Leicester dethrone Saracens

Leicester beat Saracens 24-15 on Saturday to earn a place in the Premiership final.

The result sees last year’s champions relinquishing their English title. Leicester will now play Harlequins in the tournament decider in two week’s time.

Teenage flyhalf George Ford kicked 14 points for the Tigers while Alesana Tuilagi and Steve Mafi scored tries. Owen Farrell booted five penalties for Saracens but the Watford side was clearly outplayed in the second half, scoring just three points.

Meanwhile, Harlequins’ qualification for the Premiership final, via a 25-23 win over Northampton, was far more dramatic. Joe Marler scored from a driving maul in the dying stages while a Nick Evans conversion secured the result.

Would have been as awesome game to watch, these two Bok killing teams head to head.
