Crusaders cleared of foul play
9 Apr 2012
Crusaders coach Todd Blackadder has demanded an apology from the Bulls after eye-gouging allegations against his team couldn’t be substantiated by the Super Rugby citing commissioner.
Bulls forwards Chiliboy Ralepelle and Flip van der Merwe complained to referee Jaco Peyper that they had been eye-gouged during their match in Pretoria, won 32-30 by the Bulls. Peyper used a white card to refer the incidents to the citing commissioner.
According to reports in New Zealand, the commissioner has reviewed the video footage of the incidents in question and found the Crusaders not guilty.
‘The citing commissioner has reviewed it and after that review there was nothing in the video footage that would point to the allegation being substantiated,’ Sanzar chief executive Greg Peters said.
‘The citing commissioner also found it interesting that the Bulls did not follow through with a complaint within the four-hour window after the game.’
After the game, Blackadder said he was ‘bemused’ at the allegations and demanded an apology if they were found to be incorrect. Following the citing commissioner’s ruling and after looking at the footage, the Crusaders coach wonders why the Bulls would have made such claims.
‘The first one with Chiliboy, you would expect that the player would come out of the breakdown holding his eye, but he certainly didn’t. I wonder whether it was a negative ploy.’
Captain Kieran Read also said that he was disappointed with the Bulls for accusing the Crusaders of such tactics.
‘Initially I was really surprised at the allegations,’ he said. ‘It has now come out that there’s no case to answer.
‘It’s a kick in the guts to us because we’re men of integrity and it’s no surprise that it’s turned out the way it has.’

Flips eye did look like a squashed guava, so maybe some finger poked him in the eye

Nothing will be done about this because it is New Zealand players and they never do anything dirty on a Rugby field

@ShaunSwindon(Karma-zaf)-3: Go and count the shoulder charges in the Sharks/Hurricanes game. Hurricanes 11 Sharks5. Not a single penalty against the Hurricanes.JdP was seen ,but Taylor scored a try and nothing came of that one. That gives 16 incidents where Bakkies would have either been cited or penalized. Double standards! Brad Thorn just as “dirty”as Bakkies . NEVER properly penalized.
And what is this “demanding an apology” . If it proves to be wrong,let it go. It was never proven that Bakkies eye gouged Cannon,yet he got suspended(I think it was Cannon).

@optiplay(optiplay)-4: Yep here comes the revisionism Baakies was a clean as a whistle – squeaky clean never bit never gouged.
I hope the accusers have proof or it is just as likely one of the cheating mongrels from their own team did it. Let’s face it the Bulls have long standing form in this area.
8 Apr 2012, 09:47 am
and bulls players aren’t the sort to make up stories of eye gouging particularly when they actually won the game anyway.
the crusaders were very dirty and synical yesterday. There were many instances of tackles without the use of the arms. And how about kieren reid at the breakdown. When will refs wake up to the fact that kiwis roll into the scrumhalf to block the quick pass. Oh….and then carters desperate blocking of basson.
plenty went on withregards to the crusaders yesterday.
I’m completely pissed that the bulls let them leave loftus with a bonus point.

@Qrest(Qrest)-5: Show me a “clean” international lock. NZ teams are no more “clean”players than any other international team(exceptSamoa). Do yourself a favour and go through the game Hl/Sharks again. Very “clean”play by your team. But I forgot.your shoulder charges are actually “clean”charges. My mistake.
8 Apr 2012, 10:13 am
saders denying claims hardly surprising. they know full well there players are too clever to do anything that might actually get caught on camera
kiwis know how to niggle those bokke out of sight, to get retaliation in full view. much smarter in their dirty play than our boys. and if you’re caught, deny deny deny. meealamu a classic example.

Filthy kiwi poeslaps.
Its almost as bad as saying Christian Kevvie doesn’t headbutt people on purpose.
As for Slackbladder bleating for an apology he can go fist himself.

The Crusaders are masters of the type of obstructive unsporting play that Carter was blown up for. Carter himself does it very often, with numerous of his so called brilliant moves leading up to tries involving him subtly holding a guy back or “assisting” the gap to open by obstructing an inside defender.
He just happened to get caught this time.

Mikey
I’m away for the easter holidays, so typing from my Blackberry. Not really fun. Only saw the last 20min of the game yesterday, but I reckon we gave away 2 easy tries after thinking the game was in the bag and slacking off as a result. And Carter’s obstruction was cynical and utterly intentional. B*stard.

@Tacitus(Deucalion)-14: Urgh yes, I had a BB until 6 months ago and this site works horrible on it. I switched to a Windows Mobile HTC. The site is still not optimised properly for a mobile experience but it is better on non-BBs.
General thoughts on the game. Thought Spies played well. The locks were solid, not spectacular. Potgieter wasn’t great and he was outplayed by CJ Stander. Akona was industrious as always. Olivier had a good game; Sadie has some way to go to settle into the Bulls pattern of attack but is ok on defence. Chiliboy was fantastic; what a player. Hougaard was his busy self. Steyn was fantastic with the boot but poor in general play with Olivier making up for it.
Yes I agree, the players became complaicent on defense. Overall, another learning curve for the boys. Better to learn while winning and being in the top half of the log.
Spies is developing into a decent captain. I thought making him captain was a joke and I’m eating my words.
8 Apr 2012, 11:03 am
Happy Easter to all btw, including Skoppie

Thanks for the review Mikey. Didn’t see the first 60min, so appreciate your report.

@Tacitus(Deucalion)-17: The Bulls will be a threat in the second half of the competition. I will be helluva surprised if they do not reach the playoffs where anything can happen.

The Inquisitors will quickly find the truth of the matter.
Then Chili and Flipper can apologise,
and all will be well in the world once again
Or then again:
They may not apologise………………………………………….and the Rugby World will once again see what sportsmanship means in Bulls Country.
8 Apr 2012, 12:15 pm
Aha. Two fave kiwis!
And they come out swinging!
8 Apr 2012, 12:19 pm
@Michael(mikeybrass)-15: Hougaard was immense. He was the difference between both teams in my opinion. I thought Spies was okay but do agree that he has the makings of a very good captain. Stander had a good game and I hardly saw Potgieter but maybe that is a good thing…..doing the hard yards for his team? Steyn kicked well but cannot unlock a backline. Just my opinion!
8 Apr 2012, 12:20 pm
This is going to be interesting hopefully there’s enough footage to make a conclusive decision. While I find it hard to believe the crusaders a dumb enough to do such a thing I find it even harder to believe chilli and flip would both lie knowing full well there are cameras everywhere.
Especially since this is the “justice for richie” law following the rwc it would be ironic that his own team mates get pinged for it.
Rugby is fast becoming a get away with what you can game especially at ruck and in broken play with obstructions ,late hits and shoulder charges going unnoticed.
Something else I didn’t get was why the hurricanes 7 wasn’t pinged for retaliation ???? Or is it now acceptable ?I distinctly remember Duane Vermulen against the highlanders being warned not to retaliate by the ref cause “he would deal with it” ofcourse the ref did nothing about the provoking offense . it’s really getting annoyingly inconsistent
8 Apr 2012, 12:20 pm
Caner.
Flips eye looked like Ron Jeremy had stuck his morning glory into it.
Somewhere there is a piece of Crusader scum with a piece of his retina under his fingernail.
Some nasty late shoulder charges too.
A particularly bad one from the drunken scooter streaker.
(By the way which trailer park in Pongoland DOES he hail from?)
The citing officer should be busy.

@optiplay(optiplay)-4
Concerning your Champion Gouger Bakkies and Brendon Cannon:
Try this……………………………
………………… in August 2003 he (Botha) was accused of biting and then eye-gouging Wallabies hooker Brendan Cannon, and although there was insufficient video evidence to consider the biting charge, and he was found not guilty of gouging, he was still suspended for eight weeks for “attacking the face”.[4] Cannon has given interviews stating that Botha both bit and gouged him [1] [2], and Botha himself gave an interview to The Times saying that his ban was “for an eye-gouge” [3].
Good enough for me Opti.
Bakkies is perhaps the filthiest player to ever take the field in the Pro-era.
Biting and gouging all in one sequence. Pure poetry.

unlike last week’s match v the lions, this was a proper rugby match. i was at both coke park last week and loftus yesterday.
i hope flip and chilliboy are being sincere about their claims. it takes away from a really fantastic match. crusaders were in a lull during the third quarter of the match. and then they suddenly came alive again. typically all three of their tries scored by long range strike running. if they had replicated this style of play more often, they could have won. the bulls seem to have a built in weakness against long range attacks.
8 Apr 2012, 12:40 pm
@Tacitus(Deucalion)-12:
Crusaders ROBBED of an almost certain try, if this is the instance to which I think you refer.
How can a player be obstructing when he is behind the ball carrier.
Even when you Okes win you whine.
I’m sure if I went outside my house right now,
and cupped my ear to the west,
I would hear a faint but unmistakable low whine in the breeze.
8 Apr 2012, 12:41 pm
filthy kiwis
just filthy
unsurprising though
the usual old dirty, cynical stuff from the crusaders
fark i hate this team as much as i hate the all blacks, for what they’ve become.
these people are a blight on the game, when the poosy irb grow balls and actually do something about it.
enjoy when they lose sooooo soooo much
good luck on the weekend stormers.

Ahah.
So when a kiwi does a bit of eyeball surgery….
Shiit happens.
8 Apr 2012, 12:46 pm
i have to really mention this. if you’re a true fan of rugby put this on your bucket list – watch dan carter live at least once. the great man is 30 this year and he might not play too many more years.
simply put (and what the TV cameras cannot accurately bring across) carter has the purest pass perhaps in the history of the game. and he just seems to always have that extra second on the ball that other players don’t.
he’s still getting up to speed post groin tear, because his goal kicking and kicking out of hand were below standard (zane kirchner in particular read his kicks very well all evening). other than that he was his usual self. his tackling is fierce and he took the ball up many times into tackles by the bulls heavies, without losing the ball or conceding a turnover.
8 Apr 2012, 12:52 pm
@cane(cane)-32:
With regards to obstruction I don’t think it’s about where the player is with regards to the ball carrier it’s about what action the impeding player has taken . In this case I agree with the touch judge Dan carter makes the pass but remains involved in the play by making deliberate blocking contact with basson who may or may not have got to the ball carrier .
Its like pulling a back or blocking a supporting runner on attack , obviously a supporting runner is behind the ball career so is the player pulling him back … So are you saying is that does not count as obstruction because they are behind the ball carrier?
8 Apr 2012, 12:53 pm
what match were some of you watching? ref and touch judges missed a couple of things, like when kieran read knocked on the ball (i think the ball almost bounced up twice after he dropped it
) i saw no cynical play from the saders. its a contact sport. where was all this obstruction
8 Apr 2012, 13:03 pm
the zac guildford hit on ndungane (or was it kirchner) could have been reffed because he got him super hard at about collar bone level and stopped him dead in the tracks. i have to say though, the bulls faithful are somewhat misrepresented in some quarters. they are more tolerant than they are given credit for.

Dammit to hell I knew poor old bakkies was not tge only one who brought tge filth – poor chilliboy , yip gotta watch those kiwis..
8 Apr 2012, 14:28 pm
We can see from here why SA justice system is shot.
Anyway if the person is not SA or an outsider, he will be found guilty no matter what.
Pathetic really.
Until they have proof on what happened, no one gouged at all.
I suggest you guys calm down. For all we know it could have been a Bulls player gouging the wrong player…..now wouldnt that be a shame. Gunther and his homies will go missing for a while.
And if it was a Kiwi, ban him for the rest of the year. Last thing we want is to be put in the same bracket as the South African players.

Best ever international team to walk the green grass of rugby and of course the Saders that still cause problems even after coaches leaving and natural disasters.

they make rugby unlikeable with their constant cynical, intentional and so often dirty play.
the shoulder charges, the holding back, the tugging, the stuff at the rucks, the obstructing…and on..and on….
why..?…why..?…
you have so much in the way of skill, talent, power, ability as a nation and canterbury as a region yet you waste what could be a glorious history written and spoken about by people the world over because of how they have come to play the game….really… people do not like the all blacks of today…at all…

Saders were a bit niggly. A smart bunch though. Love the way they got that penalty by not competing in the maul after the line out.
Met them in Jozi last year and chatted to Carter for a bit . A really nice bunch. Carter esp. is very humble and a gent.

The last being a father, a mother and their 15 year old daughter … sick stuff you cannibals in NZ don’t see… Henry Tromp did what he did in self defense … no need to go deeper into it all … if you at the rate farmers are murdered in SA you’ll get the answers …. lets go to Robin Brooke shall we … touching and molesting 13 – 15 year old girls … forcing them to have s3x etc …. girls who can’t defend themselves! sick f*ck!!

Giteau practically murdered Du Preez… nothing happened. Sheehan’s massive shoulder charge on Barrett that left him unconscious… unpunished (it was said Sheehan tried to get out of the way, lol). Te many dozens of shoulder charges by $onny Bill… unpunished., in fact, even praised often as showing “great attitude on defence”. I could go on and on.

for the last however many years the all blacks and the kiwi super rugby sides have been getting away with many questionable ‘pratices’… and I use the word deliberately because it is too widespread and consistent to be mere spur-of-the-moment indiscretions.
the most prevalent illegal strategy they use is to ‘over run’ every incident taking out opposition players along the way… for example… they will attempt a tackle and one player will actually tackle the ball carrier…whether it is successful of not, other players will run passed the ball carrier and continue to run for several paces and knock into, knock over, bump, obstruct or otherwise disrupt any other opposition player in the area… all very ‘accidentally’ you see… but what it does is break the continuity of the opposition play because there is no one left to offload to…
a similar strategy it employed at the breakdown where they run passed or over the breakdown point taking out opposition players in the area either waiting to clean out and/or waiting for the ball… this goes way beyond legal clean-outs at the breakdown and results in players several metres away from the breakdown being effectively tackled without the ball… again, all very ‘accidentally’ either way the start of the next phase is thus disrupted and slowed down…
very seldom are these illegal tackles on opposition without the ball penalized… or even recognized…
then there is the kiwi callous, cowardly penchant for shoulder-charging into the unprotected backs, ribs, necks of opposition players in rucks and mauls… usually from the side too… very seldom are these even picked up let alone penalized…
of course we all no about them lying in illegal positions at rucks to prevent the opposition ball coming out… or ‘lazy’ running back onsides… and they are very seldom penalized…
then yesterday’s stormers/highlanders game revealed a ‘new’ illegal strategy of the highlanders which went unrecognized and unpenalised for the whole game… there must have been 6 or 7 incidents in which the highlanders ‘mountaineered’ or trampled all over stormers players on the ground…
yes, it used to be legal if you were in the way… but it is now against the laws… and for so many highlanders to suddenly start raking stormers players makes it clear this was a team decision, probably in the knowledge that they would not be called out for it by the ref…
the reality is that with lyndon bray and paddy o’ instructing refs what to ‘focus on’ their attention is drawn away from the above incidents…
sour grapes…? indeed not… stormers won… but that doesn’t mean these incidents should not be highlighted… but as I said a few weeks ago, the only way to diminish the effect of these tactics is to be so accurate that the ref’s hand is largely forced… or tied behind his back…
carter’s interference yesterday was simply an extension of the above… and he clearly interfered with the bulls player… let’s face it… if he was running ‘in support’ of the ball carrier… he would have cut in-field to receive any pass… and make it impossible for the defender to close them both down… where he was, had he received the ball, the defender would certainly have tackled him…
sadly the end result of the refs being so ineffective is that rugby players will start to dive like soccer players to ensure they do indeed draw the ref’s attention to the incidents… because the players can’t/don’t trust that the ref’s will pick it up…
it really is time to use northern hemisphere refs… and it’s hardly more expensive to fly a pom or irish ref to new Zealand or south Africa than it is to fly southern hemisphere refs to each other’s countries…
8 Apr 2012, 15:00 pm
@houston, we have a problem…(i_love_u_bakkiesbotha)-54: Bakkies has been involved in far less incidents than many supposedly great or clean NZers. So’oialo being a prime example, but so too McCaw, Thorne and Collins. One incident in 2003 by Bakkies, nothing under Jake and only two for the Boks under Peter (one of which was more IRB stupidity).
Now were we talking about Bismarck…. but then the media does not work hard in portraying him as a thug, rather as a poor unloved victim. NZers got more dirty the more PIers they started fielding.

A Rugby World Cup broadcaster was killed after a work bonding session during some rare down-time in the tournament.
Billy Dawson, 34, died in Auckland Hospital on Friday night, about 16 hours after he was punched while enjoying a night out with colleagues preparing for the Rugby World Cup’s quarterfinal weekend.
Christchurch-born but living in Auckland, he was a respected member of Sky TV’s back-room production team, specialising as a replay operator.
His brother-in-law Coen Lammers said Dawson suffered the fatal injuries outside Spy Bar in Auckland’s Viaduct after becoming separated from fellow Sky TV employees, and later died after.
“They had a day off. So they had a barbecue and went into town. They got separated right at the end and that is when it happened … they [Dawson's colleagues] are very cut up about it.”
Auckland police confirmed yesterday that they were treating Dawson’s death as a homicide.
Three men have been charged with assault in relation to the incident, and one man also charged for possession of methamphetamine.
All three men appeared in the Auckland District Court on Friday.

theres so much complicity by the kiwi commentators in how they simply just move right on from such incidents most of the time or just ignore or not even mention it when it happens on screen.
i also notice they are aided by the camera crews quickly moving on from incidents and intentionally choosing not to replay them a lot of the time.
now had it been a saffa transgression on the other hand…boy oh boy….

