Kahui wings it for Chiefs
14 Mar 2012
Richard Kahui will play the same position he played for the All Blacks at the 2011 World Cup when the Chiefs meet the Brumbies on Friday.
Coach Dave Rennie has opted to make a number of changes. Shifting Kahui to the wing will break up the burgeoning midfield partnership between Sonny Bill Williams and Kahui, although Rennie has been forced to reshuffle his backline as Asaeli Tikoirotuma is on bereavement leave. This means that Jackson Willison will take Kahui’s place at outside centre.
Other changes see Liam Messam shifting to No 8, Sam Cane coming into the team at openside flank and Tanerau Latimer moving to blindside.
