Bulls, Sharks get good news
19 Mar 2012
Johann Sadie and Flip van der Merwe have been declared fit for the Bulls, while Steven Sykes has been cleared to join the Sharks on tour.
Sadie injured his shoulder in the Bulls’ first Super Rugby match of the season against the Sharks, with Van der Merwe hurting his ankle against the Blues. According to SuperSport.com, the former WP centre returned to training on Monday, while the second rower has benefited from a week off (the Bulls had a bye last weekend) and is set to play against the Reds.
Meanwhile, Sport24 reports that Steven Sykes has been cleared to join the Sharks in Sydney. The lock left the field in the 28th minute of his side’s match against the Reds on Saturday with a knee injury, but it was found to be not serious.

Interesting to see if Sadie can live up to the hype and what the center pairing will be when all are available.

@UKSaffa(catchlightuk.com)-1: Crunch time for the Bulls. After the Sharks’ heroics on Saturday you can’t help but feel that if the Bulls lose against the Reds at Loftus they will likely end up close to bottom this year. Maybe the many injuries to the Reds team that could save the Bully babies.