@Alucard(Alucard)-60:
So bakkies has had 3 incidents in what 12 years you say.
Achievements of Bakkies Botha:
1. Dislocated Adam Jones’ shoulder
2. Almost crushed Shane Williams
3. Headbutted Jimmy Cowan
4. Eye gouged Brendan Cannon
5. Cheapshotted Stirling Mortlock
6.? Slapped rayan kankowski
7. Cheapshotted Gio Aplon
Could go on but i think you seem to have forgotten a few
8 Apr 2012, 15:23 pm
@Hurricane(Hurricane)-74:
Actually, take off that Shane Williams one.
Williams was just monstered
8 Apr 2012, 15:26 pm
@Hurricane(Hurricane)-74:
He’d be a big star in the WWF with a roll of honour like that, what a guy he must be very busy come confession time every Sunday being the man of god that he is.
8 Apr 2012, 15:27 pm
@cane(cane)-70:
no cane, you are the bad guys who cheat your delusional selves out of trouble at every opportunity.
you mention individuals who when they transgressed and did wrong were rightly punished for their actions, full stop. all the people you mention were punished for their actions and payed a penalty and price.
some of them are even punished for doing absolutely nothing wrong a lot of the time.
do you really want me to list all your dirty play incidents?
mcaw’s keeing stuff, remember
thorns pick up from the ground wwe piledriver style spear move, remember
kevvie ‘i didna do it’ mealamu’s headbutts
umaga and kevvie’s spear tackle double act
i can go on and on and on…
8 Apr 2012, 15:27 pm
@cane(cane)-70:
Dingleberry
8 Apr 2012, 15:29 pm
but of course you people are never punished for your filth.
8 Apr 2012, 15:29 pm
@grant10(grant100)-53:
Easy Grantie…………………………………………………………………
easy….
read the other 20 posts before I made mine.
Then castigate all those arrseholes,
And when you finished with them…………………………….start on me.
At that point I will be happy to accept your criticism without rancour or malice.
8 Apr 2012, 15:30 pm
In the small land of marikiwis you play ¡¡¡¡only one sport!!!!! and STILL you need the help of the referees to win.
8 Apr 2012, 15:30 pm
@cane(cane)-70:
why is hansie the most despicable of all..?..
he’s not even a rugby player.
8 Apr 2012, 15:32 pm
Have to say, i didnt like Kieran Reads behaviour, bad captain, bad sportman and bad loser
8 Apr 2012, 15:34 pm
look, the way i see it you have one of two options here….either you clean yourselves up or we will have to do the cleaning up for you….
if you have any honour you will choose to the former.
8 Apr 2012, 15:36 pm
@Markel77(Markel77)-83:
and then, like reechie did in that sweet semi, he cried to the ref about how unfair it was on him and his team even though they were responsible for 85% of the filth on the field during the game…hahaha go figure….
8 Apr 2012, 15:39 pm
@grant10(grant100)-65:
Grantie really……………………………………………..
Lets see now……
” Rugby World Cup broadcaster was killed after a work bonding session during some rare down-time in the tournament”’.’
On this ONE SINGLE DAY IN NZ, a tragedy occurred.
On any single day in SA, how many tragedy’s like this occur.
6?
10?
20?
You tell me.
Smarty Pants.
I know this kind of shiit helps none of the victims.
.
and I should know better.
.
.
But so should you
8 Apr 2012, 15:41 pm
Yeah Houston, i remember our dear Richeat Mccaw.
8 Apr 2012, 15:42 pm
@Markel77(Markel77)-81:
One sport you say?
lol, strange how we have more gold medals than you lot in olympics, in fact we have more medals over all. Not bad for a population of around 4 million. In fact most of those medals were recieved when our population was alot less. Netball, Hockey, Rugby league, rowing world champs etc i could go on and on, but i think you get the idea.
@houston, we have a problem…(i_love_u_bakkiesbotha)-84:
Like Bakkies did the cleaning out on Aplon?
8 Apr 2012, 15:42 pm
ok folks, i have work to do, cheers.
.
.
@cane(cane)-86:
just so you now i do like you caner, as well hurricane, and will never hold what the all blacks do against you guys.
8 Apr 2012, 15:45 pm
@houston, we have a problem…(i_love_u_bakkiesbotha)-85:
85% you say?
OK just leave it cos now you are venturing into the talking rubbish and making things up to make your little crusade sound better. In fact its now failing.
8 Apr 2012, 15:50 pm
Netball? italia, netherlands, Cuba are the best
Hockey? Russia, Sweden and Canada
Rowing what?
What are you talking about? you are nothing in sports
8 Apr 2012, 15:57 pm
@Markel77(Markel77)-91:
lol Netball we have won the owrld Champ 4 times since 1963
OZ have won it 10 times. The countries you have said……… a big fat 0
Hockey, we punch will above our weight like we do in most sports.
Wont explain what rowing is, you should have picked this sort of stuff up in school.
It consisits of water and a floating vessel that hold people and they race.
8 Apr 2012, 15:58 pm
@houston, we have a problem…(i_love_u_bakkiesbotha)-82:
Hansie is the epitome of all that is vile in Sport.
What Adolf was to Politics,
What Assad is to National Reconciliation,
What Roger Whittaker was to popular music,
What the Bulls are to fair play,
What that NY plonker, what’s his name………………Andy Whorehole, was to art.
What Bonnie and Clyde were to Bankers Confidence,
What Global warming is to an ice cube,
And so Hansie will be remembered among Sporting circles.
Without Hansie, Pakistan would stand alone as the most corrupt of all sporting Nations.
But one of Yours had to put his hand up…………………………………………..didn’t he.
One of yours always does.
8 Apr 2012, 16:00 pm
@Markel77(Markel77)-91:
Oh and hockey, Pakistan,netherland and germany are really the best in the world for that sport, once again the countries you mentioned are nowhere, lol Russia.
I know you have the internet as you are blogging on Keo, i suggest surf the net for other stuff,learn about other things. There is more to life on the internet than just Keo and p0rn.
8 Apr 2012, 16:00 pm
@Markel77(Markel77)-91:
“”Netball? italia, netherlands, Cuba are the best”"
You silly sausage.
Are you some kind of drug crazed idiot?
8 Apr 2012, 16:01 pm
@cane(cane)-95:
perhaps you are confusing Netball with Handball?
8)
8 Apr 2012, 16:05 pm
@Alucard(Alucard)-55:
Giteau “murdered” no one.
It was a high ball that both contested.
Once again…………………………….this ain’t tiddly winks.
Giteau was/is a fair player, who plays the ball.
8 Apr 2012, 16:06 pm
Why is everyone complaining? These cheeky filth masters from downunder have many lessons to teach us. We need to cultivate their image if squeeky cleanness while jooking til the cows come home. Look at RWC2011, that was arranged vernekery at the highest levels – our boys need to get sharp and stop crying – ever since that splendid operation with Suzie, our ability for real cunning filth has been dwindling – brycie Lawrence was a fkn deadringer – back to hometown refs.
8 Apr 2012, 16:06 pm
We need the Easter Bunny here
Too much wanger swinging
8 Apr 2012, 16:08 pm
@houston, we have a problem…(i_love_u_bakkiesbotha)-54:
Don’t going being “TOO REASONABLE” Bakkies.
Yuo’ll take all the fun out if it.
8)
8 Apr 2012, 16:09 pm
@cab(cab)-98:
lol you ask the question “Why is everyone complaining?” to only follow that up with complaining.
@Dawn(Dawn)-99:
Easter Bunny has been, i know feel sick. Too much Chocolate
8 Apr 2012, 16:09 pm
@Hurricane(Hurricane)-101:
Know = now
8 Apr 2012, 16:10 pm
Yeah but Dawn someone’s been swinging their wee kiwi wanger in chilli’s eye.
8 Apr 2012, 16:11 pm
¿Netball? joooor i was thinking Volleyball!!!!!
Oh excuse me, what a popular sport, great achievement, congratulations man!!!!
8 Apr 2012, 16:15 pm
Goddamn this is not right ekse – brycie leaves a bad taste in the mouth – who woulda thought that kind of blatant tactic still works – cunning li’l bastardss them kiwis.
8 Apr 2012, 16:16 pm
@Markel77(Markel77)-104:
Thank you.
South Africa play it as well. Just dont do as well as NZ or OZ, a bit like rugby really.
8 Apr 2012, 16:17 pm
No chocolate for me.
Faberge eggs only please.
8 Apr 2012, 16:18 pm
@cab(cab)-105:
it carries on, we felt it in 2007, you know Barnes, ref of the year according to Keo bloggers, that actually handed SA the RWC in 2007.
You will get over it Cab, trust me. 2015 is coming up very quick.
In no time at all, you will be blaming another country and ref and it starts all over again, oh well theres always 2019.
8 Apr 2012, 16:19 pm
¿Any gold medal in field hockey world championships?
8 Apr 2012, 16:21 pm
I’m not sure our kiwi friends should be lecturing us on crowd behaviour.
The despicable nature of some of their crowds have been well documented.
Pathetic really.
Not really suprising that the kiwis would rather sweep their eye gouging under the carpet.
Most of them only have one anyway.
And then you have inbreds like Hurricane suggesting Flip and Chilli gouged each other.
Honestly.
8 Apr 2012, 16:22 pm
Lomu & SBW are responsible for more homeless Cape Town coloured kids than hurricane Katrina
8 Apr 2012, 16:23 pm
Hurricane,
can u say hand on heart in all honesty that brycie blew a fair game in that 1/4 final – I’m convinced there’s a secret academy in nz for passing on subtle techniques on being the best crooks in the game – look at fitzy, cheater mccaw and even brycie – they look like choirboys – yet the greatest cheats in the game bar none. Damn I used to remember watching quick fingers fitzpatrick, I ain’t ever seen anything like it – the man was a god – loki god of deception.
8 Apr 2012, 16:23 pm
@grant10(grant100)-111:
wow thats really funny, i am sure it will get a laugh here,a$$hole
8 Apr 2012, 16:24 pm
@Markel77(Markel77)-81:
Remind me again Markel, how many Medals SA won at the last Olympics.
Let me put it this way,
SA finished behind Togo who won ONE bronze.
We (NZ) finished with 14 medals across a variety sports.
But yeah you are right…………………………………………………like fook you are.
8)
8 Apr 2012, 16:28 pm
@the artist formerly known as gunther(gunther)-110:
Well Gunther, until you have the proof on who gouged who then i can say anything i damn will please, even though it hurts you.
As i have stated on here, if it happened i hope they find the culprit. If no proof then its a no go.
As for the inbred comment, childish at best. Funny if i was a pimply 12 year old.
8 Apr 2012, 16:28 pm
@houston, we have a problem…(i_love_u_bakkiesbotha)-89:
Likewise Houston,
I have no problem.

8 Apr 2012, 16:31 pm
Olimpic medals in what? Curling? Fencing? joooor, once again congratulations man
Any hockey field gold medal? answer please
8 Apr 2012, 16:34 pm
South Africa has world heavyweight champions, fact
South Africa has Augustas masters winners, fact
South Africa has F1 world champion, fact
I could go on and on but you know
8 Apr 2012, 16:35 pm
@cab(cab)-112:
Cab seriously, you want to bring up all those bad memories and sleepless nights again?
8 Apr 2012, 16:36 pm
Come now Hurri.
There was no humour intended there.
Of course you can say anything you please, just don’t be suprised when someone calls you out for what you are.
I’m just glad your caravan’s interweb is working.
8 Apr 2012, 16:37 pm
@Markel77(Markel77)-117:

@Markel77(Markel77)-118:
Wow excellent
Those are 3 really big sports, really makes the country you are i must say.
Really good comparing sporting sucess stories against SA and NZ.
I mean our 4 million compared to over 50 million, that alone must make you proud as well.
But i think you should go on, seen as you said you could
8 Apr 2012, 16:44 pm
Anyway all this fighting on Easter Sunday is unseemly.
Hurri is right. I’m sure one of the Bulls mistook Chilli for a Crusaders player and gouged his eye.
When you say it out loud it sounds perfectly feasible.
Enjoy what’s left of the long weekend my chinas.
8 Apr 2012, 16:48 pm
@the artist formerly known as gunther(gunther)-120:
Thank you Gunther.
Lucky, i was worried that you once again failed to be funny, boy that was close.
This interweb thingy is going good actually.
Mum is outside now churning the butter as we speak, yum nothing like toast with fresh butter.
Anyway i watch rugby in 3D HD and our country is going full digital about 2 years before SA.
Caravans going to have a better picture than your shack, now isnt that funny?
8 Apr 2012, 16:57 pm
@Markel77(Markel77)-118:
Hey Marky,
Surprise, surprise……………………………………….NZ have also won.
- F1 World Champ, Denny Hulme. (1967 I Think).
-Also Bruce McLaren who started Team McLaren, but died testing one of his cars before they won a WC.
Also won:
Le Mans (McLaren and Amon),
Indy 500 (Dixon),
World Speedway (18 or more titles, shared between Briggs, Mauger, Moore),
World 500 cc Motorbike Champs (David Crosbie),
Daytona,
Motor X Champs,
The Can-Am Sports Car Series in the US/Canada, 5 years in row,

Suck Marky ………………suck.

8 Apr 2012, 17:12 pm
Happy Easter all!
This off-field yellow card is way too confusing! It is all i’m reading lately. What does it help as there is no 10 minutes in the sin bin. Is it just a nice to have? Explanations welcome!

@JL1(JL1)-126:

8 Apr 2012, 17:27 pm
@cane(cane)-128: Deep ore extraction – SA has the deepest gold mines in the world – is extremely dangerous and requires a lot of skill.
And if you want to go on about benefits, take a look at the Aborigines. They really benefitted from colonisation too didn’t they, especially the Tasmanians.
8 Apr 2012, 17:27 pm
8 Apr 2012, 17:28 pm
@ashampoopaloo(joel1yahoo)-129: They have to do something or they’ll be reminded they still have the queen as head of state.

@Treehugger(Treehugger)-133: Women do it in different ways, more subtle
8 Apr 2012, 17:32 pm
Dirty Kiwi eye gougers, I reckon there will be some serious sanctions against these cheating Saders
I mean how many times do they fall over he ball to block the ball from coming out
8 Apr 2012, 17:33 pm
Never ! We are perfection personified lol.
8 Apr 2012, 17:33 pm
@JL1(JL1)-131: Yes, their attempt to want to punch after their weight (for their rock to be noticed) results in trying to degrade their main competitor.
8 Apr 2012, 17:34 pm
but mikey…
when women say…
“mine’s a bigger d^ck than yours…”
they’re talking about their husbands… not their husband’s…

8 Apr 2012, 17:38 pm
@Michael(mikeybrass)-138: No wonder they are not celebrating winning the RWC, they know deep down inside that it was all orchestrated for them to get the trophy on their home ground
I used to think they are OK until I saw how many things they do and then try and nail us for doing half… And always pleading their innocence
Kevvy and company spring to mind, Hansen with his little Bullsht stories, the Haka and their so called ownership of the colour black, calling SA racist yet haing the worst racist community in the world
8 Apr 2012, 17:39 pm
@Michael(mikeybrass)-135: I love ow they are carving into the women in the Mail who said she is so attractive
Have you read the article?
8 Apr 2012, 17:41 pm
hmmm….so two bulls players on either side of halftime complained to their captain who informed the ref?
and this leads to kiwi shrugs or denials?
what a surprise.
the kiwis are filthy cheats and the most unsportsmanlike nation playing the game of rugby today, we saffas have had to deal with this for a century.
besides for that, they are individually wonderful people and i hope to travel their wonderful country one day.
its just taht rugby is their blindspot, it makes them completely indifferent to morals or any sense of self.
we must understand this and try to factor it into any consideration we enter into of their habits on the rugby field.
i am being dead serious here.
8 Apr 2012, 17:41 pm
@Michael…. Maybe,sometimes,depends.
8 Apr 2012, 17:47 pm
@Treehugger(Treehugger)-148: Are you known as Samantha Brics?
For those of you who don’t know what happened and why Samantha Brick is making huge waves on the Interweb here’s the story in a nutshell. She wrote a piece for the Daily Mail saying basically and I’m summarising madly that she is so beautiful that other women are sick with jealously and hate her.
8 Apr 2012, 17:49 pm
@JL1(JL1)-146: Yup. I try and avoid the Fail.

