KES conquer on home soil

KES were the top performers at their own Easter Festival over the long weekend.

KES beat Viadana convincingly (41-3) to confirm their unbeaten status at the tournament, following triumphs over St Andrew’s (58-8) and Bishops (28-13). It was an impressive result considering the Italain tourists showed good form in their wins over Jeppe and Eldoraigne on day one and two earlier in the weekend.

Marlow were the other unbeaten school as they downed Eldoraigne 22-8. The Eastern Cape side also beat St Alban’s (34-3) and Jeppe (19-5) on day one and two respectively.

In other results on day three, Jeppe and Bishops managed their first wins with a 83-3 drubbing of the tournament invitational XV and a 34-22 triumph over St Benedict’s respectively.

Litchenburg edged Pretoria Boys’ 22-17, while St Andrew’s eased past St Alban’s (36-13).
