@poppa69(poppa69)-4: bissy….alberts and Hougaard and we would have been fronting France tomorrow imo…..
but now we playing CC and licking our wounds….
sentimentality, candy floss for brains, a weak kneed Head Coach and a self glory seeking fat boy torpedoed boks chances…..
and broke my heart….
best of luck tomorrow poppa….I will be supporting France….but may the best team win and may the ref have no influence….
enjoy my man!

Certainly hope Pat gets young player of the year this year. He damn well should have got it last year. Was magnificent in us beating Province in the cc final.
Was one of our best Boks in this wc and the youngest as well. So solid at fb and that one on one tackle against the Samoan was awesome.
Burger will probably get player of the year.

but what the fark….its only 4 more years…viva!
22 Oct 2011, 13:37 pm
@wooden spoon(wooden spoon)-29: Nothing. But he got Stormers to the Semi of SuperRugby. Unless of course Sharks win the CC. Then a cup means more. Then Plum should get it. That saying goes for Mitchell too. If Lions win the CC then it should go to Mitchell.
22 Oct 2011, 13:37 pm
@grant10(grant10)-30: nope, hes been quite adamant that there has been collusion and NZ and IRB conspiracy to have NZ in the final…
22 Oct 2011, 13:38 pm
@grant10(grant10)-34: what has Mitchell done?
Lions 2nd last in Super 15 and big (super rugby) fish in a small (Vodacom) pool.

Ask me, I was part of it. I did my bit, I received my moola, and our beloved AB’s are in the final! I love it when a plan comes together!
22 Oct 2011, 13:41 pm

22 Oct 2011, 13:41 pm
@grant10(grant10)-34: Mitchell has won nothing yet. If he wins the cc then Mitchell should get it. Stormers got to the semi of SuperRugby. BUT a cup means more. So whoever wins the CC that coach should win it. AC still in that race too. I think we could see a repeat of last years CC final.
Cheetahs our bogey team though. So just have to wait until after our game today. But we have some awesome players back. Only our centres are a worry. Other than that we have a very, very good chance of winning today.
Bloody hot here in Durbs. Very hot to be playing rugby in the afternoon.
22 Oct 2011, 13:42 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-37: well then plod and pdv part of it…because they the ones who farked us over
22 Oct 2011, 13:42 pm
I saw SA 7s employ new tactics at Twickers 7s – rolling maul – evidence of actual coaching thought. They won it overall at Twickers. Paul Treu for me.
The other coaches haven’t won anything. Plumtree coached the Sharks to the CC last year but the S15 was poor so he certainly doesn’t deserve it.
22 Oct 2011, 13:42 pm
@Transformation(Transformation)-7:
Could say the same for Freddie. Obviously the Sharks have the fix in.
22 Oct 2011, 13:43 pm
@Puma(Puma)-43: yip sharks get the 12 and 13 sorted they will win super 15 next year imo……
throw the kitchen sink into getting F Steyn back
22 Oct 2011, 13:43 pm
@41
and you did a damn fine job too… your performance was so suspect that everyone thinks you just reffed poorly for both sides..
how little do they know..
next time I see you the beers are on me… you’ll never have to pay for another beer in your lifetime…
truly a NZ legend, right up there with Sir Edmund and Rutherford…
standing ovation here…
22 Oct 2011, 13:44 pm
Bismarck should get the Player of the Year award and this after coming off the bench in his last few outings more often than not.
If he doesn’t get it, guess who won’t be receiving any biltong in the post any more.
