Mitchell initially baulked at the idea of playing a “weakened” team and said he won’t be sending his yster manne to Outeniqua Park, it’s good to see that he’s changed his mind :D

The Lions are going to want to send a very strong message to Hoskins & Co that merit and Kings don’t belong in the same sentence. And the Kings are going to do their best to salvage a little PR from this clash. Expect a full on assault with injuries, yellow cards and plenty of hostility in the stands. Just what you need when you’re about to embark on a long tournament with a skeleton squad.