8 Apr 2012, 18:11 pm
Yep there some gdam dirty filthmongering crafty wangers around – time we setup an academy otherwise how we gonna compete?
8 Apr 2012, 18:12 pm
@ufo(ufo)-139:
LOL
Funny, very funny.
====================================================
Without video proof, there is not much the citing commisioner can do about the claims by Chilli and Flip. I’m sure that if there was any video evidence of the eye gouging, we would’ve seen it by now on DSTV. I can’t see anything coming of this.
Just like nothing came of the claim of eye gouging by Heinrich Brussow a few years ago when we toured in Europe.
best to just get on with it.
8 Apr 2012, 18:15 pm
@cab(cab)-163: Yes we need an academy
8 Apr 2012, 18:18 pm
@nama1(nama1)-164: and if they find video evidence?
why would you be so blase about it nama?
8 Apr 2012, 18:19 pm
and blackadder DEMANDS an apology if no proof can be found?
a lack of proof does not mean it did not happen so he can get *** k ed.
8 Apr 2012, 18:20 pm
Dam right JL1 – I’m convinced mexteds academy got a section fir gamesmanship and refmanship..brycie blew that vluitjie for 80mins straight with a straight face – disgraceful.
8 Apr 2012, 18:20 pm
@rangerman(rangerman)-166: Ranger, I am with you
May the find so much video evidence that it exposes the cheats for who they are
8 Apr 2012, 18:20 pm
Have googled her and decided I am not her, I am far better looking and she looks dumpy ;-0. She now has competition.
8 Apr 2012, 18:24 pm
@cab(cab)-168: Week 2 for 2 weeks
Fall over the ball and show the ref that you cannot move
Obstruct the kick and chase whilst holding your line
Diving into a ruck without getting noticed
Eye gouge away from cameras
Illegal scrumming the way it was itended for by the Kiwis
Winking at the ref when caught red handed
Cross running to block defenders
Diving in from the side
Playing the ball from the off side position
Facial expressions of innocence on day 14
8 Apr 2012, 18:25 pm
@Treehugger(Treehugger)-170: is that so?
but i know you bunny hugger-ladies. are you well groomed?
p.s. do you hate her cos she is fit?
@JL1(JL1)-169: we must hope they caught it but by now it would have broken if it was available i think.
i have very little doubt there is some basis for the complaints of chili and flip though.
8 Apr 2012, 18:26 pm
Oops seems the lassies are on here now, better clean it up a bit, terrible filth on tge field, mind u we do rule it with piet ‘The Boep’ van zyl and johan ‘The EarNibbler’ le roux, but those are blunt instruments of ignorance competed to the crafty guile of fingers mccaw.
8 Apr 2012, 18:27 pm
@JL1(JL1)-171:
8 Apr 2012, 18:27 pm
@Treehugger(Treehugger)-170: Check out the French husband with the hanging moustache
8 Apr 2012, 18:29 pm
@JL1(JL1)-175: ag she is not very hot imo but its cool if she is confident i suppose, he looks like a serial killer though.
8 Apr 2012, 18:40 pm
@Rangerman… No, am fat and lardy, don’t brush teeth or wash hair, only wear hemp clothing and what I don’t wear I smoke. Oh and if I want to try look a a bit pretty a bit of camo stuff (mud and charcol) will do in a pinch, oh and no waxing of body hairs, have a couple of chin hairs but they make me look earthy so I am divine to my creatures.
@JL1….. I saw, they both actually ridiculous.
8 Apr 2012, 18:43 pm
@Dawn(Dawn)-161:
You’re just jealous.
@rangerman(rangerman)-166:
That’s what we should be waiting for. In fact, the Bulls management should themselves actively look for video evidence and present it to the commisioner. In the absence of any evidence for such serious allegations WE are looking like the fools here.
There are minimum sanctions for eye gouging if a player is found guilty of that. In case of any evidence being found, the guilty party should be punished as such.
What do you mean I’m blase about it? Don’t you think if there was any proof of the incidents that it would’ve been all over our TV screen by now?
8 Apr 2012, 18:46 pm
@JL1(JL1)-171:
You forgot to big ones
Hands in the ruck
Playing the ball on the ground (RM)
8 Apr 2012, 18:50 pm
@nama1(nama1)-178:
Sometimes the TV angles dont show some things and in this case may not
It does not take away the fact 2 Bulls players said it happened
So I guess its their word against the Bulls players
No one was injured ( as I understand) so both teams need to move on
8 Apr 2012, 18:52 pm
@nama1(nama1)-178:
I’ll be surprised if they find any such a video, it’s not the Saders’ style
It’s more of Fitzpatrick-Ranger-Tipoki-Nonu style, or Bakkie of course
I suspect some Pro Legota’s involvement in falsified the story to Peoper
Same as last year
8 Apr 2012, 18:59 pm
Rangerman, bunnyhuggers I know and associate with and well groomed ex kugel partygirls that are mostly married to professional men, they swill champagne at my place at least 3 X a week and we exchange notes. Some are rescuers and some have sancturies, my place is the meeting spot as I will have the largest and best sanctuary in Natal and I am central to every one. They all know me from other stuff before I decided to calm down and start this project which is almost complete. Actually it should be finished by now but builders do there own thing and don’t pitch all the time. Am not a fatty am a lean mean blond fighting machine lol, normally wear my hair in a plait or 2 plaits to keep it out the way when doing things outside or dealing with an animals. Looks wise, I am ok, did a bit of modeling when I was younger but am now a lot older, looks are in the eye of the beholder to some I may be fugly and to others not so fugly. Don’t know why people have this impression treehuggers are weirdos, oh and I am also a recent vegetarian, bout 6 months now.
8 Apr 2012, 19:00 pm
@rangerman(rangerman)-167:
The problem is that a lack of proof means that no action can be taken.
If there was indeed some eye gouging that took place, and I have no reason to believe that Chilliboy and Flip would make it up, the citing commisioner will need proof to charge the guilty player. The fact that they alerted Spies about it during the match suggests to me that something untoward did take place. However I would like you to think back bout the HB incident a couple of years ago. Although there was proof that somebody scratched him around his eye, (photo) the citing commisioner could not act against a player because there was no video evidence on the culprit hence nobody could be charged.
8 Apr 2012, 19:02 pm
@Hondo(Hondo)-181: Was it ever proven on video that Bakkies eye gouged Cannon? I am asking this because as far as I can remember it was not. Yet his track record started there.(honest question)
8 Apr 2012, 19:05 pm
@CoachPete(CoachPete)-180:
Flip has some reputation preceding him, like Dad Flippie or Bro the ‘Dentist’
Could be some retaliation involved which I doubt, but Chiliboi’s case sound a fabrication to me, he is not a dirty player and his involvements in rucks is minimal, there is nothing to instigate such a despicable act from a clean team like the Crusaders against him?
8 Apr 2012, 19:06 pm
@CoachPete(CoachPete)-180:
Most unions have their own camera teams to record their matches for analysis purposes and such. So there would be plent film material available to look for proof, from their own sources and that of the broadcaster.
All I’m saying that bleating about this without proper proof, will not bring us anywhere except making us look like a bunch of whinging fools.
8 Apr 2012, 19:10 pm
@optiplay(optiplay)-184:
No it wasn’t, his fingers never shown in full contact with the eye as far as I can recall
But he did bitten away a chunk of Brendon Cannon’s shoulder flush, that one was shown in full
8 Apr 2012, 19:12 pm
@CoachPete(CoachPete)-179: That is after course work, only once you completed the modules on cheating the Kiwi way can you venture down the post graduate qualification
8 Apr 2012, 19:15 pm
@Hondo(Hondo)-185:
As i said if no proof of Video or even physical evidence then its he said said she said.
I dont think the crusaders are a dirty team either.
So what i am saying is Give me proof or move on
8 Apr 2012, 19:17 pm
@nama1(nama1)-186:
The procedure is that the Captain has to tell the referee straight away and makes the referee inspecting the injured eye/eye socket
I cannot recall that happened yesterday, have you seen Spie talks to the referee in real time?
8 Apr 2012, 19:17 pm
@JL1(JL1)-188:
let me clarify my position
The crusaders IMO are not a dirty team but they sometimes cheat
8 Apr 2012, 19:19 pm
@CoachPete(CoachPete)-191: Yep, they have been known not to be dirty, but cheating is they fortè
8 Apr 2012, 19:26 pm
@CoachPete(CoachPete)-189:
When Leicester scrumhalf Du Pui did his act, the whole stadium saw it on the big screen time and again and instantly, not yesterday though
8 Apr 2012, 19:29 pm
@CoachPete(CoachPete)-189:
“So what i am saying is Give me proof or move on”
What I’ve said in the beginning. (p164)
@Hondo(Hondo)-190:
“Chiliboy Ralepelle and Flip van der Merwe reported incidents to referee Jaco Peyper, who issued white cards and a citing commissioner will now investigate the allegations.”
I’ve seen Spies talk to the ref a few times. Obviously I couldn’t hear what they were talking about on every occasion. I can’t recall seeing Peyper inspecting the eye sockets of the two players but the fact that he issued a white card suggests that he must have been concerned about the allegations.
8 Apr 2012, 19:29 pm
@Hondo(Hondo)-193:
And he is a frenchman?
8 Apr 2012, 19:30 pm
@nama1(nama1)-194:
I saw that and basically agreeing with you
8 Apr 2012, 19:37 pm
@nama1(nama1)-194:
See usually there is eye damage so if no eye injuries or damage
and no video proof then its History

8 Apr 2012, 20:04 pm

Trans you should read her article!
8 Apr 2012, 21:01 pm
I had to go and google Samantha Brick. Was she model? For pampers or selling insurance in nappies. Not recently. I think her husband is shorter than her
8 Apr 2012, 21:03 pm
Does her husband look a bit like Vernon Koekemoer?
8 Apr 2012, 21:16 pm

Still standing.
8 Apr 2012, 22:31 pm
Please spare me the details, show some class. I remember how you reacted when bloggers were talking about you.
8 Apr 2012, 22:32 pm
@Viewer….. Maybe I can help a little, I recently got a BB and have found you need to download the Opera 6 point something browser, then in the settings, put it in single column and you will be able to browse keo and whatever with ease, the sending through comments takes forever though.
Am rubbish at this techie stuff and there might be another way but give it a bash.
8 Apr 2012, 22:56 pm
Of course they are going to deny it!! I mean FFS what’s he gonna say…”Yup, my boys did that”? Jeez, he is now hoping like hell they can’t find video evidence.
And the sanctimoniuos doos, wants an appology if they cant’t prove it. Get a faaking life ……….
Anyone else wonder if Pollock has a problem picking up movement at the scrums? How many times did the “landers go early at the scrums without getting called up?
Pathetic refing to be fair

I have more class in my little finger than you have in your whole little wanger body.
Now go do something constructive.
You wasting bandwidth.
8 Apr 2012, 23:21 pm
Yes you’re very classy, its not like you’re shallow and insult people about their looks on a rugby blog and looking for approval from men.
Don’t worry about my bandwidth, its uncapped.
Now go to bed, its past your bedtime.
8 Apr 2012, 23:26 pm
@ tree Thanks!
@ whatever
I saw nothing suggesting eye gouging.At best it could have been accidental.I think what todd blackadder means is that players shouldn’t throw wild accusations about.if gouging is proven I have 2 ‘saders players as suspects based on their on field body language throughout the match.mind you I was sitting 60 metres from the field.one is a flanker and the other is a prop.
8 Apr 2012, 23:31 pm
jeezus is that ugly wench supposed to be pretty .. pity the poor froggy that married such a self obsessed battle ax .. rather him than me
blondes really gotta be extraordinary beautiful otherwise they turn out kinda ugly
unlike dark chicks who are beautiful whatever their features portray .. must be something in the lack of genetic metabolism that shows up in pale face saxon girls who don’t have enough chromosomes feeding their regenerative organs or something, maybe the Caucasian originated from some planet in another galaxy and can’t get enough sustenance into their alienated blood stream on this earthly planet… let the scientists disprove it.. who else the fark knows who it all came to pass.
8 Apr 2012, 23:37 pm
@ashampoopaloo(joel1yahoo)-226:
you are deranged you old pervert lmao!
8 Apr 2012, 23:41 pm
@224…… So what….she is in the public eye and is getting nailed in the Pom press for what she said and if you have a look she is not all that like she thinks she is. A very obvious attention seeker, and she is now getting what she wants. She is seriously not great looking.
8 Apr 2012, 23:47 pm
women can be extraordinary beautiful .. but they gotta have some real earth mother attributes otherwise they just will o the wispy fairy godmothers from some other far off planet .. I mean ask Zeus and Apollo how beautiful earth women are.. .. they ain’t these light skinned fair headed dandelions that you can blow into orbit like a puff of smoke in the air.. this Brick chick is as ugly as her second name suggests.. thick as two bricks is that battle ax.. and as appealing as a couple of bricks just the same.
8 Apr 2012, 23:53 pm
@ tree,
That’s fine but I’m referring to dawns’ double standards. I’m sure this brick lady next article won’t be threatening people with defamation law suit and criminal action.
If people want to give criticism then they should be able to take it as well.
8 Apr 2012, 23:53 pm
I went to see the Disneyland version of Edgar Rice Burroughs classic ‘a princess from Mars’ called ‘John Carter’ . Now that princess was exceptionally beautiful.. and she weren’t blond she was all full blooded red skin Brunette .. at least Disneyland knows what a true Martian princess supposed to look like.
8 Apr 2012, 23:53 pm
@Treehugger(Treehugger)-228: hope we still friends hugsy?
you know i was only joking about the personal grooming right?
8 Apr 2012, 23:58 pm
@ashampoopaloo(joel1yahoo)-231: uhm…you think the red hair and red planet had been used as a convenient link?
but now i am confused, is it redheads that come from outer space or just blondes?
what about blond haired girls with brown eyes or blue eyed girls with dark hair like you get in kashmir after alkexander the great and his merry band of blondes shagged their way across asia?
its a long way to travel for a roll in the hay if you ask me. no, not macedonia to pakistan, outer space to macedonia to pakistan with a bit of overseeing at the pyramids in egypt and guatemala thrown in.
but i suppose have spaceship will travel applied back then just as now.
9 Apr 2012, 00:08 am
dunno where the red hair originated from.. but the inter galactic travel theory definitely got some merit.. where the fark did Zeus and Apollo come from and impregnate all the local earthly lassies with their godly seed? Nasa and plenty authorities got enough evidence of some close encounters of other kinds in their archives of ufo sightings and material…
why would they call white skinned people Caucasians cause they come from the Caucuses, where the first Aryan races were supposed to manifest, who knows perhaps Zeus and his cronies came here from outa space and started all this inter galactic inter racial interbreeding and now we got such a hotchpotch of mixed genetic bloodlines and cultures nobody knows the earthlings from the aliens anymore…
All I know is I prefer earthly women and not those ‘other worldly’ kind…
9 Apr 2012, 00:11 am
Come on Louis. Hold your nerve man!
9 Apr 2012, 00:14 am
@ashampoopaloo(joel1yahoo)-234: The genetics for the blond hair – blue eye combo is said to originate from Denmark; red hair from Scotland, though it can probably be traced further back to Western European Neanderthals.
9 Apr 2012, 00:14 am
Louis at 10-. Come on!!!!!!!!!
9 Apr 2012, 00:14 am
Louis Louis.
9 Apr 2012, 00:15 am
Birdie for our boy, Louis.
One shot ahead with three holes to play.
Come on Louis. You can do it.
9 Apr 2012, 00:19 am
So, we are all watching the golf!!
9 Apr 2012, 00:20 am
Things are heating up at Augusta.
Great shot by Bubba.
9 Apr 2012, 00:21 am
Come now Louis.
We can’t lose to someone named Bubba.
9 Apr 2012, 00:22 am
That Bubba is a pain in the neck, like an annoying whasp you can’t get rid of.
9 Apr 2012, 00:22 am
I think perhaps the red hair comes from mixed chromosomes between the Dravidian and the Aryan offshoots of the Caucasian races
And if we are to believe Darwin then all humans were originally descendants from the great Apies of the African planes.. but then Darwin don’t know half of wtf been going down through human or universal or intergalactic history.. wtf does the poor dumbfounded scientist know about where he originated and where he did not?
A 1989 article in Scientific American by Colin Renfrew classifies the Dravidian race, along with the Semitic race and the Aryan race, as the three major subdivisions that emerged from the Proto-Caucasian race, which he states separated into the aforementioned three groups about 9,000 BCE after migrating from North Africa—-
the Semitics (i.e., Proto-Semitics) establishing themselves in and radiating from Jericho, the Aryans (i.e., Proto-Indo-Europeans) establishing themselves in and radiating from Catal Huyuk, and the Dravidians (i.e., Proto-Dravidians) establishing themselves in and radiating from what is now southern Iran.[18]
In the early twentieth century, Carleton Coon argued that the “Caucasoid race” is of dual origin, consisting of Upper Paleolithic (mixture of H. sapiens and neanderthalensis) types and Mediterranean (purely H. sapiens) types. He repeated his theory in his 1962 book The Origin of Races.

9 Apr 2012, 00:25 am
crikey bloody Moses golf is about as exciting as skittle sticks – only a bunch of red haired mongoloids from the north shores of Britannica could have come up with a sporting code where you try hit a little ball made from wound up elastic into a hole about 500 yards away and walk after it in search of some dumbfounded vainglory… and the money moguls go befok bananas after this code of absolute abject brainless insanity…
9 Apr 2012, 00:27 am
@ashampoopaloo(joel1yahoo)-231:
that was one sexy bladdy tweety bird that…yukkel stukkel where she from.
9 Apr 2012, 00:28 am
Vokkit Louis.
That was your chance after Bubba’s t-shot.
Keep your nerves man.
9 Apr 2012, 00:28 am
@ashampoopaloo(joel1yahoo)-244: No one pays attention to Coon these days, though yes admixture is acknowledged by many scholars between Neanderthals and **** sapiens sapiens (in the Levant). Colin’s article is widely regarded as invalid, including by himself. I have met Colin a few times. There is so much mix and matching going on.
Dravidian & Aryan were conceived as linguistic, not ethnic, groupings originally btw.
Don’t get me wrong. I appreciate that you are grappling with various pieces of literature and your own ideas.
The bit of info I mentioned on the genetics comes from a book I have upstairs written by Steve Jones, the UCL geneticist.
9 Apr 2012, 00:28 am
Oh no.
9 Apr 2012, 00:30 am
I dunno who brought that dumb Brick wench into the discussion here but one look at that thick as a brick lump of ugliness is enough to drive any man as far away from such female specimens forever.. he might even choose total celibacy ahead of coming within 100 mts of such antithesis of feminine beauty.. and that ugly wench even has the gall to think she’s in any way attractive.. she gotta go to the cuckoos nest for evaluation that one.
9 Apr 2012, 00:32 am
@ashampoopaloo(joel1yahoo)-252: I couldn’t have said it more eloquently.
9 Apr 2012, 00:32 am

9 Apr 2012, 00:35 am
@cab(cab)-254: You don’t say. I see some creations on the bus that if you don’t accept the fact of evolution would certainly change your mind on genetic variation…
9 Apr 2012, 00:37 am
Unlucky Bubba. Lucky Oostie!
9 Apr 2012, 00:38 am
@Michael(mikeybrass)-255:

9 Apr 2012, 00:38 am
Louis’ caddie’s name is Dutchie? Flip, you couldn’t make it up.
Bubba and Dutchie.
9 Apr 2012, 00:38 am
Lynn Collins is the chicky who acts the Martian princess in Disneylands take of E R Burroughs classic in the movie ‘John Carter’
I thought she was British from her accent in the movie but apparently she’s a mix of Irish, Scottish and Cherokee Indian descent which explains her beauty.. its mixed blood that creates the beauty with the admixture of the Cherokee Indian being the dominant factor… not so?
Which corroborates my theory that true blooded beauty is from the hot blooded regions of the ethnic core of human ancestry.. not from those pale offshoots where all the life got drained out of the genetic origin.
9 Apr 2012, 00:40 am
@cab(cab)-257: The Fail, the Sun… It’s incredible eh
9 Apr 2012, 00:41 am
@ashampoopaloo(joel1yahoo)-259: Check out Mediterranean and iranian women for true beauty too.

9 Apr 2012, 00:48 am
Boris vs Ken. You couldn’t make it up.
9 Apr 2012, 00:48 am
All women can be, and are, invariably beautiful.. but those from regions where races have mixed are usually the most beautiful.. Venezuelan and Brazilian women, Iranian women, Indian women, all Latin country women where the blood lines of Africa, Southern Europe and American Indian ancestry have coagulated together, and wherever you have racial interbreeding. that’s where the most beautiful human female specimens are invariably found.
9 Apr 2012, 00:51 am

9 Apr 2012, 01:01 am
I seen some exceptionally beautiful women of all races in my time… in India, in the middle east, in Europe, in Italy, in the far east, and in Africa.. all over the goddamn planet there are beauties to blow a man’s brain to smithereens.. I once met a Mexican girl while travelling in India.. if I weren’t married then I was gonna follow her to Mexico for sure
So I dunno who’s trick of nature it was to implant such exceptionally enticing attractive beauty all over the g’damn globe.. but whoever decided that this was the way to promote propagation of the human species by keeping man tied to the sensual attraction of feminine beauty, they sure as hell made a good job of the exercise .. hook line and sinker, caught and trapped without a hope in hell of ever getting free of the captivating malady.. till we get buried in the grave .. and start the reproductive procedure all over again next time around, till eternity.. whether on this little spinning orb planet or some place else.

