Hi fellas

Busy here with many things; if I dont 'see' you again have a wonderful Passover, yes not Easter - that's pagan; just follow the Jewish calendar and you're safe

It was on 6th April around 30 AD that Yeshua ben Yosef went through His terrible ordeal, but in the end it was worth it. Your demons may not agree with that.

Closer to home, a certain Mr Jan van Riebeeck apparently arrived in Cape Town in 1652, some 360 years ago; an arrival that one can have mixed feelings about but be that as it may.

Notice that he found not CT that day but Autshumato (Harry the beachcomber) who was already well established in these parts as a translator. You will appreciate then why I say that the Cape has to be returned to its rightful owners:-)

When Keo & Co's been bashing SA Rugby this is what the NZ Media has to say about our Super teams this year...

OPINION: Sharks coach John Plumtree said it, and everyone in New Zealand has vehemently disagreed, that it is much harder to win the South African leg of Super Rugby. He may well be correct.

South Africa has come a long way since the late 1990s when the game was built around brawn and passion, with Natal being the trendsetters of the time by passing it, albeit in a very flat formation, very close together, and definitely not if there was a less than 80/20 chance of it coming off.

During this early period of Super Rugby, the South African Rugby Union, no doubt in an attempt to make up for lost ground, appointed a back as the national coach. What did he do, he tried to get them to run and pass, a plan so foreign to the selected individuals that they began losing regularly.

An emergency meeting was called and all the provincial coaches invited! What I expected to be a "think tank" to provide ideas for a relatively inexperienced coach, turned in to a sledging session, much of it in Afrikaans, with potential national coaches leading the way.

As a quiet observer, I was surprised that there was little technical or tactical detail discussed but a lot of accusations that the players had no "heart" and the coach had no idea. My thoughts were that it appeared the coach was running before he had taught them to walk. No matter, he was soon dismissed.

There was never any doubt in my mind that South Africa possessed a huge number of talented rugby players in skill, speed and size, and it would only be a matter of time that South African teams would again be the greatest rugby challenge. Let's face it, they were tough enough before they saw the "big picture", so they could only get better.

Super Rugby has provided that stage for their franchises to develop, and after making only two finals in the first eleven seasons – the Sharks were well beaten by the Blues in 1996, and smashed by the Brumbies in 2001 – the Bulls finally lifted the trophy in 2007 with a one point win against the Sharks.

Since then the Bulls have won the title in 2009 and in 2010, when once again it was an all-South African final, this time against the Stormers. There can be no doubt that the skill level and tactical nous has caught up with their physicality, which makes South African teams a lethal mix.

No longer are the Lions and Cheetahs easy beats, with the Cheetahs providing a new brand of exciting rugby that is good enough to beat the Hurricanes in their own backyard and demonstrates that they are continuing to evolve. This must be a concern for New Zealand franchises, who all tend to churn out similar styles each week.

Tomorrow night at Yarrow Stadium the locals will be able to judge for themselves whether they can believe what the lad from Hawera has been uttering.

Is Plumtree just talking it up after a slow start or will it be the fourth season without a New Zealand title win?

@Alucard(Alucard)-26: go on youtube and look up morne vs wales at the world cup, jamie roberts made his b(itch!

remember when morne was at fullback last year? he was a bloody turnstile.

when he tackles he keeps his body so far away from the opponent it is ridiculous.

his defence is shoddy in any language!
