Landers lashed by injury

The Highlanders have suffered a triple injury blow with flank Doug Tietjens, No 8 Elliot Dixon and centre Shaun Treeby all ruled out for the rest of the season.

Tietjens injured a cruciate ligament in last week’s game against the Sharks, Dickson ruptured a pectoral muscle and Treeby fractured a cheekbone.

Coach Jamie Joseph faces some tough decisions ahead of an important match against the Hurricanes this week. The Highlanders are in sixth position on the overall log.
