Cheetahs prop in Bloem bar fight

Coenie Oosthuizen has allegedly assaulted a man in a Bloemfontein bar and could face legal action.

Die Volksblad reports that Oosthuizen allegedly stepped between two men who were arguing inside the bar Barba’s, and proceeded to shove one of the men. He then threatened the man and later knocked the man to the ground.

‘We weren’t even out the door when Coenie came from behind and threw a punch at my friend,’ the other man told the newspaper. ‘When he fell, Coenie sat on him and hit him repeatedly.’

The owner of Barba’s has confirmed that the two men involved in the original argument had been asked to leave before Oosthuizen stepped in.

The man who was allegedly punched by the Cheetahs prop said he will look at Barba’s security camera footage before deciding whether he will press charges. Meanwhile, the Cheetahs coaching staff has said that it knows nothing of the incident and have been unable to contact Oosthuizen.

    Ha ha, the victim needs to study the security camera footage before deciding whether to press charges. Something tells me he can’t even remember whether he was there or not, never mind whether he started the sht.

    This Coenie fight reminds me of a massive brawl outside the Cheetahs Players Clubhouse “Old Grey Clubhouse” next to the stadium.
    The Cheetahs had won and only “V.I.P.S” were allowed in Old Grey, guarded by 2 big bouncers.
    Later that evening a few BIIIGGG Duuutchman wanted to come inside and the bouncer explained to them that the clubhouse was only for V.I.P.S.
    After the initial finger pointing, the altercation evolved into a massive fight.
    Faaark these Duutchman will actually “pooos you to death” (I decided not to get involved).

    The fight eventually was stopped by…………. wait for it…………… Leon Schuster.

    Schuster is the biggest Cheetahs fan on the planet.

    The infamous drunken incident with Os on overseas tour with Boks where he was refused entry into hotel and ended up gettin a bit heated with security.Div had to come down to settle the drunken tirade…led to Os losing his job…

    Os is one of the biggest doooses in SA. Brilliant player on the field, but of the field he’s a real assholle. will never greet fans or sign autographs, when you go pass him in public and greet him, then he will just ignore you. When hes on tv for an interview or rugby program then he is friendly and polite , but the moment the cameras go off he’s as rude a person as you get, much like Kobus Wiese. I got no respect for OS!!
