Ashley Johnson has been selected on the blindside flank for the Cheetahs’ upcoming clash with the Lions.

Johnson is the only change to the Cheetahs side that started last week in Wellington. Justin Downey moves to the bench as a result.

Piet van Zyl has recovered from an ankle injury and will start as planned but fullback Hennie Daniller is still in doubt. Daniller will undergo a late fitness test on Friday to determine his availability.
