Just for the drama of it, I hope the French win (also because the numbers of arrogant kiwis outnumber arrogant French on this blog)

BUT the kiwis deserve it. Shame, they have waited so long (24 years) and had to go the extra mile (paying Bryce) and are manipulating the IRB board members so that they can play at home (when SA put together a far superior bid for RWC 2011.)

This world cup has been scripted for a kiwi win. That is why the drama of a French victory will be so sweet

Your not a kiwi, 120% of the ball? lol.
All us Kiwis know you can only have 110% of the ball in a game.

    @Heavens Game(Heavens Game)-565: from rugbyheaven,co,nz

France are backed into a dark corner, alone but not afraid.

The constant criticism that’s dubbed them the worst World Cup finalists of all time is consuming. But those insults are only enhancing their desire to be crowned World Cup champions for the first time.

Thrashed by the All Blacks and defeated by tier-two Tonga in pool play, France then discovered a quarterfinal performance to be proud of before producing arguably the ugliest semifinal win in history against 14-man Wales. Hardly an inspiring track record at this tournament is it.

Yet that counts for nothing now.

They are in the final. Accept it, move on. France doesn’t owe anyone an explanation. Sure, they had some luck, fell on their face along the rocky way and continue to amaze with playground squabbles. But the enigmatic French are the first to admit they haven’t been flash. Heck, even the heartiest French fans didn’t anticipate them staying this long.

“There aren’t many French supporters left. I don’t think they thought we would make it to the final,” lock Pascal Pape said after giving his side 10 per cent chance of winning Sunday’s final with the in-form All Blacks.

“We will do everything in our power to succeed. We would love to be the first generation to become world champions.”

Les Bleus have read and heard the engulfing condemnation expressed from every corner of New Zealand and indeed around the globe. How could they not?

Most of world rugby now wants an All Black victory to fulfil the fairytale and end 24-years of anguish for the hosts, except those watching with red wine, moustaches and fine cheese in Paree.

“They feel attacked and under pressure,” placid French assistant coach Gonzalo Quesada said of his players. “They know people think they shouldn’t be in the final. It’s quite hard to read, quite hard to listen for them and their families. It’s something that motivates you and makes you want to show how much you’re worth on the pitch.

“We’re not perfect. We have nothing to answer to people who are criticising us because we didn’t play as well as they think we should to get into the final.”

But I’m Bryce D i c k head, remember, Kiwi cheat extraordinaire. I can fix it that any team can have 150% of the ball and still lose the game. Always just keep your eyes on my bank balance, and I can lose or win you ANY game.

    All Blacks evolving into ‘robo-players’
    Neil Sands | 20 October, 2011

Researchers at Massey University compared the physiques of the 2005 All Blacks side to the “The Originals” of 1905, the first New Zealand team to tour Europe and the first to adopt the All Blacks moniker.

It found the average 2005 All Black was 187 centimetres (just over six foot one inch) tall and weighed 102.5 kilograms (226 pounds), compared to 175 cm and 81kg a century earlier.

That means the smallest member of the current All Black team set to face France in the Rugby World Cup final on Sunday — fly-half Aaron Cruden (178cm, 79kg) — is still taller and heavier than the average 1905 player.

Massey researcher Jeremy Hapeta said the typical All Black physique was also becoming more uniform across the team, nominating Sonny Bill Williams (191cm, 110kg) as the modern protoytpe “robo-player”.

“Traditionally, if you were short you were put in the backs and if you had a puku (belly) you were put in the forwards, but that was the amateur game,” he said.

“Now they want a prototype robo rugby player. Guys like Sonny Bill Williams are evening things up again.”

Hapeta said improved nutrition and fewer childhood illnesses partly accounted for the increased size of the All Blacks in the past century, but also cited the rise of professionalism in rugby union in the 1990s as a factor.

“They (modern players) are paid to train and, perhaps more importantly, paid to rest,” he said. “Without the competing demands of secondary employment, they train hard and recover well.

“They bulk up at the gym and the best of sports science and nutritional knowledge is applied to making them bigger, faster and stronger.”

Hapeta said the statistical trend indicated that even today’s hulking behemoths had the potential to be superseded by bigger players in the future.

“We are not going to see the growth spurts at the level we have seen from 1905 to 2005 — 12cm and 7.5kg — we will not see those sorts of leaps,” he said.

“But we could see them growing by 1-2cm average height and 2-3kg average weight. You can lay odds that the All Blacks jerseys of the future will come in yet larger sizes.”

I know it all done and dusted, but i am just thinking about a funny scenario. Just imagine, Bryce comes to South Africa on holiday, and walks into a Pretoria Afrikaner bar to enjoy a cold one, and someone recognizes him…I think the rest speaks for itself.

Does anything ever change here? If it is not the whiter than white,in a very defensive mmanner, dodging searching questions then it’s the blacker than black doing likewise. Sometimes, rarely though, it is those who are ” just intrigued ” (and will forever be so for their lifetime) making the most definitive comments about blacks(never having ever been in those shoes).

However, the true stupids are at it full tilt again, without fail as they comment about matters they are not qualified to so do.

Anyone and everyone can only definitively comment about their own emotions and absolutely no one elses’ emotions.

For some that emotion is invested in people’s lives and how it is governed or misgoverned(‘politics’) or even used or abused or misused(health).

For the lesser minded, that emotion is invested totally in sports. These simply exhibit, however, their limitations and simply confirm the fact that they have truly been taken in by the ‘dagga’ of the so non-discerning masses.

    ‘Julle lewe aspris.’

It seems as if Gary K will have more to do then he expected- in India he only had to deal withy the minds and attitude while here he will have to also deal with the lack of technique and even talent.

Going to be an interesting test series with the Aussies favourites at this stage- Ponting seems to be in great nick.