Fredericks ran a 19.68 in Atlanta which would have shattered the old WR
Johnson ran a 19.32 or something for the same race
and Bolt has run 19.30 in Beijing 2008 and 19.19 at IAAF champs Berlin 2009

9 Apr 2012, 01:24 am
Now or never…
9 Apr 2012, 01:25 am
yeah but johnson run smashed the record and compeition at the time and that style was just goddamn unbeatable. that was just one in a million, i rank it up there with ali in the jungle and the Boks winning in 95 and 07…
9 Apr 2012, 01:25 am
Man!
9 Apr 2012, 01:26 am
Bubba looks like a #11 in cricket…wonder if he can bowl?
9 Apr 2012, 01:27 am
Great shot Bubba
9 Apr 2012, 01:27 am
what a recovery from bubba.
9 Apr 2012, 01:28 am
bubba sounds like a redneck hillbilly southern baptist type…run bubba run.
9 Apr 2012, 01:29 am
Annoying little bugger
Come on Louis.
9 Apr 2012, 01:29 am
Brilliant shot by Bubba. Probably game, set, match.
Well done Louis. Hope you get it the next time.
At least we’ll probably have two players in the top 10 when they release the rankings tomorrow.
9 Apr 2012, 01:29 am
Oh well, close but no cigar…
9 Apr 2012, 01:30 am
check these okes on a rugby site going ooh and aah and baah and boo over a goddamn little ball missing a hole in a Yankee doodle dandy tee off to Valhalla
golf sucks almost as much as skittle sticks.. wtf anyone going balls to the wall ballistic about a goddamn tiny little ball missing a 3″ hole ?
9 Apr 2012, 01:31 am
Louis looked very composed in the back 9 but faltered at the end and seem to have carried it into the play-off…always next time!
9 Apr 2012, 01:33 am
Yeah but it does not suck even half as much as you skoppelos!
9 Apr 2012, 01:33 am
gutted for louis but well done bubba.
9 Apr 2012, 01:33 am
So near and yet so far.
Hard luck. That was another putt which looked like it was going in.
9 Apr 2012, 01:34 am
is the masters the big one insofar as golf is concerned, where they get the green jacket?
they dont have the characters in the old days, daly, norman, ballesteros, etc.
9 Apr 2012, 01:35 am
@cab(cab)-322: Yes
Good night all.
9 Apr 2012, 01:36 am
Cheers Mickey
9 Apr 2012, 01:37 am
@cab(cab)-280:
Sorry to spoil your fun, man.
9 Apr 2012, 01:38 am
Bolt ran his 19.19 into a -0.3 headwind while Johnson and Fredericks ran ahead of a +0.4 following wind which makes Bolts 19.19 pretty remarkable
Perhaps one the most underrated WR’s in sprinting is Pietro Mennea of Italy 19.72 run as far back as 1979 when sub 20 sec 200 mts were a rare occurrence..
Johnson’s 19.32 was a milestone time for sure, nobody thought it would be beat in another 50 years until Bolt came along and smashed it less than 15 years later
19.19 ?0.3 Usain Bolt Jamaica 20 August 2009 Berlin
19.26 +0.7 Yohan Blake Jamaica 16 September 2011 Brussels
19.32 +0.4 Michael Johnson United States 1 August 1996 Atlanta
19.53 +0.7 Walter Dix United States 16 September 2011 Brussels
19.58 +1.3 Tyson *** United States 30 May 2009 New York City
19.63 +0.4 Xavier Carter United States 11 July 2006 Lausanne

@Michael(mikeybrass)-323:
cheers mikey
not sure who the last saffa to win that was, dont think els has won it, must be gary player, all the old baalies used to proclaim the famous ‘the more i practice the luckier i get’ gem.
9 Apr 2012, 01:38 am
great interview there from louis.you are a great sportsman sir!
9 Apr 2012, 01:39 am
Well done Bubba Gump….
Louis’ got what it takes for lots of majors in the future. Mossel Bay will be proud.
9 Apr 2012, 01:40 am
@nama1(nama1)-325:
no worries, better hit the sack too, feed this goddamn poodle mutt who crapping left right and centre..night.
9 Apr 2012, 01:43 am
I find it hard to believe any Saders player intentionally target eyes.
Maybe if it was Cheifs or Blues But not Saders
9 Apr 2012, 01:47 am
naah golf ain’t much of a sport as much as chess or tiddlywinks ain’t.. these okes get paid mega billions to hit a tiny ball of elastic around a man made paradise..
it may take some nerves and some skill but it ain’t nearly in the same league as some proper sports where you have to put some serious athletic energy into achieving a result… kak sport golf.. hardly a sport at all.. should be relegated to its proper place which is like a pleasant extra mural pastime…like bowls or croquet or archery.. that’s about where golf fits in in the sporting world
9 Apr 2012, 01:49 am
There was no eye gouging, Bulls players lied to try and unsettle the Crusaders, karma for the Bulls this year they won’t win the title because of their cheating.
9 Apr 2012, 01:50 am
I also find it hard to believe Saders would intently go for an eye gouge, don’t sound right somehow.., ain’t their style.
9 Apr 2012, 01:58 am
@cab(cab)-327:
Hehehe Charl Schwartzel won it last year!
9 Apr 2012, 02:07 am
@ashampoopaloo(joel1yahoo)-334:
No eye gouging in 16 years from the Crusaders now two in one match, Bulls players lied they should be ashamed.
9 Apr 2012, 02:07 am
I find it hard to believe that people believe that the Crusaders won’t do something illegal, I assume you actually mean doing something AND getting caught!
These are the same team that uses every single illegal tactic know to man to get one over the opposition in any given 80 minutes. Their ruck and maul shenanigans alone are to many to mention…
9 Apr 2012, 02:09 am
@Slartibartfast(Slartibartfast)-337:
There was no case to answer the video evidence proved that, the Bulls players lied.
9 Apr 2012, 02:35 am
@greentea(greentea)-338:
Oh so you saying they got away with it again?
9 Apr 2012, 02:47 am
@Slartibartfast(Slartibartfast)-339:
You know what I’m saying, eye gouging is not part of the Crusaders game and never will be the video evidence clearly showed that. Nothing would surprise me from that rugby franchise though having been to a game at Pretoria and initially mistaking it for a neo Nazi rally and then having to endure the braai afterwards where the main topic was guns and home defense, the vibe is just awful so lying to win wouldn’t surprise me and would probably be condoned by their fans as it was with that halfwit Botha whose thuggery was encouraged by the Loftus fans.
9 Apr 2012, 02:50 am
@greentea(greentea)-338: Neither with Bakkies. Yet you guys keep on mentioning that.I mean, Kevin Meeulamu’s head butt was not intended . It was meant for the player behind the one he hit. All semantics.@Slartibartfast(Slartibartfast)-339: Agree!!
9 Apr 2012, 02:54 am
@optiplay(optiplay)-341:
Unfortunately Kev’s headbutt was intentional Moody had been gobbing off all day still doesn’t excuse it , fact – Botha and Corne Kriger are / were the two dirtiest payers of the modern error.
9 Apr 2012, 02:56 am
@greentea(greentea)-340: Throwing the Nazi word shows me how much you really know about the Bulls and their supporters. I know a lot of Bulls supporters .First of all, they know a lot more about the game than you do.(I doubt you ever played any meaningful rugby)Second the Braais you mentioning are actually a Sharks phenomenon(of which I am a part of).
9 Apr 2012, 03:00 am
@optiplay(optiplay)-343: IS ,ARE I am not sure.
9 Apr 2012, 03:00 am
@optiplay(optiplay)-343:
It was a home braai in a suburb of Pretoria, cmon mate the average white man from Pretoria hates blacks and packs a piece, this was a while ago so it might have changed but I doubt it.
9 Apr 2012, 03:06 am
@greentea(greentea)-340:
What video evidence are you talking about? What I am saying is that when it comes to the most cynical team in the competition I won’t label them squeaky clean like some on here.
9 Apr 2012, 03:07 am
I have to go, Bulls hang yor heads in shame.
9 Apr 2012, 03:07 am
@greentea(greentea)-345: You moving in the wrong circles mate.I lived in Pretoria for 14 years.I had a good time . Nothing of this K*K you are mentioning.The crowd you are talking about you will find in every big city. Including yours.
9 Apr 2012, 03:08 am
@Slartibartfast(Slartibartfast)-346:
Sure they aren’t squeaky clean but accusing two of their players of trying to blind people is disgusting – goodbye.
9 Apr 2012, 03:18 am
@greentea(greentea)-349:
What video evidence?
9 Apr 2012, 04:22 am
I was having a drink at a south auckland rugby club after a local game that the local team had lost and all i heard there was how useless the dumb coconuts were and black pricks were.As soon as one of those dumb coconuts came over the back stabbing yellow bellied snivelling little kiwi male was patting him on the back and as soon as he walked away there vile ways would start again.So what ever bbq greentea was at i have experienced similar attitudes in the great nz.Also just because there is no evidence does not mean the crime was not committed.I dont see chilliboy as a liar either,so maybe some of the crusaders are just plain lucky and have got away with the crime.
9 Apr 2012, 04:30 am
@slavedriver(slavedriver)-351:
But you see how their minds work?
1. It is a Crusader so he must be wrongly accused because angels that they are will never do it.
2. If it is a Bull player doing the accusing the lying, dirty scoundrel must be making it up.
Ahh the way some people see the world.
9 Apr 2012, 04:34 am
We see it after every game
9 Apr 2012, 04:56 am
@slavedriver(slavedriver)-353:
None more than with this…
“Everyone knows that if Kevvy said he didn’t do it, he didn’t do it,”
Check out the whole article and you see they using the same tactics that worked for them back then…
http://www.smh.com.au/rugby-union/union-news/all-blacks-hypocrites-over-keven-mealamu-ban-20101111-17ot2.html
Little angel!
9 Apr 2012, 05:10 am
Yes,good article.Maybe a few more of the precious little kiwi males need to read it.
9 Apr 2012, 06:02 am
@slavedriver(slavedriver)-351:
I doubt you could compare the two we have always allowed “coconuts” as you say to share the same toilet and sit at the front of the bus but if it makes you feel better, we also don’t feed our natives to lions but if you have a problem with whats happening in NZ you know where the airport in South Auckland is you should consider using it.
9 Apr 2012, 06:15 am
Hahaha the moment you start comparing your own shortcomings to another to show you better is the moment you should stop all together.
But humor me, why can’t we compare the two current examples in front of us Both were after a rugby game and around a few beers…
As for the ‘if you don’t like it, go home’ line, it is very lame and insular and another sign of running out of excuses…
9 Apr 2012, 06:23 am
I can compare the two as i just have.Just to correct you I DID NOT SAY,i was telling it as it was said.While you are sitting there throwing stones,patting yourself on your back thinking you are ever so self righteous,the treatment of the Maori has not exactly been exemplary has it.But the way you glossed over the way people speak about the islanders and maori obviously makes you think it is fine as apparently it is not quite the same.Good on you.And believe me i used that airport a log time ago,thank god.
9 Apr 2012, 06:52 am
@slavedriver(slavedriver)-358:
Precious lot slave, if it does not fit the agenda they don’t want to talk about it.
9 Apr 2012, 07:31 am
@greentea(greentea)-356: Exactly how many nights did you spend in Pretoria??.Still have not answered the NAZI line.(but then again you can’t)
9 Apr 2012, 07:57 am
@slavedriver(slavedriver)-358:
Oh and i believe this did happen.
It is a shame really, no one cant say this sort of thing does not happen in NZ cos it does. It happens everywhere.
What i find intriginbg is normally the first stone thorwn on this is a South African. On here we have about the murders in NZ, bought up by a South African blogger. He pulled out 1 murder out of the paper that happened 4 – 5 months ago and says how bad it is over here. seems a bit odd see as SA average between 37 murders a day. Some people.
Anyway i am a Maori and you said we havnt been treated correctly etc, or there abouts.
Personally i would rather be a Maori in NZ that a Black in SA. And i am sure you would agree.
Good to see you visited our lovely country, at least you have a little bit of knowledge about NZ unlike half the fools in here that have a crack at NZ yet are still suckling on mummy teats.
9 Apr 2012, 08:06 am
why would chili and flipp say they were gouged if they were not…? chili certainly has never been involved in anything untoward… but even if he had… it defies logic to invent things with all the cameras around…
what I find revealing is todd blackadder’s reaction… completely OTT IMO… he clearly thinks that bulls players (and probably south african players in general) are not ‘men of integrity’ and implies they are dishonest to even report foul play… by demanding an apology, before the fact, he is actually calling them liars… which i find offensive…
so blackadder is saying no south African dare report anything untoward simply because his team are ‘men if integrity’…?? They never make mistakes…? Never get caught up in the heat of the moment…?
get off the high horse and don’t take yourself so seriously tottie…
thing is… things happen in games… possibly by mistake… but the scrapes on flipp’s face certainly looked suspicious to me… seemed to be no swelling, so hardly the result of a knock of some sort…
also find it offensive that the siting commissioner also casts aspersions on the character of the bulls players and organisation by referring to the deadline… if they couldn’t find video evidence how could they submit anything…? but as far as I’m aware the commissioners job is to hand out the finding’s and sentence etc… not to weigh in with personal opinions about the case…
if I was the bulls, I would lodge a complaint against the commissioner…
9 Apr 2012, 08:13 am
@Hurricane(Hurricane)-361:
Morning.
Please tell your keewee mates that SA has 150 000 registred golfers.That means they belong to clubs and play regulary,golf is not a cheap sport in SA by any stretch of the imagination.
I just wanted to put a number tothis so they know the exact facts.
Bad luck Louis,and congrats to Bubba.Well deserved and it was a great couple of final holes by both.
9 Apr 2012, 08:13 am
@ufo(ufo)-362:
Commissioner found no evidence.
What would a complaint from the bulls do?
Blackadder should reallt be quiet and just carry on trying to get his team into winnig form again.
All this off field stuff is a setup, to put the Saders of their game.
9 Apr 2012, 08:14 am
@ufo(ufo)-362:
Uhmm as for the deadline, a white card was issued during the game which, if I am not mistaken, means it will be looked at. Why then should the Bulls submit anything on top of that?
9 Apr 2012, 08:17 am
@Fern is not a stud,he is merely no19(Fern)-363:
hey freny, well do.

