Italy drop Van Zyl

Italy have made two changes to their starting line-up for their Six Nations clash against England on Saturday.

Veteran lock Marco Bortolami replaces South African-born Corniel van Zyl in the second row. Bortolami will earn his 90th cap at the Stadio Olimpico, as he partners another Saffa lock and Aironi team-mate Quintin Geldenhuys. The other change sees inside centre Gonzalo Canale start in place of Alberto Sgarbi, who’s been dropped from the match-day squad.

Italy - 15 Andrea Masi, 14 Giovanbattista Venditti, 13 Tommaso Benvenuti, 12 Gonzalo Canale, 11 Luke McLean, 10 Kristopher Burton, 9 Edoardo Gorim, 8 Sergio Parisse, 7 Robert Barbieri, 6 Alessandro Zanni, 5 Marco Bortolami, 4 Quintin Geldenhuys, 3 Martin Castrogiovanni, 2 Leonardo Ghiraldini, 1 Andrea Lo Cicero.
Subs: 16 Tommaso D’Apice, 17 Lorenzo Cittadini, 18 Antonio Pavanello, 19 Mauro Bergamasco, 20 Fabio Semenzato, 21 Tobias Botes, 22 Luca Morisi.
