@BullDog15(BullDog15)-6: Have to agree too. With Frans at 12 if made a huge difference to our backline. Seen too much of JdV to know exactly what he will do. He is a good player but not in the class of Steyn, Nonu or Roberts. For me Steyn was the best out of those 3 as well.

@whatever(whatever)-5: Sadly he is right. As much as it pains me to admit. However, the introduction of Steyn at 12 made a difference that was clear for everybody to see. JdV, Olivier, neither of them worked well in our backline. And people still blame Morne for the lack of backline moves. Sure, he is no Cooper with tricks, but his distribution is fine. It is at 12 where the ball gets stuck...
