Lievremont persisting with Yachvili-Parra at 9/10.
They’ll be pulling their hair out in Paris.

Thought that combination had potential. Trinh-duc a bit too slouchy for my liking.

Surprise being that he brings in another nr. 8, but leaves Harinordoquy on the bench.

It wasn’t terrible by any means, but the French press wanted his head for it (well, even more so than usual).

I think their real problem is at 12 anyway – ever since they decided Jauzion was past it there it’s not really been filled. Traille played at 12 in the 6N final match against Wales and was okay, but he was never a long-term fix. Mermoz doesn’t offload as well as Jauzion did, and just doesn’t seem to exude the same threat to the gainline. That and he’s a sicknote, meaning they have now got a 9-10-12-13 lineup that’s barely played together.
