Wales wait on North
15 Feb 2012
Wales wing George North is undergoing aggressive rehab in a bid to be fit for their Test against England in a fortnight.
North sprained his ankle in the 27-13 win over Scotland at the Millennium Stadium on Sunday. The WRU statement said he was ‘currently undergoing intense rehab with a view to being back in training next week’.
There are further injury concerns in the form of hooker Huw Bennett (calf) and stand-in skipper Ryan Jones (dead leg). Wales captain Sam Warburton is still nursing a thigh injury but the medical staff are confident of his recovery.