9 Apr 2012, 08:24 am
Glad the boys have been cleared.Blackadder should not be an idiot now ,expecting an apology and all….ffs he isn’t a saffa white male man !!
9 Apr 2012, 08:25 am
South Africa won the Tiddlywinks World Cup in 1865, and were the world champions at Putting Things On Top Of Other Things for 5 years in a row in the 1930s.
9 Apr 2012, 08:26 am
I suspect this was all a ploy from the bulls.
2 incidents involving 2 players and both unsubstantiated, in this day and age?
Highly unlikely. A disgraceful, underhanded tactic on the part of the bulls.
9 Apr 2012, 08:27 am
i just can’t see any player… saffa, kiwi, aus or anyone… making up stuff during a game… who’s mind, in the heat of battle, thinks… “okay let me falsely accuse the opposition of something… and hope miraculously that they find some coincidental video footage which could suggest something happened…?”
come on…?
@Hurricane(Hurricane)-364:
i’m talking of complaining about the commissioner’s editorialising… he should simply hand out the findings… not offer personal opinions…
agree… blackadder should not make such comments…just say we will comment when the finding is out… it’s “almost” as bad as pdivvie defending burger’s gouging…
hehehe…
the stormers should have paid the bulls more… so that evidence would have been found…!!
@Slartibartfast(Slartibartfast)-365:
that’s what i thought too… but with the commissioners comments made me think i had somehow misunderstood the process… the white card means the citing commissioner/committee investigate the incidents independently of submissions from the teams…
9 Apr 2012, 08:33 am
Keep it coming Zub!
9 Apr 2012, 08:39 am
@Vetkoek(Vetkoek)-369: Have you seen Flip’s eye?
No one makes this up
Filthy Kiwi payers, end off!
9 Apr 2012, 08:39 am
Lack of evidence can sometimes be a killer in any sport.Let’s all move on now.Blackadder should now concentrate on the Stormers because that game will be massive.
9 Apr 2012, 08:44 am
@Hurricane(Hurricane)-366:
Why your golfer’s so shite then?
9 Apr 2012, 08:45 am
No matter. There’s no evidence,
Oh Wait. there’s testimony from 2 separate players,
Todd can stick his apology in his eye.
9 Apr 2012, 08:50 am
well, if there’s no evidence then everyone should move on.
only those who started crowing will feel the need to ***** & moan.
9 Apr 2012, 08:52 am
As i understand, the white card automatically goes on review,so why is it necessary for the bulls to report the said incidents inside 4 hours.In my opinion the citing commissioner is a bit out of line here with that comment.
9 Apr 2012, 09:05 am
All I know is that after a dismal start to this year’s superbru predictions. I have rebounded and am in the global top 10% and the top 20 in the Keo pool.
In spite of 2 looses in the first 2 games of the weekend.
9 Apr 2012, 09:06 am
Check the eye
http://www.sportlive.co.za/rugby/superrugby/2012/04/08/crusaders-bemused-by-bulls-eye-gouging-claims
Tod, your filthy kiwi players did that to his eye
9 Apr 2012, 09:07 am
After the first weekend I was in the top 70% lol.
Sasuke I’m coming for you!
9 Apr 2012, 09:14 am
todd, go f uk yourself.
ask paddy for an apology rather you wont get it here you filthy eye gouger
9 Apr 2012, 09:16 am
I am so sick and tired of these selfrigheous Kiwi b@astards!! They get away with dispicable cheating and well done that the linesman penalized Carter’s blocking run. They use blocking all the time and very seldom get pingged for it. The ABs practice blocking lines and angle in their training drills. From broken play a tightforward in front of play manouvers into a blocking position and the attacking back uses this position as a sheild to avoid the cover defense.
9 Apr 2012, 09:18 am
sb @ 378
way to go bud…!!
9 Apr 2012, 09:22 am
@ufo(ufo)-362: The Bulls didn’t even follow up the complaint with a written citing – that’s how pathetic it was. If Chili and co couldn’t identify the offender how could they accuse a Crusaders player? On form it was more likely a Bull zinging their own man by accident. Don’t point the finger if you don’t know who to point it at…
9 Apr 2012, 09:23 am
@rangerman(rangerman)-381: You need to go wash that filthy mouth with a good dose of acid water bud.
9 Apr 2012, 09:24 am
@brains_trust(brains_trust)-382: Blocking is what Habana’s done standing in NZ and Aus back lines behind the ball waiting for the intercept for 8+ years. The Stormers effected it beautifully last week in Dunedin. Very effective given refs don’t blow it up.
9 Apr 2012, 09:25 am
sheesh look at flips eye in that photo????????????????
sorry kiwis but it looks to me like your clean as a whistle team have started the gouging and foul play as they slip down the ranks of contenders.
the titles have all but abandoned them and that read fellow is clearly not the sharpest so no wonder the team are turning into thugs.
dont feel too bad, we have the same issue to a lesser extent (obviously) at the sharks.
9 Apr 2012, 09:27 am
sanctimonious kiwi filth.
read and blackadder should be muzzled, their sides constant cheating shows they have about as much integrity as a used car salesman.
9 Apr 2012, 09:29 am
@Qrest(Qrest)-384: are you re ta rded?
a white card was issued meaning the bulls didnt need to follow up.
insular islander.
@CAPECRUSADER (seven-times champions)(CAPECRUSADER)-385: careful rat or i will swim you to the backline and use you for chum.
9 Apr 2012, 09:35 am
@rangerman(rangerman)-389: No need for name-calling ranger.I agree with you on the white card situation.citing commissioner out of line here and confusing a few okes on here.
9 Apr 2012, 09:39 am
This whole thing is like the JFK assassination.
SCENARIO 1 (lee harvey oswald shot him from behind) – its easiest to believe there was no gouging because if I’m not mistaken, the saders have never been accused in the previous 16 years of SR.
SCENARIO 2 (he was shot from the grassy knoll) – there was gouging but there’s no video to prove it)
SCENARIO 3 (the driver turned around & shot JFK with a pistol) – both bulls players were gouged by their teammates, like when corne krige concussed andre pretorius at twickenham
9 Apr 2012, 09:43 am
If somebody accused me in public of (say stealing money) and i know i have not done it AND after an investigation it became clear that there is no evidence whatsoever that I have done it I will expect the accuser to apologise or at least admit that he could have been wrong. I think most people will feel like that – Whether the accuser’s money is gone or not has got nothing to do with the fact that he accused me wrongly in public.(read: a mark to the face or not).
9 Apr 2012, 09:45 am
@rangerman(rangerman)-387:
don’t make me laugh comparing the Sharks to the Crusaders is like comparing the AB / Bokke head to head record there is no comparison to make, the Sharks have choked 16 times the Crusaders have won it 7 times and made the final another 2 or 3 times, you need to have a word to your mate FDP if he comes back to play he screamed every match in 2010 at the refs you must have been disgusted by that type of behaviour.
9 Apr 2012, 09:50 am
@Robzim(Robzim)-392: Silly comparison.OJ got off because of no evidence but that doesn’t mean he didn’t do it.why should the bulls apologise?
9 Apr 2012, 09:51 am
Tod sounds like Hansen
“When my team says they did not do it then they did not do it”
They are either very thick or sly, I reckon thick
9 Apr 2012, 09:53 am
@Robzim(Robzim)-392: You don’t know if it was accused wrongly, it could be inconclusive, lack of evidence, hey, let that not stop you from siding with filthy kiwi scumbags
9 Apr 2012, 09:53 am
@greentea(greentea)-393: You need some of that green tea to calm down.
9 Apr 2012, 09:54 am
@JL1(JL1)-395:
Hansen is a world champions doesnt really matter what you think, remind me again what trophies at any level SA rugby holds, please don’t include the Curry cup, shouldn’t take you too long to compile the list
9 Apr 2012, 09:54 am
@CAPECRUSADER (seven-times champions)(CAPECRUSADER)-397:
drinking a batch a brew now
9 Apr 2012, 09:57 am
whats the holdup how long does it take to type “none”?
9 Apr 2012, 09:58 am
@greentea(greentea)-398: Another cheating trophy won by the Kiwi cheats, a RWC trophy, and at home
Compile a list of RwC trophies won away from home, kiwi cheat,….
Ah that will not take you too long will it
9 Apr 2012, 09:59 am
The fact that the Bulls did not submit a written complaint means nothing. They don’t have a record of citing. A white card was sued. End of. I am annoyed wi the commissioner for commenting on facts not in evidence. There is no video evidence. End of.
The fact that flips eye was injured only proves that he got a finger or stud near the eye.
Most likely scenario.
No one is lying.
Both chilli and flip got a finger in the eye.
They said so.
It could have been accidental from any player
9 Apr 2012, 10:00 am
@CAPECRUSADER (seven-times champions)(CAPECRUSADER)-394:
Not so silly i reckon- if there was gouging the camera’s would surely have pointed at least something out- or ther would have been more damage to the eye – simpson’s case was far more inconclusive.
9 Apr 2012, 10:00 am
@JL1(JL1)-401:
terrible comeback mate, South African rugby holds nothing but hot air, when you’ve got some silverware come back to me
9 Apr 2012, 10:02 am
@greentea(greentea)-399: Good mate.don’t lose your cool with these okes on here,especially that rangerman.he is a bitter old twisted man and a stirrer of note on this forum.
9 Apr 2012, 10:04 am
@CAPECRUSADER (seven-times champions)(CAPECRUSADER)-390: ok apologies for the name calling
@greentea(greentea)-398: what has that got to do with the filthy gouging incidents in the crusaders vs bulls game?
@Robzim(Robzim)-392: no individual was pointed out though my guess is that the bulls players have a good idea who was at fault but what you are suggesting is like a rape victim apologising to the rapist due to lack of evidence?
no Rob, this agression will not stand (with apologies to the Dude)
9 Apr 2012, 10:06 am
@JL1(JL1)-396:
Taking sides? .
By saying ” let that not stop you from siding with filthy kiwi scumbags” shows you take this personally because you have a pre conceived believe that the kiwi’s are filthy scumbags and therefore your views on the matter cannot be taken seriously.
9 Apr 2012, 10:07 am
Taking my girls to watch the Varsity Cup Final at LC De Villiers this evening. A bit chilly today. My girls hoping for a Tukkies win. I’m well rather remain neutral.
9 Apr 2012, 10:07 am
@CAPECRUSADER (seven-times champions)(CAPECRUSADER)-405:
thank you Cape Crusader the next time i’m in Cape Town we can meet up and watch some old reruns of the Crusaders, they are bitter they hold no silverware and look to blame everybody but their own players for that, very sad as to me losing my cool with them, Bill is safely tucked away in NZ they can keep typing whatever they like and i’ll still be smiling thats what you do when your world champions with the best record in test rugby plenty to smile about
9 Apr 2012, 10:09 am
@rangerman(rangerman)-406:
there was no eye gouging it was a beat up to unsettle the mighty Crusaders, the Bulls will pay a high price for this karma.
9 Apr 2012, 10:10 am
Every family and every country has its pros and cons! Let’s just agree to disagree and get on with it…
Rugby is what we all love and we shouldn’t let petty issues cloud our views. Bringing out the dirty washing not so good either…
9 Apr 2012, 10:11 am
todd id a bit of a twat really.
he must have been going over the match tape like a csi…..sweating like a rapist in the dock with a women judge.
he must have seen the blood to the eye of flip but because you could actually not see how it happened. He let out a massive feeeeeeeewwwww. In fact, probably the cause of the low pressure system in the western cape the last couple of days.
something happened. one only has to look at flips eye as evidence of that. And let’s face it, just because the crusaders don’t get caught doesn’t mean they are squeeky clean. In fact, they have their own threshhold withregards to what could be called skullduggery when they are on the field.
9 Apr 2012, 10:12 am
@greentea(greentea)-409:
yes, well….if flip will not be able to play this weekend because of his eye….karma indeed.
9 Apr 2012, 10:13 am
@Robzim(Robzim)-392:
not the same thing rob…
if you were on a ship and the richbitche’s diamond tiara was stolen… and she said… someone on this ship’s has stolen my tiara… would you be offended…? would you expect her to apologize to you and the 1000 people who didn’t steal it…? because she didn’t know who took it would you say she should not report it missing…?
i don’t think anyone except for the thief would not have a problem with her report… or having their rooms searched…
yes, the crusaders have a ‘clean’ record… but that is not proof or evidence that one of them did not make a mistake or lose his cool… first time for everything…
it had to be someone on the field… chances are it was not one of his mates… but even if it was… by implying the guys are lying simply for reporting foul play is a very questionable response…
so we are saying that unless there is immediate video evidence… then foul play should not be reported by the captain…?
doesn’t that defeat the purpose of the white card in the first place…? they are to find out IF foul play has occurred… the fact that video evidence was not found does not mean nothing happened or that the guys are being dishonest… or need to apologize for reporting it…
9 Apr 2012, 10:14 am
@CAPECRUSADER (seven-times champions)(CAPECRUSADER)-405: hey now what about the name calling?
i am no old man either lol.
9 Apr 2012, 10:14 am
A great game next week. Saders vs Stormers – now that is mouthwatering. In their own backyard.
9 Apr 2012, 10:15 am
@ufo(ufo)-414:
you so desparately want it to be true, why is that?
9 Apr 2012, 10:16 am
So near yet so far for our Louis! Man that was close to his second major…
9 Apr 2012, 10:16 am
@rangerman(rangerman)-415:
thats true you whine more like a school girl
9 Apr 2012, 10:16 am
@rangerman(rangerman)-406:
What i said was that if i know i have not done it (Blackadder said before the investigation that the complaints are nonsense and would not have said so unless he was sure otherwise he would have looked like an idiot if they found evidence) AND further investigations show that there is also no evidence whatsoever that I have done anything wrong I would expect some sort of apology.
It is only human I guess?.
9 Apr 2012, 10:17 am
@Robzim(Robzim)-403: don’t let your hatred for the bulls cloud your judgment.
. Sometimes tries are not given for lack of evidence especially in cases where there is a pile-up and it can’t be determined whether the ball was grounded or not.in cases like that you probably would not a camera inside that pile-up to see.I believe that these allegations were the result of ruck play,so the same principle would probably be at play here.you really got a very weak argument
9 Apr 2012, 10:20 am
@greentea(greentea)-417: you so desperately want it to be untrue but whining on a saffa blog wont take away the evidence of damage to flips eye.
needless to say i trust chili and flips word over yours all day, every week and all year long sonny, capiche?
9 Apr 2012, 10:22 am
@rangerman(rangerman)-415: Sorry.I guess I should practice what i preach.sometimes it’s important to,keep to yourself,what you think of people.
9 Apr 2012, 10:23 am
wow. what a lot of silly comments. really it is being made into a very big deal. can we thank the fans or the media for that? or the players themselves?
some good rugger this weekend. happy with how our teams are going. sharks being the exception. oh and lions too. funny that they’re both coached by kiwis.
maybe we can start another conspiracy
9 Apr 2012, 10:23 am
@rangerman(rangerman)-422:
i have faith in the crusaders the way they approach the game the respect they have for it, the history etc now we get two eye gougers in one game, of course it was completely unproven could it be because of SA’s appalling record with eye gouging, flying headbutts ear biting etc that you all desparately want this to be true very poor the Bulls will pay a high price for this
9 Apr 2012, 10:23 am
@greentea(greentea)-419:
thats the spirit, swing those widdle ppunches, bet you wish you could gouge me like one of your heros eh?
@Robzim(Robzim)-420: no man, i have to go but i simply dont see how he can demand an aopology for a complaint by players.
was todd on the field gouging?
no, so he must have a nice big glass of stfu and apologise to flip for the state of his eye.
chat laters man!
@CAPECRUSADER (seven-times champions)(CAPECRUSADER)-421: ja i agree with you, funny i am feeling less bitter by the moment lmao!
9 Apr 2012, 10:24 am
@munkiboi(munkiboi)-424:
LOL
9 Apr 2012, 10:24 am
@greentea(greentea)-417:
you seem desperate for it not to be…
if you read my posts… you’ll see i acknowledge it could have been one of their own players… however unlikely it is possible…
so no not desperate for it to be true…
from the beginning i’ve been trying to make the point that they are not wrong or liars for reporting it… and that blackadder is wrong for implying that…
it sets a dangerous precedent when players are accused of dishonesty for reporting foul play…
but if you’re happy with that… i don’t expect you to moan next time a crusader accuses someone of something without video evidence and we all call him a liar…
9 Apr 2012, 10:26 am
what is it with kiwis that they constantly need to hold the high moral ground?
and be ultra sanctimonious to boot.
is it their geographical isolation?
or the fact that their region is dominated by their big brother oz?
or perhaps that they have a simple agri-economy?
to be sure, they need the all blacks to win trophies to remind the world that nz is part of the global community.
9 Apr 2012, 10:26 am
@CAPECRUSADER (seven-times champions)(CAPECRUSADER)-423: exactly, one day i will tell you what i think of you
@greentea(greentea)-425: blah blah blah sanctimonious “butter wouldnt melt in ourt kiwi mouths” kuk.
you sound like a nun, i didnt know they had internet?
9 Apr 2012, 10:26 am
@ufo(ufo)-414:
Good argument.
Let’s just hope she has not misplaced the tiara by mistake and then later find it but keep quiet about it and the rest of the world might think for ever that there was a thief onboard
9 Apr 2012, 10:26 am
Bottom line is:
Guilty if proven. Let’s put this to rest…
Rest in Peace…
9 Apr 2012, 10:28 am
@rangerman(rangerman)-426:
Cheers man– and do not shoot the wrong fish by mistake with that new fancy spear gun of yours
9 Apr 2012, 10:29 am
@charo(charo)-429: “its not us, we areso squeaky clean, we are kiwis!”
sheesh it is boring.
i guess it is that refusal to face their own demons that makes them annoying at times but i dont doubt they see themselves as the good guys and everyone else, notably saffas, as the devils charioteers.
we must try remember this when chatting with the simple island folk with the hazy world view.
9 Apr 2012, 10:29 am
@ufo(ufo)-428:
not really its just another thing for SAFFA’s to farking whine about , win some trophies and your whining will stop that is guaranteed – have to run, the Bulls have gone into dangerous territory with these tactics
9 Apr 2012, 10:29 am
@greentea(greentea)-409: Exactly mate.sometimes you just need to sit back,smile,and watch them fight over the scraps.
9 Apr 2012, 10:29 am
@Robzim(Robzim)-433:
cheers!
9 Apr 2012, 10:31 am
@CAPECRUSADER (seven-times champions)(CAPECRUSADER)-421:
I call for a lie detecter test and an eye test (at mark Lawrence) for chilli and Flippie .
9 Apr 2012, 10:31 am
@Robzim(Robzim)-431:
hehehe…
exactly… but then noone would mind their room being searched… and indeed, if it was found in her own room… she should apologize…
if flipp or chili were proved to poke themselves in their own eye… that would be the only circumstance in which i would expect them to apologize… in any other case… evidence or not… mistake or not… teammate or not… they shouldn’t need to apologize…
9 Apr 2012, 10:32 am
im outta here too…
cheers all…
big weekend coming up…
9 Apr 2012, 10:32 am
Sounds like our buddy in China has made a comeback.
Fikthy Kiwis.
9 Apr 2012, 10:35 am
@Robzim(Robzim)-438:
9 Apr 2012, 10:39 am
@rangerman(rangerman)-406: hahahahaha you quoted the Dude!
Well played son!
Lebowski rules.
9 Apr 2012, 10:39 am
Why on earth would the Bulls needs to be jealous of the Saders? They have won more Super titles in recent years (three to ziltch). It’s by two players with impeccable records. Flip’s eye is proof something happened, whether intentional or accidental. Todd’s bullying statement before the commissioner looked at the evidence was designed to put pressure on and should be condemned.
All hail the gods of greentea’s fantasty land.
9 Apr 2012, 10:39 am
@Robzim(Robzim)-431: Well done on your Superbru this weekend. Biggest climber!
9 Apr 2012, 10:40 am
It is ridiculous that Blackadder is asking for an apology from the Bulls. You can clearly see somebody handling Chilis head in the ruck before 1/2 time, but yes there is no evidence that somebody had their fingers in his eyes. Last time I checked the rule was against contact with eyes or the eye area of an opponent. Now as this guy failed to do damage Blackadder is asking for an apology….not very sportsman like…
Was good to see the comraderie between the Bulls and Crusaders after the game.
9 Apr 2012, 10:41 am
@greentea(greentea)-435: The one whinging here about two players daring to report incidents against your precious Saders is you. Go change your nappy.
9 Apr 2012, 10:42 am
@ossewa(ossewa)-446: Todd can go apologise to Flip’s eye.
9 Apr 2012, 10:42 am
@Robzim(Robzim)-438: Chilly looks ice cool and would probably sail through that test,but I don’t know about Flippie.btw,can I send that united-loving linesman for the same eye test?looked like some crusader players eye-gouged him as well.
9 Apr 2012, 10:44 am
@stormersboy(stormersboy)-445:
Thanks- u did very well yourself.
I have a dilemma this weekend- it’s unlikely that the Saders will lose twice in a row (they will be very motivated and charged up after the narrow loss against the bulls) – but how do one” pick” against your own team ?
9 Apr 2012, 10:45 am
@greentea(greentea)-425: You trust a a team with a naked winger drunk in bar?
Oh I forgot that was not him, must have been his twin,Crusader players will never do that
9 Apr 2012, 10:47 am
@Robzim(Robzim)-450: You don’t
Backing the Stormers to leave the Crusaders stranded.
9 Apr 2012, 10:47 am
@Robzim(Robzim)-431: Same as Tod was not accused, his team was, and no one by name
Re look now at your they need to apologise
9 Apr 2012, 10:47 am
@Robzim(Robzim)-450:
Go for the Stormers buddy…they are unstoppable this season…from a Bull’s supporter, plus the Crusaders will be flat from flying home…
9 Apr 2012, 10:48 am
Who was the citing commissioner ? and why is he finding it “interesting” that the bulls didnt follow up the complaint? . A white card was issued which is officially automatically saying that the incident must be reviewed why do the bulls have to follow it up?
goes to show you what attitude the judiciary take towards south african teams. its like they are implying that chili and flip are lying
there is not enough evidence to pin this on anyone that doesnt mean it didnt happen.
bulls v crusaders at loftus games alway have some drama – last time houggard score after the hooter and the crusaders said there was a forward pass. this time they were denied a try which could have won them the game
9 Apr 2012, 10:51 am
@CAPECRUSADER (seven-times champions)(CAPECRUSADER)-449:
I immediately picked the Bulls (on Superbru) to win this one by a few points when I saw the terrible twins (Jako and Pro) will be officiating.
Otherwise i would have gone for Saders by at least 8.
I mentioned this to Tacitus before the game but then somebody else on the blog called me a whinger so maybe we must just change the subject
9 Apr 2012, 10:54 am
@ossewa(ossewa)-454: you could be right.the title is the stormers’ to lose.i believe that they were second favourites with the bookies going into the weekend,but,surely,their odds must have shortened on that saurday’s display.
9 Apr 2012, 10:54 am
The Citing Commissioners and the back-up commissioners (in brackets) are:
South Africa:Freek Burger (Andy Prior)
Australia:Scott Nowland (**** Byres)
New Zealand:Steve Hinds (Mike O Leary)
Are these still in charge?
9 Apr 2012, 10:56 am
@CAPECRUSADER (seven-times champions)(CAPECRUSADER)-457: should read saturday/
9 Apr 2012, 10:57 am
@Michael(mikeybrass)-452:
@ossewa(ossewa)-454:
Hey, i hope you guys are right.
I was at newlands last year when the saders beat us despite fielding a very depleted team and later even had to play a flanker on the wing.
It was a terrible day,since that day i am a bit scared of that bunch.
9 Apr 2012, 10:58 am
@Robzim(Robzim)-456: pro is a legend.
9 Apr 2012, 11:01 am
@Robzim(Robzim)-450: Yes, quite a conundrum. I’m not sure which way to go frankly. If I pick the Saders on the picks then I probably hedge my bets best, either way I have something.
If the Stormers lose then it’s a consolation, if they win I’d be happy to give up the points I guess…..
I may go out on a limb and just pick my guys though. Go for it anyway….
9 Apr 2012, 11:04 am
Can’t wait for tacitus to appear today or tomorrow, proclaiming to the world that,despite the stormers great rugby,his beloved bulls are only FOUR points behind them.
9 Apr 2012, 11:07 am
@stormersboy(stormersboy)-462:
Yip, one of the kakkest feelings is to pick ‘against’ the Stormers and then they win-it happened to me last year when they played away against the bulls and sharks- felt like a bit of a traitor, lol.
Only Skoppy knew for sure they were going to win
9 Apr 2012, 11:07 am
@Robzim(Robzim)-460: The Saders lost Sonny and we have fit locks which will make a difference to our pack at scrum time.
I am sure some will say the Saders will be fired up to prove a point. Conversely then, wouldn’t the Stormers be fired up to take the Saders down a peg or two.
9 Apr 2012, 11:08 am
This tournament sucks
The team at number 3 on the log has less points than the Bulls. The whole concept is wrong, too many derby matches, not enough variations, not playing all the teams
9 Apr 2012, 11:08 am
@CAPECRUSADER (seven-times champions)(CAPECRUSADER)-463: The Bulls will be in the running right till the end.
9 Apr 2012, 11:09 am
@JL1(JL1)-466: Yes, this conference nonsense is a bleery mess.
9 Apr 2012, 11:13 am
@Robzim(Robzim)-464: Haha yes I always used to go for the Stormers and they constantly disappointed me, I used to haemorrhage points on them regularly, but I felt like a traitor if I didn’t back them.
Then I though stuff this and bet some games against them and they started winning lol.
Now I pick mostly and will probably do so this weekend as well.
Thing is, the way that the Crusaders got on top of the Bulls in the first half was by getting in their faces at the breakdown, and if ever there was team who’c pattern of play is suited to countering that it’s us.
So who knows?
9 Apr 2012, 11:15 am
@Michael(mikeybrass)-467: probably.they still have to travel,so we will see.how will the young ones cope with the familiarity of loftus and the saffa derbies behind them?
9 Apr 2012, 11:16 am
@Michael(mikeybrass)-465:
Yip, our pack is certainly playing better this year- they seemed to have overcome the loss of Francois Louw.
I remember DC did not play last year but the replacement flyhalf (a bloke with a norwegian name) had an absolute blinder.
Btw I was pleasantly surprised with the performance of Joe Pieterson on Saturday- i critisized him during the build up week for his lack of attacking play this year- but it was very nice to be proven wrong.
9 Apr 2012, 11:16 am
@Michael(mikeybrass)-468: we need to go back to the super 10.lots of rubbish teams on all sides of the divide.
9 Apr 2012, 11:19 am
@stormersboy(stormersboy)-469:
Lets hold thumbs.
I am off to majik forrest now for some riding while the sun shines.
Cheers.
9 Apr 2012, 11:21 am
Yes I too preferred the days of Super 10. There is too much rugby being played. There is only so much a player’s body can take.
My gut says these young Bulls players will not be afraid of travelling. Those days are gone.
9 Apr 2012, 11:31 am
crusaders played their best 30 minutes of the season and still only led by 6 at the half.
the bulls need d.potgieter and steggmann back chop chop.Standers a ball carrier and not a ground player. Bulls relaxing and subbing everyone in the last few minutes nearly blew it. Also a daft mistake by the bulls lineout team towards the end that led to the 3rd crusader try. Bulls had a penalty after the carter block and kicked for touch. A pretty piss poor kick with not much distance. Instead of throwing safe to the front of the lineout in a defensive formation…..the bulls opted to throw long to the back and promtly got picked off. In fact, I’d say it was the best crusaders lineout of the night other than the fact that the bulls had the put in.
Hence the crusaders have a valuable bonus point after being outscored 23-6 for the meat of the game. A fairly comprehensive 40 minute spell by the bullys albeit they still look a little off the pace with plenty of improvement needed.
9 Apr 2012, 11:32 am
I’d just like to say now that Bismaark is definately no certainty for the boks, both Straaus and chilli are playing awesome rugby.
9 Apr 2012, 11:34 am
In fact, had Chilli not been in the mix, Straaus would be a serious Bok Captain candidate.
9 Apr 2012, 11:43 am
@Brigadier Van Zyl(Brigadier Van Zyl)-477: I haven’t seen the Cheetahs’ games. chili has impressed me. Cool, calm, focused and damn effective. He does the basics better than Bismark and is a better scrummager.
There is something about Bismark which leaves me cold.
9 Apr 2012, 11:49 am
@Michael(mikeybrass)-478:
chilli and straaus are both playing really well. Bismaark is a drama and emotional player much like liebenberg. Winning the fight is as important as winning the game. Bismaarks saving grace was his work at the breakdown and turnovers. I’d say chilli and straaus are as good now but are far more adept at being an important cog in the sum-of-the-whole.
9 Apr 2012, 11:56 am
@Brigadier Van Zyl(Brigadier Van Zyl)-479: Liebenburg is a good super player but no international. Bismark plays his best when he has competition; I don’t like his temper, nor his scrummaging.
Bismark has the potential to be the best in the world but he needs to control his agression and he needs to sort out his scrummaging. For how many years have been people saying this now…
Until he does so, I’d go with Chili.
9 Apr 2012, 11:57 am
@Michael(mikeybrass)-478:
for the record, cheetahs are playing brilliant rugby and well done for Naka, he deserves more recognition. Goosen is worldclass already, the ebersonns are really starting to perform with sias looking awesome at 12. In fact very kiwi like having a ball player at 12.Also adding another kicking option to the backs. Leroux, if form continues will be in the mix as a bok finisher and Dannillier, along with kirchener are the form 15′s. Brussow is back to his best it would seem, not as many steals as in 2009 but workrate is unimaginable. Coonie Oost will be the bok 1 with possibly greyling as a supersub unless the quota police force beast into the mix …..injury and all.
Again must applaud naka and his team as I would say that the cheetahs have some no name brands in the pack (johnson included in my opinion) and yet still get quick ball for the backs with a decent enough set piece.
9 Apr 2012, 12:02 pm
@Brigadier Van Zyl(Brigadier Van Zyl)-481: I like Beast. I don’t know when he is due back though. There is Gurtho who might be called back but I doubt Heyneke will do so, not with Coenie and Ginger in the mix.
I have always been a huge fan of having a playmaker at 12. Witness Michael du Plessis and Hennie le Roux at Bok level at 12, or the ’98 overseas tour with Muir at 12. Then Faffa Knoetze at 12 for WP. The list goes on.
Hopefully Heyneke will take a look at both Jantjies and Goosen during Bok squad sessions. I don’t expect it for against the English – he will have to go with established combos – but certainly as the year wears on.
9 Apr 2012, 12:02 pm
@Brigadier Van Zyl(Brigadier Van Zyl)-481: Heyneke should look at the Cheetahs backline coach for the Boks, imo.
9 Apr 2012, 12:07 pm
@Brigadier Van Zyl(Brigadier Van Zyl)-481: why bringing quotas into this?now wonder bulls supporters are seen as commin by capetonian stormers supporters.
9 Apr 2012, 12:09 pm
@CAPECRUSADER (seven-times champions)(CAPECRUSADER)-484: Should read no
9 Apr 2012, 12:15 pm
@Michael(mikeybrass)-483:
Brendan Venter?
9 Apr 2012, 12:18 pm
@Slartibartfast(Slartibartfast)-486: Not a fan of Venter.
9 Apr 2012, 12:19 pm
This from News 24:
Pretoria – A high school rugby player is facing criminal charges after he knocked a referee unconscious during a tournament Pretoria, according to a report on Monday.
Chris de Beer, 37, from the Blue Bulls Referee Union was sworn at and hit over the head by the boy after he sent him off with a red card for hitting another player last week, the Beeld newspaper reported.
“After the game I walked over to the player to confirm his number because I had to write a report.
“The boy took me by the throat, and said I was talking lekker kak,” he said.
The boy from Hans Strijdom High School in Mookgophong, Limpopo then hit him and rendered him unconscious.
9 Apr 2012, 12:23 pm
so,greg peters has cleared up this whole white card and reporting business in an article on rugby365.teams will be instructed to put in a written report from now on in cases where a white card has been issued.
9 Apr 2012, 12:27 pm
@stormersboy(stormersboy)-488:
mookgophong?
9 Apr 2012, 12:30 pm
@stormersboy(stormersboy)-488: The boy had no reason for such actions, but these refs need to get better developed.
If they can only get the basics right, but missing knock forwards, skew feeds, and forward passes frustrates everyone
9 Apr 2012, 12:30 pm
@CAPECRUSADER (seven-times champions)(CAPECRUSADER)-484:
because, beast has not had a decent game in almost 2 seasons, will not have played hardly any rugby by the time inbound tours come in and is competing for a jersey where there are plenty of candidates. We both know that sa can’t put out a whites only side so then you need to look at options. Habana,Jp Pieterson, Basson, chilli are all real candidates albeit also competing for jerseys with plenty of competition. Beest by default also comes into consideration. That is the reality of the situation, regardless of wanting to bring the “quota” into the discussion or not.
9 Apr 2012, 12:31 pm
@stormersboy(stormersboy)-488:
lets be honest, someone should have done that to Bryce ages ago.
9 Apr 2012, 12:35 pm
@JL1(JL1)-491: still doesn’t give him the right to knock the ref senseless.frustration can get you into real trouble.in brussels over the weekend a road accident investigator got killed by an irate driver when he attended to the an accident between the said driver and a bus driver.
9 Apr 2012, 12:36 pm
@Brigadier Van Zyl(Brigadier Van Zyl)-492: Beast and Gurtho played fantastically last season for the Boks. Both were outstanding.
9 Apr 2012, 12:38 pm
@CAPECRUSADER (seven-times champions)(CAPECRUSADER)-494: I said it is wrong, thuggish
We are seeing more of this due to stress in society, never see this happen where people are relaxed
9 Apr 2012, 12:38 pm
guthro did,beast wasn’t his best

