Rory Best will captain Ireland in their Six Nations Test against Scotland at Lansdowne Road on Saturday.

With stand-in captain Paul O’Connell ruled out of the remainder of the tournament with knee ligament damage best has been asked to lead the side.

Donnacha Ryan will start in place of O’Connell, while Eoin Reddan returns at scrumhalf after Conor Murray sustained a knee injury against France last weekend. Mike McCarthy and Tomas O’Leary come on to the bench to cover lock and scrumhalf respectively.
