Digby Ioane has served his five week suspension and lines up in midfield against the Blues on Friday.

Ioane was pinned for a dangerous tackle earlier in the competition and is one of three changes to the Reds side that lost against the Stormers last week.

He replaces the injured Ben Tapuai, with Ben Lucas starting at flyhalf in place of Sam Lane. In the forwards No.8 Radike Samo is dropped from the match 22 with Scott Higginbotham replacing him and Liam Gill and Beau Robinson completing the back row.

On the bench, Wallabies centre Anthony Faingaa makes his return from a foot injury.