@Brigadier Van Zyl(Brigadier Van Zyl)-492: on current form habana,de jongh,aplon and kolisi should be selected for the boks if they where to play next weekend.
9 Apr 2012, 12:43 pm
in any case if they want to bring back fdp then might as well bring back steenkamp who i consider better than all the players mentioned by the brigadier.
9 Apr 2012, 12:45 pm
@ 471 you mean matt berquist. he’s left to play in UK. Their young 10 (blyendaal) was captain of the NZ U20′s. I’m just glad stephen brett isn’t with canterbury anymore

498…none of the stores backs are worth a mention because they can’t organize a try regardless of all the frontfootball and turnovers they are getting.kolisi is playing well enough but at 6 over brussow? Or even Minnie?
9 Apr 2012, 13:25 pm
499, guthro is an awesome player definitely still a test match option
9 Apr 2012, 13:38 pm

9 Apr 2012, 13:43 pm
Ive read most of this thread without commenting. Im afraid ill get sucked into an argument, but here is my thoughts on the subject anyway..
Blackadder, showed some arrogance and insulted the opposition by demanding an apology before the sighting commission even gave their verdict. Guess what, its not about nationality, its about humanity.
Every player or team is capable of being guilty of foul play. Demanding an apology is like saying that his players are incapable of foul play, which would be a naive statement or a very clever statement.
If its a naive statement: its like saying they are not human. And breaking the rules, which they got penalized for a few times, arent that much different from taking a cheap shot when no one is looking. Carter almost got away with that one incident (blocking the defender).
If there is no evidence, it doesnt mean it didnt happen. The two bulls players complained on the field and a white card was issued. The bulls didnt groan about it afterwards, and even after no evidence was declared they kept quiet too. So Blackadder can stuff his expectation of an apology where the long white cloud casts no shadow.
If Blackadders statements is clever: Any player can be guilty of foul play. Its totally arrogant to think they cant. What a coach says about his players and team can have a big impact on the perception of a team. Blackadder, gives the perception that they would never ever, cross their hearts, be naughty on the field…. that sticks in the back of a refs head. Richie Macaw is a good example of a player who was previously invisible to committing infringements, because a positive perception was created by good and probably planned manipulation…
Id call it sour grapes after losing and fear of suspension.
9 Apr 2012, 13:46 pm
Well just wanted to log in and say congrats to the Stormers, Bulls and me beloved Bloem Bashers…………old Capatain Sam didn’t get to watch much of the rugga this weekend cause his powder ****** was in the hospital…………..said powder ****** has made a full recovery and is very pleased her Cheetahs won.
Cheetahs are playing some pretty awesome rugga ………………Go on Lads run them off their feet!!
9 Apr 2012, 13:50 pm
Just bought my tickets for Bulls Stormers game 31 May! Grand Stand tickets for R150.00 each.
9 Apr 2012, 13:52 pm
@Captain Sam Vimes(Captain Sam Vimes)-512:
The back line looks really good indeed. Goosen is Bok material for sure. I just hope the coach puts faith into the youngsters to take us into a new era. I hope he doesn’t do what the previous coach did and try and lure the old men back.
9 Apr 2012, 13:57 pm
@Bill Reyts(Gumboots)-514: Morne Steyn will probably retain the number ten jersey, but hopefully just to be a mentor for a short time…Lets hope he forgets about Bakkies, our young locks are looking awesome. Bakkies is over the hill and a ticking redcard
9 Apr 2012, 13:59 pm
@carol(carol)-501: Mea cupla
It’s my dress down day
9 Apr 2012, 14:01 pm
@Jeez(Jeez)-515:
Yeah I hope he shows faith and starts building for the future. I think Hougie should get the nod before someone like FdP, who hasn’t shown any form near what he was a few years back. Hougie brings energy to the team. Bakkies hasn’t been the same and Rossouw is not needed with all the talent around. BUT – I doubt he has the faith or balls to choose the youngsters who have put up their hands.
9 Apr 2012, 14:01 pm
Does anyone know when Mr Beast makes his return?
9 Apr 2012, 14:02 pm
@Michael(mikeybrass)-518:
I have no idea, but the redhead monster from the Cape is making huge strides in my book…
9 Apr 2012, 14:08 pm
@Bill Reyts(Gumboots)-517: picking overseas players, could be tactical. Resting players after a long southern hemisphere season…On the other hand, easing players to the international scene might not be a bad idea. Balance between experience and new caps is probably important to build a young team.That way in a season or two, you wouldnt need any ‘old’ players, if the youngsters were introduced into international rugby without too much pressure…
9 Apr 2012, 14:10 pm
@Bill Reyts(Gumboots)-517: But HM did say ” you dont build a team on international level, you pick the best players”….
9 Apr 2012, 14:11 pm
@Jeez(Jeez)-520:
Agree, but choose local players. There is some huge experience in the country already! Burger; JdV; Habanna; JPP; Beast; Bekker; Bissie; etc…
9 Apr 2012, 14:11 pm
@Jeez(Jeez)-521:
Exactly – if you are good enough you are old enough – nuff said
9 Apr 2012, 14:18 pm
@Jeez(Jeez)-511:
Blackadder trusted his players – he believed they were innocent even before the sighting commission (or whatever they are called) gave their verdict.
Imagine if they were founded to be guilty- he would have looked like an ape.
So he put his head on the block for them. Maybe he was naive but I think he really trusted them and knew they would not get involved in eye gouging – Good for him in my books.
9 Apr 2012, 14:18 pm
@Bill Reyts(Gumboots)-522: True, id like to have Fdp to help MSteyn start to fade away and make way for Goosen or Jantjies. I see it this way: Hougard didnt really help to relieve the pressure on MSteyn. If the bulls forwards dont dominate and gets confronted with a pack that doesnt stand back and puts pressure on them Steyn struggles. Thats why you need a scrummy to alleviate the pressure. Hougie needs to work on that…Fdp is the master in that regard and much better suited for that role.
Id play hougie if MSteyn wasnt the number one choice flyhalf, but he probably will be.. For the time being…
9 Apr 2012, 14:22 pm
@Jeez(Jeez)-525:
I wouldn’t play Steyn at all. This Super 15 has shown that he is a mighty good kicker but a pretty average 10. He stands so far behind the advantage line and relied on FdP to take the pressure off him. Now that FdP is also playing pretty average rugger, he is looking more average. Play Hougie and Goosen at 9 and 10. Man that is a dynamic duo…
9 Apr 2012, 14:23 pm
@Robzim(Robzim)-524:
Yeah that is what you call loyalty and trust. He has been proven right! Rightly or wrongly so…
9 Apr 2012, 14:24 pm
@nama1(nama1)-194:
Nama, let’s face it
Fabrication it was and not an intelligent one I may say, considered we talk two separate incidents of eye-gouging – which are fairly easy to verify and prove – but they couldn’t find any?
Peiper lost plenty credit with his refereeing, more so now, just another Junker/Joubert/Tapa Henning clone
9 Apr 2012, 14:26 pm
@Bill Reyts(Gumboots)-526:
Goosen is the future of SA rugby- we had no player like that for years- he is the complete flyhalf, there is nothing he cannot do (and that includes attack)
They should play him straight away- why wait?
9 Apr 2012, 14:27 pm
@Robzim(Robzim)-524:
“Imagine if they were founded to be guilty- he would have looked like an ape.”
Thats my point, it would be (and probably was) naive and pretty stupid to think that his players arent capable of foul play, before no evidence was found. Any player in world rugby is capable of doing someting stupid in the heat of play. He got lucky that it didnt happen or that they just werent sighted on camera.Its not clear what happened, so you cant accuse them and you cant really disregard the allegations either.
9 Apr 2012, 14:29 pm
@Robzim(Robzim)-529:
Absolutely! But will the coach have the balls to drop his beloved son? I doubt it. I hear he is trying to lure FdP and Roussouw back to the country. Don’t know why though…
9 Apr 2012, 14:32 pm
@Hondo(Hondo)-528: Could you back that statement? A white card was issued… And how is it easy to verify an incident like that? They can hardly prove a ball being grounded…
9 Apr 2012, 14:33 pm
@Robzim(Robzim)-529:
Greetings, how was the Majik forest today?
Rain blowing sideways here and someone has nicked my tiara!
I have heard that Michael wears it well though!
9 Apr 2012, 14:35 pm
@carol(carol)-533:
Tiara! Queen Carol??? Royalty??? Hmmm impressive.
9 Apr 2012, 14:35 pm
@Jeez(Jeez)-530:
I don’t think Blackadder got lucky, i think he just knew they would not do it.
Eye gouging is just about the most despicable act on a rugby field- a player must be a real proper thug to do anything like that – a coach who knows his players will probably be able to make the call he did without any fear of being proven wrong.
Anyway, i guess the matter is more or less dealt with so maybe we must just leave it as well.
9 Apr 2012, 14:35 pm
@Bill Reyts(Gumboots)-513:
Now tickets for Bulls Stormers game are the most wanted in my book!!
9 Apr 2012, 14:39 pm
@Robzim(Robzim)-529: Play Steyn as the starting flyhalf and bring on Goosen in the second half. there are three tests against the English. We can afford to bring in a better player steadily.
9 Apr 2012, 14:39 pm
@carol(carol)-536:
Howzit Carol! Yeah for sure! Made sure I get them early as I didn’t want to be disappointed closer to the time. Still some nice seats available. Better safe than sorry!
9 Apr 2012, 14:39 pm
@Bill Reyts(Gumboots)-534:
Actually UFO was the instigator of the ‘tiara’ theft!! lol
9 Apr 2012, 14:39 pm
@Robzim(Robzim)-535:
I agree with you, he probably doesnt his players to be guilty of such foul play, but it was a cheap shot demanding an apology. Thats like turning the tables and making the bulls out to be liars or cheats etc. I doubt Chilli would ever lie about something so serious though. Id start to doubt the trust I have in my players after two incidents…
9 Apr 2012, 14:39 pm
it seems the bulls,according to peters,played according the rules in this whole gouging saga.i am very disappointed in some of my fellow crusader supporters and stormers supporters who had a go at the bulls all day.

