Seilala Mapusua shifts to outside centre in place of George Pisi, who plays off the wood, with Eliota Fuimaono Sapolu starting at 12. Sailosi
Tagicakibau drops out of the squad, David Lemi starting on the wing.

There is mass change on the bench, with the Samoans preferring a 5-2 split, suggesting they see the forwards battle as being decisive to the outcome.

Samoa must win to retain any hope of progressing to the quarter-final.
