Ford to skipper Scots
25 Jan 2012
Hooker Ross Ford has been handed the Scotland captaincy for next week’s Six Nations match against England.
Coach Andy Robinson had identified Kelly Brown as the man to lead the Scots, but the loose forward was injured recently in a European Cup match. The responsibility will now fall to Ford.
‘It’s a massive honour and privilege to captain your country,’ said Ford. ‘I’m really grateful to be given this chance to captain a team of so much potential.
‘For me, the big thing is leading from the front and actually showing a good example to the boys as well as backing it up with words.’

So will he be the captain for the whole six nations? When is Kelly Brown expected back?

@Sasuke-1:
Brown is out for the whole 6N.
Ford is a good choice I reckon.
Have your say
