Bulls unchanged for Cape cracker
28 Mar 2012
The Bulls have named the same run-on side for their derby against the Stormers at Newlands on Saturday.
There is one forced change on the bench where hooker Willie Wepener is replaced by 21-year-old Vodacom Cup player Bongi Mbonambi.
Coach Frans Ludeke said: ‘We have done well last weekend against the defending Super Rugby champions [the Reds], but now the only undefeated team in the competition waits. The Stormers are an established outfit with a lot of experience and it will take a massive effort from us to beat them at home.’
Captain Pierre Spies added: ‘There is a lot of emotion involved. It is important for us to control those emotions, play in a clinical way and not allow it to impact on your options. We still have a long way to go in the competition, but this will be one of our greatest challenges.’
Bulls – 15 Zane Kirchner, 14 Akona Ndungane, 13 Johann Sadie, 12 Wynand Olivier, 11 Bjorn Basson, 10 Morné Steyn, 9 Francois Hougaard, 8 Pierre Spies (c), 7 Jacques Potgieter, 6 CJ Stander, 5 Juandré Kruger, 4 Flip van der Merwe, 3 Werner Kruger, 2 Chiliboy Ralepelle, 1 Dean Greyling.
Subs: 16 Bongi Mbonambi, 17 Frik Kirsten, 18 Wilhelm Steenkamp, 19 Arno Botha, 20 Jano Vermaak, 21 Louis Fouché, 22 JJ Engelbrecht.

“Bulls unchanged for Cape cracker”..?…wtf?
i dont like the sound of this…what is it a bunch of crack addicts waiting to ambush the team somewhere in the cape..?.. or subliminal insinuations of them or us practising the love that dare not speak its name..?…
Have your say
