The Frog at 9? I like that team except for 15 and 9.
Thinking that Ndungane should warm the bench and come on as a super sub for Pietersen (who is essentially a lazy tosser anyway) and klap Lambie back to 15. Move the Frog to 10 and bring back McCleod to 9. I think the kid has to get back to basics to get his mojo again. He must stop aimless kicks and keep the ball in hand…maybe even pass it once in a while.

@Dusky(Dusky)-35: Dusky Francios Louw is not contracted to WP any longer , same for Guthroe , Matfield , Botha , FDP so even if they were available they wont play. Bulls basically full strenth team without the services of Morne Steyn and the 2 WP boys Sadie and JJ who will be joining them next season.

Wow are we really that bare for the S15… well that defensive nightmare of a backline with only one tactical kicker, lack of locks and the most boorish coach in RSA at the moment and I expect another season of not making the play-offs…
How much longer are Sharks fans going to be a> fooled by this dunce b>stand for such poor accumulation of playing resources…
I’d guess he’s got 2012 (after 3 years) before the masses wake-up to reality…
Even my wife was embarrassed at the quality of rugby dished out two weekends back at Kings Park!

It was awful. The hype about Kiwi coaches is certainly eggaggerated.

Dont rate McCleod at all.Played ok in CC last year but has been terrible since.
Michalak has played 9 for France and for Tolouse,also has boot to take pressure away from Lambie both for poles & tactically.
Lambie is a 10,from now we should be grooming him there.Has the entire skillset and great decisionmaker-cooler head than Michalak.He is good at 15 but has potential to be WORLD CLASS at 10.
Ndungane very good in almost all aspects,does everything well,decent boot,enters the line well,Very neat player.Lots of experience.

it’s time Sean Everitt was brought into the fold and allowed to work with The Sharks backline.

@bryce_in_oz(bryce_in_oz)-55:
Plumtree is the pits.
And no that backline has 3 kickers. Both the halfbacks in Michalak and Lambie are good kickers either for poles or tactical. And Odwa has shown he has a decent boot on him, Only player out of poistion is Mvovo but Sharks are short at 13 and Mvovo has physical gifts to make it work,Anything but Terblanche/Joubert PLEASE!!!! Jacobs can be a supersub.
We are very short at lock with the departure of Mostert to France and Sykes to Ireland. Rest are Marais,Skeate,Hargreaves etc who dont inspire alot of confidence. Better Deysel who can give us some grunt upfront that none of the other can provide-can do a Brad Thorn-esque type role.

I agree.

@mshiniwami(mshiniwami)-59
Alberts is arguably a better lock than Deysel is… agree on McLeod I cannot see how he even came close to Bok contention and I’ve ‘still’ not seen enough of Hoffman so perhaps Freddy @ 9 is a must…
As for Plummo… destroyed Rory Kockott’s career in exactly the same he did Weepu at Wellington playing his unimaginative brand… fortunately for Piri he’s managed to slowly climb the ladder back to the top…
Oh I long for the days when the Sharks had one of the quickest, most powerful ‘pick-n-drives’ up the middle in Super Rugby with backs flying onto the ball at angles all over the paddock… used to have teams on the back-foot and in disarray most the game if they could not slow it down…
It’s non-existent now…
13 Oct 2011, 16:14 pm
Biggest problem is going to be rotating in the expanded comp and still being competitive… even the Rebels are going to be a different kettle of fish now being able to contract other Super players…

@Great White Shark(Predawn)-56:
two words man….manchurian candidate…
13 Oct 2011, 19:04 pm
@once more just take a break on the beach, dear springboks, once more…(i_love_u_bakkiesbotha)-63:
Absolutely…and it pisses me off. The difference between Kiwi and South African coaches is that they get between 2 and 8 seasons to get a team right…South African coaches get two…four if they’re politically appointed…and that’s it.
