JP’s ready to jol

Springbok wing JP Pietersen has been given the green light to start in Sunday’s quarter-final against the Wallabies.

Pietersen injured his quad in last week’s clash against Samoa, and was listed as doubtful for the coming play-off at the Wellington Regional Stadium. However, the Bok management has confirmed that the No 14 came through a fitness test on Thursday and will definitely start against the Wallabies.

This means that the Boks will field the same two wingers, the other being Bryan Habana, that started in the 2007 World Cup final. Francois Hougaard and Gio Aplon may be brought off the bench in the second half when the game opens up.
