Cooper crocked
22 Oct 2011
Quade Cooper will miss the Wallabies’ end-of-year tour due to a knee injury.
The Wallabies flyhalf tore his ACL in Friday’s third-place play-off against Wales. It is yet to be confirmed, but he is likely to be sidelined for the next six months.
He will miss the Wallabies’ coming games against Wales and the Barbarians, and the injury will also effect his involvement in the 2012 Super Rugby competition.

Mighty All Black Dragon, Number One!!
Havent they worked it out yet?
Cooper was part of K I 6 NZ Rugby Intelligence, as was Deans, sent in undercover and as a sleeper to infiltrate and disrupt the Wallabies game plan. Now the cup is over he has feigned injury and Deans will be sacked to return and coach the AB’s for the next WC with all the inside knowledge……;-)

haha you useless c-unt. I hope the surgeon doesn’t wash his hands after having a kak and your injury gets infected.

@Kobus Kitty(Kobus Kitty)-2: Hopefully to the same degree as your mouth.

Cooper is a class act, the hate campaign has been childish to the extreme! He’s a youngster and I hope the surgery goes well.
Cooper needs to realise that the kiwi behaviour toward him was the highest compliment they could pay him.

Who cares ? Wannabes will probably improve without that coward . Barnes a far better 10.

@JEZ(DEE DAH)-4: No it wasnt, not at all. Cooper is a pratt and the dislike for Cooper came soley from his attitude and behaviour towards Richie, not that they were ‘in awe’ of his little dances he does.
Nick Farr Jones warned it would come back and bite him ( and his team) on the *** and it did.
I dont think that Cooper acted alone and I have a sneaky suspicion that he may have had some direction with the targeting of McCaw.
Any coach in his right mind would and should have pulled Cooper up earlier but he wasnt and the constant niggle went on and started to go a bit far with the stupid knee to the head.
If anything, as it does with the AB’s, just makes them sterner.
As for his injury, well I dont like to see any one injured, no matter who and hope
he gets better, wakes up to himself and becomes a better person for it….but then he has that loud mouth Stepanie Rice for girlfriend and Mundine for a mate so little chance there I would expect.

Deserves all the pain an sorrow he gets arrogant Aussie his fancy footwork does not cut it at International level,another blogger said a few weeks back that you don’t win the RWC with a Quade Cooper/Carlos Spencer type flyhalf seems he was right.

People who delight in others misfortune are the lowest of the low. There are some real w@nkers in this world.

Corms,
I agree 100%. I was brought up never to kick a man when he is down. The “experts” on this site who delight in Cooper’s misfortune are real C.unts and not rugby proper rugby people. Most likely never played a game in their lives and like the cowards and scum that they are they hide behind a computer. Yes QC did some petulant things to RM but seriously I think the first AB centurion can look after himself and doesn’t need back up from a bunch of losers with no rugby culture or ethos.

Just look at all the injuries. Lets face it,the guys play far too much rugby….

Cooper was deservedly booed for kneeing McCaw in the head but i think he’s learnt his lesson and won’t be doing that any more. I was glad to see a few kiwis (myself included but especially Maori and the Islanders) cheering for the Aussies last night but once Cooper walked off, and when he collected his medal, the whole crowd clapped him. No one wants to see someone injured. I doubt the hate he felt this year will last much longer – he’s no Gregan

@JEZ(DEE DAH)-10:
Absolutely. Anybody that has played rugby will never be happy to see someone do a knee.

@captain fantail(captain fantail)-1: I’ll happily admit it, I laughed. Good one.
And yeah, I thought Barnes was pretty good. Cooper has amazing skills on his good days, but he’s too inconsistent and unreliable. If he had played the crucial semi-final the same impressive way he played the first quarter of the meaningless bronze final, Australia may (just may) have edged the All Blacks.

Sad, an unfortunate injury to a player… I prefer Barnes at 10, but geez not at another players misfortune.
24 Oct 2011, 09:09 am
@gonzo(gonzo)-12:
Nah he certainly aint no Gregan…. He was a world champion…The best pure scrumhalf in pro era & most of all-stuck it at the AB’s for years…Legend.
Cooper is a overhyped Spencer-esque fairy. His injury very unfortunate though.
But he was awful..throughout RWc 2011.

Lucky lad! Can anything on earth be more pointless than an EOYT straight after a RWC? Other than tricycles for pilchards?
24 Oct 2011, 09:17 am
@TheTackler(TheTackler)-17: I’m sure there are several things more pointless. Like that profile you created on the dating site. And the condom in your bedside table drawer. And your gym membership.
