Blues’ injury woes continue

Wing David Raikuna has been ruled out of Friday’s match against the Stormers due to a hamstring injury.

Raikuna joins Anthony Boric, Jerome Kaino, Isaia Toeava, George Moala and Rudi Wulf on the Blues’ injury list. Michael Hobbs is on bereavement leave, Rene Ranger was suspended last week and Tony Woodcock is only expected back ahead of the next match.

Raikuna has been replaced by Ben Lam in the Blues’ starting side. Francis Saili comes onto the bench.

    The problem for the stormers lies with the Braid brothers. 2 good fetchers against the Stormers none.

    @stand-off(Braders)-1: Agree, blues will probably look to play a wide expansive game to try utilize the Braid bros speed to the breakdown. Anscombe will have to be on song defensively as well, as I reckon Stormers will direct traffic at the kid.

    @ali(ali)-3: I hope your wrong. I just saw on weather sa that there’s no rain for tonight, but I am in Pretoria and I know you cant’t believe everything the weather man say. We need the 5 points toningt so a dry game will be best!
