Cheetahs lock cleared

A Sanzar Judicial Hearing has found Andries Ferreira not guilty of a dangerous tackle.
The Cheetahs lock was cited for dangerous play following the match against the Force on Saturday. But after considering the video footage the judiciary cleared Ferreira and he will be free to play against the Stormers this Saturday.
‘After careful consideration of the limited video evidence available and the testimony of the player, the Judicial Officer concluded that he was not convinced on the balance of probabilities that the player acted in breach of the said law. Accordingly the citing is dismissed,’ said Jannie Lubbe SC.
