Punch earns Haskell suspension
1 May 2012
James Haskell has been suspended for three weeks for punching during the Highlanders’ match against the Cheetahs.
The loose forward was yellow carded for the offence during the game but a review of the incident saw him gain a steaper punishment from judicial officer Mike Heron. Haskell’s suspension sees him miss all matches up until and including the weekend of 19 May.
Haskell’s guilty plea, remorse shown and his impressive disciplinary record were factors in his sentence being reduced from five to three weeks, Heron said.

To admit that you lift shirts is admirable. I on the other hand prefer to lift skirts, but everyone is different.
@HG send him a pic of yourself. He’s into South African beef.

they couldnt even get out of their Pool, at their own World Cup. Much like their sh*thouse rugby team, if there had been any justice.

@RWC’11 was fixed(richardmarais)-101: Will have to send forwards into the breakdown, that will free up space for the backs.
Only thing is John O Neil and his Aussie friends will oppose it, because it is making rugby more like union and less like league.

Not sure if I ever met any Maoris. Met plenty of Samoans and Fijians.
Saw some cops from Manawatu (spelling?). Seemed kinda standoffish fellahs.
1 May 2012, 14:06 pm
@Porto(Porto)-111: I pity you then, to blame it all on your heritage is rather close minded..
whats the other half? Saffa? because as I pointed out to you, SA actually leads the world in domestic violence. so it could be that side of your “heritage” too..
1 May 2012, 14:09 pm
@poppa69(poppa69)-117: The other half is British. Regarding SA domestic violence, I take your word for it, I’ve never checked the stats

South Africa is of course a violent place in general terms and I would not be far off in saying that that it transfers onto the rugby field. It’s a side effect of our society.

@Porto(Porto)-127: Porto, I lived in NZ for 2.5 years. My wife was a kiwi before she passed. Generally I think they are genuine humble people. Love their sport and outdoor lifestyle. I think that why we like to argue with them because they are passionate about rugby…lol

@Hurricane(Hurricane)-126:
Sounds awesome. I know how generous you guys are as I have experienced your hospitality in East Timor with the Islanders working there. Did the clapping of hands and drank that brown tasteless liquid on many a night of debauchery. The Kiwi cops there could drink? Met a lovely lass who works as a cop in Christchurch….red hair and freckles. Tough as hell but soft where it counts
1 May 2012, 14:18 pm

@Hurricane(Hurricane)-128: You haven’t been paying attention; I’ve never been to NZ and I have no inclination to ever visit. I’m proud of being British, I just happen to have a half blood line throwback to the colonies. You’re absolutely correct, I am not a maori
