Sharks lose Lambie
28 Mar 2012
The Sharks have been boosted by the return of JP Pietersen and Jean Deysel but have lost flyhalf Pat Lambie to a jaw injury.
Lambie took a knock to the jaw in last week’s clash with Waratahs, and has been ruled out of Saturday’s battle with the Brumbies. As a result, Freddie Michalak will start at No 10.
Pietersen’s return from injury sees Tim Whitehead moving to No 12 and Meyer Bosman dropping to the bench. Lock Steven Sykes is moved into the starting line-up at the expense of Anton Bresler.
Coach John Plumtree has named five forwards in his group of reserves, and much will be expected of Deysel when he takes the field.
Sharks – 15 Riaan Viljoen, 14 Odwa Ndungane, 13 JP Pietersen, 12 Tim Whitehead, 11 Lwazi Mvovo, 10 Freddie Michalak, 9 Charl McLeod, 8 Keegan Daniel (c), 7 Willem Alberts, 6 Marcell Coetzee, 5 Jandre Marais, 4 Steven Sykes, 3 Jannie du Plessis, 2 Bismarck du Plessis, 1 Dale Chadwick.
Subs: 16 Craig Burden, 17 Wiehahn Herbst, 18 Anton Bresler, 19 Jean Deysel, 20 Jacques Botes, 21 Meyer Bosman, 22 Louis Ludik.

Loss of Lambie (LoL?) is more significant than return of Deysel. These sharkies sure miss the Beast upfront.

Smart money was on the Brumbies by 5, with Lambie out and JP in it probably grows to 10 points

Return of Deysel will be telling .

@Hondo(Hondo)-7:
As a matter of interest; do you plainly despise the participation of black rugby players/ administration in rugby union locally and abroad?

Even if Lambie was playing the Brumbies seem to be good at home!! Hope the Sharks win though…

Don’t panic. I’m sure he’ll turn up sometime.
He can’t stay lost forever.

did the poor wee Lambie get manhandled by his (Dean) Mumm’ie ?
big tough tadpoles the laughing stock here in the Lucky Country.

@PrickBoks going South(PrickBoks going South)-19:
oh you mean the country being taken over by foreigners?
30 Mar 2012, 05:22 am
Given that I’m an immigrant myself, that would be hard to deny.
Harder to ignore the fact that the whinging Yappies can’t seem to flee their own cuntry quickly enough.
there there, come to Mumm’ie
200,000 plays on YouTube and counting. Seems like no one can get enough of the big tough tadpole being swatted like a fly by the Mumm’ies boy. L O L