Unbeaten and unbowed: savvy Stormers blow Highlanders away to sit on top of the heap
April 9
THE Stormers have certified themselves as dangerous Super Rugby frontrunners in a dramatic round that involved brawls and accusations of eye-gouging.
The Stormers remain the only unbeaten team in the tournament after overwhelming the leading New Zealand side, the Highlanders, in Dunedin, showing that jet lag and a tough victory the previous week against the Bulls in Cape Town had not sapped their energy levels.
The victory revolved around intense defence and smart counter-attack whenever the Highlanders made mistakes. It enabled them to stay on top of the South African conference ahead of the Bulls, who beat the Crusaders in Pretoria after warding off a late comeback in a match marred by eye-gouging allegations.
Advertisement: Story continues below
Bulls forwards Chiliboy Ralepelle and Flip van der Merwe told referee Jaco Peyper they had been gouged, and he produced the white card twice to put the incidents on report.
This surprised the Crusaders, a team not renowned for foul play. After the match, Crusaders captain Kieran Read was mystified by the Bulls players’ complaints, arguing his team did not resort to such unsavoury tactics. He said his team were ”not the type of men to do that sort of thing”.
Crusaders coach Todd Blackadder was just as vehement, stating if the allegations were incorrect, he would be ”expecting an apology”.
In other matches, off-field yellow cards were issued. Sharks prop Jannie du Plessis received one after he fought Hurricanes back-rower Karl Lowe in New Plymouth – slapping him in the face. Three separate fights broke out.
”It was a pretty hard slap, and he’s a big boy,” Lowe said ”I wouldn’t like to meet him down a dark alley.”

OK they are ready so outta here…
9 Apr 2012, 15:06 pm
Karl Lowe is ‘n Slapgat!
9 Apr 2012, 15:15 pm
What was Blackadder suppose to do/say when he was confronted by these allegations?
People defending him forgot that they reacted the same way as Bulls supporters and other South Africans when PdV defended Bok players during the B & L tour in 2009 after similar allegations. (“If we want to gouge lions, we’ll go to the Bushveld and do it to real lions.”)
People who now ridicule Blackadder for defendinding his players, forget that they defended PdV back then because a coach is suppose to defend and protect his players if they are accuse of something , like this, without any proof.
Strange how people can change their views about the same kind of incident.
9 Apr 2012, 15:16 pm
@JL1(JL1)-555: he surely is one if that’s how he sees jannie’s girly slap.
9 Apr 2012, 15:19 pm
Still think this was a ploy from the Bulls all along.
I simply cannot believe that not one camera, commentator, teammate, touch judge or the ref missed not one, but TWO incidents of eye gouging.
THis whole thing reeks of a pre-meditated tactic. The worst part is most of these Bulls okes call themselves christian.
And let’s face it. Chilli and his buddy Basson get easily confused with all the banned substances they “accidentally” inhale.
9 Apr 2012, 15:25 pm
@Vetkoek(Vetkoek)-558: Flip injured his own eye as a ploy? Do you realise how stupid you sound?
9 Apr 2012, 15:27 pm
@nama1(nama1)-556: A supporter is allowed to say what he/she wants to. PdV anyways was defending against that specific allegation; he never basically said his side is clean as a whistle, never does anything wrong, side. Difference
9 Apr 2012, 15:28 pm
@nama1(nama1)-556: Not strange. More like fed up with the hollier-than-thou attitude.
9 Apr 2012, 15:34 pm
Hey,what time is Varsity cup final? Driving back from Kimberley to Pta and wondering if I’ll make it in time…
9 Apr 2012, 15:35 pm
@Michael(mikeybrass)-559:
Did I say Flip inured his own eye? So Flip had a little blood around the eye, does that mean he was gouged? Every match I see okes walking around with blood around their eyes etc.
So before you mouth off, you may want to think about how stupid you sound. I’m simply suggesting that it’s highly unusual that 2 bulls players accuse the oppo of gouging and NOT ONE SINGLE camera, official or teammate picked it up. Would you stand idly by while someone did a little eyeball surgery on one of your teammates?
My opinion, they devised the ploy to try and rattle the Saders and draw the refs attention away from other things. A bit like the Bulls player who was screaming like a big girls blouse that he ha a mortal wound, when the Saders had good front foot ball, only to get up, rub his bicep a bit and suddenly be healed.
Come to think of it, I think it was Flip as well…. hmmmmm….
9 Apr 2012, 15:36 pm
I like the Pink Bulls style. They refuse to apologise and stand by their allegations that there was eyes gouging by the cheating Crusaders.
Carter should be ashamed of himself for his unsportsmanlike behaviour of intefering with the tackler. I really thought this guy had class but I was clearly wrong.
9 Apr 2012, 15:38 pm
Vetkoek
You are a fat cake
Call this a ploy, they were getting in charge of the game, controlling it at that point.
What stupid, stupid thing to say
9 Apr 2012, 15:43 pm
@JL1(JL1)-565:
Vetkoek has eaten too many vetkoeks which has caused his eyes to close and his brain to stop functioning.
9 Apr 2012, 15:45 pm
@JL1(JL1)-565:
“You are a fat cake”
Sheesh, careful you don’t cut your tongue on that razor sharp wit of yours.
The accusation by Chilli was made shortly before halftime, when the Bulls were still behind. They only picked it up after half-time, but before half time, the Saders had the upper hand.
At that stage the Bulls were still EYE-dling.
9 Apr 2012, 15:47 pm
@Brigadier Van Zyl(Brigadier Van Zyl)-476:
Yeah.
Bissie must be 3rd in line now, behind:
1. Straauss
2. Chilliboy
3. Bissie
4. Tiaan
Tiaan is actually challenging him quite hard for that 3rd spot at the moment.
Maybe we should keep a no. 2 Bok barometre going every week.
@Michael(mikeybrass)-560:
Supporters at least have to have some integrity also. You can’t just change your mind when it suits you. Dangerous play is dangerous play and no matter what team make them guilty of that, you should condemn it.
I don’t see much difference between the two incidents except that in one instance it was South Africans being accused and their coach defending his players’ integrity. In the 2nd instance it is NZ players being accused and their coach defending their integrity.
Where does Todd say that his team never do anything wrong? He is only defending his players against this specific allegation of eye gouging. A very, very serious allegation.
I bet you that if Chilliboy and Flip made similar allegations against the Sharks, some Shark supporters, who now side with them, would’ve rip them apart for making these allegations without any proof.
Anyway, it’s done and dusted now. Best we all just move on and concentrate on the next game.
9 Apr 2012, 15:49 pm
@White Shark(Predawn)-566:
Oooh. More rapier wit.
You okes are really schooling me.
You ever stop to think that just like I may be wrong about it being an underhanded tactic of distraction, that perhaps you guys are wrong about the Saders actually being dirty?
Or are you in fact the one who is too blind to his own mortality?
After the “please ref, stop the game, I’m one breath short of death by lammie to the bicep” debacle that preceded the accusations, who knows how low these Bulls would sink?
9 Apr 2012, 15:52 pm
@Vetkoek(Vetkoek)-563: You accused two Bulls players of lying. Flip might reportedly be out of the next match from his eye injury. You are therefore saying that he or a team-mate injured his own eye to fool the ref.
Stupidity of the highest calibre.
9 Apr 2012, 15:52 pm
@nama1(nama1)-568:
Strauss is defo the stand out thus far, but I’m not so sure about the anyone else being ahead of Bissie in the pecking order. It also needs to be remembered that he is playing in a decidedly ordinary pack and a team that is more up and down than a Bangkok ladyboy on half price night.
9 Apr 2012, 15:54 pm
@nama1(nama1)-568: An additional point: PdV never denied Burger’s fingers made contact. He only denied it was intentional. Todd on the other hand…
Poor Saders, little bunch of princesses.
9 Apr 2012, 15:55 pm
Doubt it. Why would the winning team makes these accusations? Does not make sense. The Bulls have nothing to gain from mind games after the fact unless they had in fact lost the game and therefore wanted to seek retribution.
9 Apr 2012, 15:56 pm
supersport. com/rugby/super-rugby/news/120409/No_need_for_us_to_apologise_Bulls
Good on the Bulls. Spot on.
9 Apr 2012, 15:57 pm
@Michael(mikeybrass)-570:
No- I’m accusing them of lying and saying that his eye injury could have been caused by any number of things. Punch, accidental headbutt, accidental boot to the face, collision with an elbow.
Google rugby eye injuries. You will be AMAZED at how many incidents there are of eyes that look like that….. Or is every single one of them eye gouging?
How come we haven’t seen the brutality that is Chilliboys eye? Was he not horrifically assaulted as well?
Don’t tell me what I’m saying my little nest of vipers. It may suit you to read it that way, but it’s not what I’m saying.
You’ll find putting words into someone else’s mouth would be called stupid by many.
9 Apr 2012, 15:58 pm
They should maybe take a closer look at Dean’s actions in the rucks. Maybe he mistakenly gouge his own players.
His attitude and actions against the Stormers last week showed that he is a thug.
9 Apr 2012, 16:02 pm
@White Shark(Predawn)-573:
The accusations were made when the Bulls were down on the scoreboard. Not after they had won the game, but during it.
TWICE.
And NOBODY else out of all those camera’s, officials, players etc picked it up?
Dubious. Not impossible, but to my mind improbable.
And since you ask why the winning team would bring it up (even though they brought it up when they were in fact still playing), I would ask why an allegation – NAY TWO ALLEGATIONS IN ONE GAME – of something a serious as eye-gouging was not followed up by the Bulls after the game? No report was filed. Not one dotted i or crossed t.
Now doesn’t that seem strange? I mean surely if two of your players were “victims” of one of the worst allegations in rugby, you would file the report in that allotted timeframe?
9 Apr 2012, 16:02 pm
@Vetkoek(Vetkoek)-575: “No- I’m accusing them of lying”
No? No? There is no “no” when that’s exactly what I said you are doing.
Your stupidity is beyond words. I’m done with you.
9 Apr 2012, 16:03 pm
@nama1(nama1)-576: Right, you join the list of incruably stupid too.
9 Apr 2012, 16:04 pm
@nama1(nama1)-576:
I will give him this though- he sold a better dummy than most of our backs are capable of to score a great try.
Meisiekind must be sweating that yet another player in SA has shown they are a better centre than him
9 Apr 2012, 16:07 pm
@Michael(mikeybrass)-578:
No- you accused me of saying that they gouged themselves, when I plainly did not.
I never denied that I thought they might be lying.
You really seem to struggle with the Eengleesh hey?
9 Apr 2012, 16:07 pm
@Michael(mikeybrass)-572:
So you would’ve been satisfied then if Blackadder said, “Sure, one of my players may have done that but I can assure you it was not intentional.”
9 Apr 2012, 16:10 pm
@Michael(mikeybrass)-578:
Hey Mikey- you in politics boet? You seem to be pretty adept at manipulating soundbytes to suit your little crusades.
For clarity, read the WHOLE sentence again. Here, I’ll even copy and paste for your pleasure:
“No- I’m accusing them of lying and saying that his eye injury could have been caused by any number of things.”
See that little dot after the word things? That’s a fullstop. Indicates the end of a sentence. If you can’t read further than you want in order to try and make a point, then I’d say it is you who is incruably??????? stupid.
9 Apr 2012, 16:13 pm

9 Apr 2012, 16:21 pm
@Michael(mikeybrass)-579:
There we go. You know that you lose points in an argument when you resort to name calling?
You could’ve at least tried to spell “incurably” correctly before accusing me of being stupid.
@Vetkoek(Vetkoek)-580:
That was a good dummy.
Don’t forget Coenie’s side step last week. WO will have his work cut out to make the team ahead of the two of them.
9 Apr 2012, 16:54 pm
Speaking of Goosen-
Watching this kid live on Saturday,many people were saying, that he hasn’t done anything to warrant the hype myself included, and that schoolboy success, doesn’t necessarily translate into senior rugby success!
To his credit, Goosen has done his talking on the field!
Top points scorer after 7 rounds, he has defended well, he gets involved in rucks (too often), and he gets that backline away smartly!
His stats belie his age, and the “kicking flyhalf” perception. His running meters, and offloads are the highest of any flyhalf in the tournament thus far, and he doesn’t even feature on the missed tackles list.
What more could one ask of a 10? That said, I don’t think he should be rushed into the bok team! But he can’t be far off, he certainly good enough!.

Goosen and Joe Pietersen are the outstanding SA players so far, along with Adriaan Strauss
Suddenly words such as ‘counter attack’ or ‘moving your backline’ are no longer associated exclusively with Gesie Pienaar, Joba or Honibal.
I am damn sure it won’t propagated into the Boks’ play style though
9 Apr 2012, 17:32 pm
As I said Hondo, I still feel its too early to be talking Boks for Goosen.
I would still currently prefer Steyn starting with Jantjies off bench. Lambie can focus on 15
9 Apr 2012, 18:17 pm
@Robzim(Robzim)-588:
yeah rob… read both your comments about ‘team argus’… carol sounds like a tough and determined but genuine and thorough lady… the very antithesis of a richbitch…
today was far cooler and way more leisurely… just an easy hike from the noordhoek side to the peak… views from the peak on days like today are something very special…
9 Apr 2012, 18:17 pm
Vetkoek
You are a fat cake
Call this a ploy, they were getting in charge of the game, controlling it at that point.
What stupid, stupid thing to say
9 Apr 2012, 18:23 pm
goosen is a prodigious talent who ticks all the boxes… and will be a very good bok in the near future…
personally though i wouldn’t pick him to face the england side… not because he is not old enough… i’m just not sure he is physically tough enough at the moment… he again went down on saturday for what looked like a rather innocuous clash…
i sincerely hope he is up to the physical rigors of international rugby because that is the only question mark i have about him… i would still let him complete a season of super rugby before considering him for bok duty… then phase him and jantjies in…
9 Apr 2012, 18:27 pm
I’d love the Stormers to put one over the Saders. We owe them big time for last season. Would make rotating/resting players for the Aus leg of their tour easier too.
9 Apr 2012, 18:48 pm
Seeing all the ‘my dogs bigger than yours my country’s won more than yours’ on this thread… have to credit new zealand with another fantastic win…
Congratulations to the winner, Andreas Derlrth (32) of New Zealand, after being crowned Mr GayWorld 2012 at the Grand Finale in Johannesburg on April 8. Derlrth was one of 25 men from around the world taking part in the competition.
So i guess it’s official then… New Zealand are the gayworld champs too…!!
wonder if the ABs will honour Andreas as fellow world champs…? maybe make him their spokesman or something similar…?
9 Apr 2012, 19:12 pm
@Papoose(papaown)-590:
I think he will be OK as long as you won’t team him up with Hougaard or FdP
He is a far better option than Styen or Jantjies and has an edge on Lambie IMO.
My preference would be Grant and Goosen as his backup
9 Apr 2012, 21:55 pm
Goosen is by far the best 10 in the country and so should start for the Boks.
9 Apr 2012, 22:12 pm
That there was no evidence sounds to me like the Scottish verdict of “Not proven”‘ I like New Zealanders but for me to accept that they are all men of integrity?? Who are you kidding? Not since the days of the punch drunk Skinner can you expect to be believed. Something happened …..
The Crusaders captain protests almost as loudly as their coach (They protest too loudly).
To whit his tactic is to attempt to intimidate the referee – the crusaders were palpably guilty of blocking and shepherding in the match against the Bulls and the penalties were protested equally loudly … Did I hear someone in the parapets squawk INTEGRITY , INTEGRITY. Or was it something fork tongued muttering in the grass.

