O’Gara retained at 10 – Ronan O’Gara will continue to start at flyhalf when Ireland play Italy this Sunday in Dunedin.
A win will ensure that Ireland top Pool C and in a ll probability secure a quarter-final showdown with Wales.
Meanwhile Italy coach Nick Mallett has picked South African-born locks Corne van Zyl and Quintin Geldenhuys to start.