Pretoria – The Bulls will not agree to a demand from Crusaders coach Todd Blackadder that they need to apologise after no evidence of eye-gouging was found by Sanzar’s judiciary system, High Performance and Media Manager Ian Schwartz said on Monday.
Blackadder told a post-match media briefing in Pretoria on Saturday that he expected an apology from the Bulls – a statement he repeated to the New Zealand media – should the allegations proved to be false.
According to Sanzar, no evidence on the matter could be sourced via video material available.
Sanzar CEO Greg Peters said there was no evidence to substantiate the claims after it was fully reviewed by the citing commissioner (Freek Burger) and the video evidence did not support any further action being taken.
“The Bulls are not interested in getting into a public spat with the Crusaders, as we always had the greatest respect for them and a very cordial relationship,” Schwartz said.
The Bulls are standing their ground on claims made by the players.
“The rules are clear and we applied them 100 percent correctly. We had the right to raise the matter with the referee and we accept the fact that there was no video evidence.”
He stressed that the Bulls’ players’ integrity is above reproach.
“I just want to say that our players’ integrity is just as important to us, as the Crusaders’ players integrity is to them. I feel the players will not make unfounded accusations unless something has happened.”
No apology will be extended.
“For them to suggest we must now apologise, just because there is no video evidence available, would mean we have lied. It is ridiculous to suggest that every time there is a citing and there is not enough evidence, the other team should apologise. It is a pity they have raised the matter through the media, as our doors of communication with them has always been open for a direct approach. We would have followed the official and appropriate channels.”
9 Apr 2012, 22:41 pm
I agree wholeheartedly with them btw.
9 Apr 2012, 22:52 pm
I’m watching highlights of bulls/saders game, do yourself a favor and watch between 35 – 38 minute mark.
Jaque potgieter made a tackle on carter, flynn or saders prop then cleared potgieter then on purpose grabbed/gouged bulls player face and only left it when the ref said “hands off”.
How did the citing commissioner miss this?
Dirty kiwi filthy hobbit-scum.
9 Apr 2012, 22:54 pm
@stormersboy(stormersboy)-602: DITTO! Good post.Sharks support the Bulls (on this one)
9 Apr 2012, 23:13 pm
@ 597 No ways. Boks don’t have a great record nurturing talented youngsters. Think derick hougaard, meyer bosman, ruan pienaar. They were picked very young and weren’t allowed to blossom. Why risk that with a guy who can convert kicks from 60+ metres (when he was 17 or 18).
For every larkham there’s an elton flatley.
For every mccaw thers a xavier rush.
9 Apr 2012, 23:58 pm
Citing commissioner saw nothing in the videos to substantiate the argument and why didn’t the BULLS management follow through with a written complaint in the four hour time frame they too have access to view the same video as the commissioner did they come up with the same conclusion as the commissioner i’m sure the Bulls management will not turn a blind eye if they saw such foul play after all their record is not too clean in mistermeaners the Question should be asked why instead of sitting on the fence and not saying a thing are they responsible for their player welfare and safety on the field don’t think so without a sound.
9 Apr 2012, 23:59 pm
@stormersboy(stormersboy)-601:
Good on the Bulls for their response to what is a very pathetic tactic by Blackadder…….. asking for a faaaking apology, what a doos!!
Butter would not melt…………… yeah right!
10 Apr 2012, 00:01 am
@peachy(peachy)-606:
The written complaint, I believe was not required but they are now saying they want it to happen going forward.
Bulls followed procedure, did Blackadder?
10 Apr 2012, 00:04 am
How absurd can these Kiwis get?
They are “men of integrity”.
Yeah right.
Which is why they use every dirty trick in the book to try and help their team to a win.
Sly obstruction of defenders. Shoulder charges galore (Guildford on Ndungane, clear as day), captain Integrity himself, Keiran Reid, pulling Vermaak back into a ruck when the Bulls were in a prime attacking position.
They are cheats. How they can claim to have this inborn sense of “integrity” boggles the mind.
Demanding an apology when our players raise a legitimate complaint, simply because the dirty deeds were done at the bottom of a ruck where the cameras don’t penatrate?
Laughable.
10 Apr 2012, 00:12 am
Blackadder raised the stakes on this one. He is the one who based his defense on his players’ sense of integrity.
Well, integrity stretches beyond whether you punch a guy or not. In fact, you can punch a guy honestly, and still be a “man of integrity” as Tod describes his men.
But you can’t be a man of integrity and then try and help your wing score a try by deliberately obsrtructing the opposing defender.
You can’t be a man of integrity – a captain of integrity in fact – and still pull the opposing scrumhalf back into the ruck to prevent the other team from getting quick ball 5 yards from your goal line.
You can’t be a man of integrity and play cheating rugby.
By that standard, the Crusaders have pretty much the lowest collective integrity in the entire competition.
10 Apr 2012, 00:22 am
after bees roux killed an innocent copper we really have to take anything that comes out of the bulls camp with a pinch of salt.that vuilgat,dean greyling,probably gouged both players.i mean this is a guy that had that crazy look in his eyes against the stormers when he tried to fight with the whole of the stormers pack.

Oh well, how nice it is to be blameless….what a bunch of LOSERS

10 Apr 2012, 04:34 am
I think this whole situation is great as the Crusaders have been on this pedestal of pitty and therefore everyone looks past their offenses as they felt sorry for them….that time is past now, you are just another rugby team again!

As per usual the Bok supporters
comments vary between
way over the top ,too, so far off the subject
thats a result of them being seriously blinded by their

10 Apr 2012, 06:34 am
the whole point of the white card was to streamline the citing process and do away with the teams having to take action as the refs and citing commissioners would deal with it…
now… mid-season… they’re basically going back to how it was before…?
except teams will now only apparently have 4 hours within which to react and submit a full report…
talk about turning 180 degrees…
please keo… or pissant… can you get clarity on this whole business and ask them why they are changing their minds…?

Don’t think so.
10 Apr 2012, 06:56 am
As I eluded to a few weeks back – it doesn’t matter what you do on a Rugby field if you are a Kiwi.
Cheating, obstruction, foul play..it’s just par for the course in NZ Rugby under the knowledge that the referees and administrators are under instruction not to intervene. If it had been an Australian or a South African they would have received 10 weeks but seeing it was a kiwi…they demand an apology for daring to question them.
Kiwis – the ugliest, low breeds in the Southern Hemisphere. Every game I watched on the weekend was laced with Kiwi teams cheating, obstructing, lying on the ball, entering from off side, taking out opposition players…and rarely getting penalised. Its a joke
10 Apr 2012, 06:57 am
@stormersboy(stormersboy)-631: I’m not a Stormers supporter but **** it was good to see them spanking the Highlanders. And indeed it was a spanking.

What happened last year has very little impact on this year…but you know that. Feel free to keep on teaching those Lions…pal!
10 Apr 2012, 07:11 am
@ufo(ufo)-627:
Idiots got it wrong again, so the ref rips out a white card and says to the captain he wants the citing commission to have a look at a tackle/klap/stomp/whatever because he is not sure…suddenly the opposing team needs to lodge an official report…on something the ref/touchie picked up…4 hours after the game!
But I refer you to Whatever, a sheep bleated and voila!

10 Apr 2012, 08:28 am
Thought it was weird when I read the Crusaders guy wanting an apology if no proof was found of any eye gouging, over the years and many citings there has been no proof of happens and now suddenly an apology is expected, a bit of a poopal and comes across as ”we are the Crusaders how very dare you suggest such a thing” entitlement.
10 Apr 2012, 08:36 am
@Tacitus(Deucalion)-610: See the righteous are out in force this morning – to state that we are consistent cheats is childish , this is an international rugby comp , if your guys dont know the laws of the game , send them to night classes to get some education
Secondly we always have issues at Loftus – must i mention the blantant forward pass 2 seasons ago that costs us a home semi ? Must i mention the the disallowed try in the 75 min of this game , must i mention K Reid being pinged for counter rucking in the 58 th min ? The list goes on ….. Then to start this eye gouging issue is an insult to any international sportsman and imo should be dealt harshly if it is true or harshly against a player for the accusation if it is false .
10 Apr 2012, 08:38 am
Got to love how the Saders countered the Bulls lineout driving maul – classis execution of the laws
10 Apr 2012, 08:45 am
@stew(stew)-641:
Almost as good as the 25m the Bulls made on another occassion, or the 15m, or…oh hang on, that classic execution of the laws worked once in 80 minutes.
Oh and bringing stuff up from TWO years ago, careful or else me might label you a whinger!
10 Apr 2012, 08:57 am
Poor stewie talking about a forward pass two years ago that came off a crusaders player.
And then moaning that Carter got rightly pinged for a very clumsy attempt at obstruction.
All because he’s had a very big mouth about the Crusaders all season.
Embraboer.
10 Apr 2012, 09:06 am
@Slartibartfast(Slartibartfast)-642: I am not the one whinging like other bloggers – Bulls have the win fact
10 Apr 2012, 09:34 am
@stew(stew)-640:
bullshit.
If a player has been gouged why should he shut up?
your boys are thugs.
and as for this little beaut….
“I am not the one whinging like other bloggers”
Secondly we always have issues at Loftus – must i mention the blantant forward pass 2 seasons ago that costs us a home semi ? Dishonest as well a stupid?
That’s a lethal combo.
10 Apr 2012, 10:04 am
@stew(stew)-640:
Whilst many of the Bulls supporters are being over sensitive and self righteous I am afraid ou are now guilty of the same thing.
I am not a bulls supporter but in this instance I see nothing they have done wrong.
The allegations were not found to be false. There was no video evidence.
Flip definitely got a finger near or in the eye. We just don’t know who of if it was intentional.
We don’t even know what allegation the bulls made because based on my limited rugby experience a player often does not know who or how the event happened.
It is of course possible that either a bulls player or a crusaders player accidentally stuck a finger in Flips eyes.
You are absolutely wrong about the protocol. It is simple.
Side 1 brings an event to refs attention
Ref refers it with awhile card
Side 1 can include it in their ref report if they want to.
Citing commissioner reviews and announces finding
Side 1 and 2 accept decision
Because there was no video evidence it does not follow that the bulls players lied.
And lying would be about as bad as deliberately gouging btw.
10 Apr 2012, 10:09 am
@stew(stew)-640:
yes,you are right, the crusaders usually do always have “issues” at loftus.
the “issue” is that the crusaders generally lose.
10 Apr 2012, 10:21 am
Seriously entering dangerous ground when players or coaches expect apologies for being unable to substantiate allegations of foul play with TV evidence. The fact remains that SA teams are the least likely to involve the citing commissioner, in fact we have a history of just sucking it up and moving on sometimes to our own detriment. The Bulls management didnt have to make a formal complaint in this case as the referee had handled the situation very well and there was no need to stoke the fire.
At the end of the day nobody has suffered any harm or do some idiots out there believe that once the accusation was made all the crusaders players intensity dropped because their feelings were hurt?
Todd Blackadder should be charged with misconduct for his disgraceful attempt to sway any pending decision by the citing commissioner. He could have just kept his mouth shut and then taken the high ground once the decision was made.
Perhaps it is time for SA teams to start citing teams whose players never use their arms in tackles. There were a few examples of Maori exocet shoulder charges all unpunished this week.
10 Apr 2012, 10:31 am
@Brigadier Van Zyl(Brigadier Van Zyl)-647: LOL !
10 Apr 2012, 10:47 am
Something fishy about these accusations of the Bulls. Firstly, Chilli Boy was as calm as a Sunday afternoon stroll when he was allegedly being gouched to death. Same with Flip. No pushing or shoving, or even a fight breaking out. Then afterwards, with two players upset and gouched, the Bulls don’t lay a complaint at all. Nothing? I’m just saying it is clear that this was an upsetting thing for the Bulls. Pierre Spies twice being called by his players about being gouched. Why did the Bulls organization not go to the full extent and give the commissioner full details with a complaint?
Also, you guys are saying things about Todd, but he is standing up for his players. Bulls didn’t push for their players. Bulls made the accusation, then they must prove and push it to the full extent. It’s like a collegue walking into your office and saying you stole from them, then walking out the room and doing and saying nothing further about the accusation. No details, nothing.
10 Apr 2012, 12:09 pm
@rossoneri(rossoneri)-650: Maybe the Bulls were fast on the draw and reviewed the same footage shown tonight in NZ on the rugby show Reunion. Flippie minus blood enters the fray, contact occurs during which any eye gouging would have been clear to see and wasn’t, he then emerges with blood around the eye. I think you used to get something in SA called “wrap from downunder”, a combination of the Oz Rugby Club and NZ Reunion. Have a look and make up your own mind. You seem more logical than some of the emotional posters here and are obviously capable of drawing an unbiased decision for yourself.
10 Apr 2012, 12:34 pm
Look as dirty and guilty as these Crusaders are,they are not dumb.
As usual with New Zealanders they do their dirty work and skullduggery in the dark where no one can ping them.
Unlike our boneheads, like Schalk Burger who gouges out in the open in front of the ref then rolls over and does it again for the other camera.
The rules of the game unfortunately are that if there is no evidence you are not guilty.
10 Apr 2012, 12:43 pm
@mad eye(mad eye)-652: hehehe
10 Apr 2012, 12:51 pm
@whatever(whatever)-615:
I really cant understand why this thread is still going.
Blackadder has asked for an apology,silly i think. He should have said that in that same ruck one of his players were eye gouged as well. Then you guys will have something else to bleat about.
No fukn proof means not fukn guilty, it is in NZ anyway, you should know, you arrived on one of the packed flights from South Africa.
Give it a rest everyone, and Whatever, only time you rear ya ugly mug in here is when there could be a Kiwi in trouble.
10 Apr 2012, 12:54 pm
@mad eye(mad eye)-652:
First sentence you said the Crusaders are guilty and dirty.
The the last sentence you said they are innocent,which one is it?
10 Apr 2012, 12:56 pm
@mad eye(mad eye)-652: Lol, even Schalk would have a laugh at that one but maybe you should also try to see the tv footage mentioned above. The point is that it happens in the open, no dark ruck and anything like what you allude to.
Your stereotyping of the Crusaders as guilty and dirty is the very reason Todd wanted an apology if the Bulls accusations were unfounded. Accusations even when there is no evidence have a nasty habit of sticking when it suits some detractors, unless they are challenged.
10 Apr 2012, 13:01 pm
Dirty and guilty as all shite,but innocent through lack of evidence.
Thats the law innocent unless proven.
As innocent as Richard Loe who actually invented eye gouging and perfected it on his own countrymen,then appears on Reunion as a morals commentator.
10 Apr 2012, 13:05 pm
Chili and Flipper………………………………………The despicaBULLS.
10 Apr 2012, 13:10 pm
@Hurricane(Hurricane)-654: Yep, you are probably right about the need to move on. A professional outfit like the Crusaders would have moved on the minute they took off from Mr Tambo’s airport and they need to given what awaits them in CHC this weekend. Reunion gave big coverage of the Stormers performance in Dunners and not for nothing, voted Joe Peterson’s try as the try of the week. When the Stormers re-discover how to score tries like that on top of their rocksolid defence they become a formidable side. Going to be a cracker of a game on Saturday.
10 Apr 2012, 13:10 pm
Come to think of it old Richard was a Crusader too.

10 Apr 2012, 13:13 pm
Well it’s Official,
No evidence of a Crusader Gouging,
That exonerates the 15 Kiwi’s.

Which among them Gouged his own teammates?

10 Apr 2012, 13:41 pm
Sitting in the stands (with no commentary or the ref’s mic), both times it was hard for me to figure out why there was a stoppage in play as spies was addressing the ref. Flip & chilli’s body language tells a tale. Compare their reaction to that of adam byrnes’ accuser. That back was furious & gesticulating all over the place. My verdict – they were both gouged by a team mate.
10 Apr 2012, 13:45 pm
@out wide(out wide)-651: Thank you for letting me know. We in SA will get to watch Reunion tomorrow evening. I said to Transformation that knowing TJ he would have examined the incident properly for the viewers and more often than not one gets a better analysis than you would from Supersport. I’m keen to see the footage you mention.
10 Apr 2012, 13:46 pm
These Blue Bulls seem like good Christian gentllemen, they must be playing with a straight bat.
My cousin once accused his wife of sleeping with a Punjabi of very bad character and definitely not playing the straight bat.
They demmanded satisfaction at this slight and eventually was being settled in duel of a very gentlmanly fashion.
10 Apr 2012, 13:49 pm
The 2012 season has highlighted a lot of incidents at Loftus this year. First Keven is hit with a bottle by a fan, then accusations of eye gouging on two players in one match.
10 Apr 2012, 16:54 pm
I would like to see this settled the old way. Play another fixture this season.
Wont happen though because the men of integrity from christchurch wont make the playoffs.
Probably because they are scared of the retribution that will come their way, within the rules of course. Kiwi softies dont like retribution.
Imagine supporting a team that wont make the playoffs because they are scared!!!! Of course the NZ of SANZAR might recall Bryce for that match its their only chance
10 Apr 2012, 21:36 pm
Hey all you whinging, moaning lilly white, can do no wrong Jappies….what a sour faced lot you are, can’t even front up with hard evidence on the supposed ‘eye gouge’….I think it was a Bulls player that eye-gouged one of his own….that figures…so keep on moaning, just love that sound coming out of Jappie-land…oh and by the way we dont F*%K sheep, we do that to Jappies…haha

classic. SA accuses NZ of eye gouging? so flip gouges chilliboy and they cry foul?
10 Apr 2012, 23:08 pm
haha, so the kiwi responses are:
1. it was a ploy to put the losers off their game (i use losers as a term because thats what the crusaders are at loftus, losers).
2. the bulls players were gouged by their own teammates(surely one of the most brilliant pieces of kiwi supersleuthing in the history of the little island dwellers)
3. we want an apology! (because we NEVER cheat! seriously? the biggest cheats in the world are raised in nz to play rugby)

John Paul’s theory that the bulls gouged themselves is right up there with his namesakes theory that using condoms is a sin.
It would appear from the comments that his sheep, mother and sister finished a packet last night but for the life of me I cannot understand why he wants *** with a japanese person.

Yip we are a bad bunch after all we invented gouging, biting, stamping and cancer. In fact Dan Brown failed to mention that under his garments at the last supper Judas had a springbok jersey on.

what is really interesting is that while the guilty crusader player has escaped exposure and punishment (and shame) due to a lack of evidence… SOME kiwi posters are suggesting no evidence proves no crusader did anything wrong…
… and… still with no evidence…
in the same breath… suggest that it must have been a bulls teammate…!!
it would be laughable if it wasn’t so cringingly disturbing…t

Ridiculous little islanders…

@Heavens Game(Heavens Game)-691: Actually the Sheepshaggers should make good on their promise to boycott the next RWC… They won’t be missed at all.. Integrity in Test matches will rise exponentially as a result.
