Big wins for Wynberg, KES

While Paarl Gym won easily against Paul Roos, Paarl Boys’ received a good challenged in their duel with SACS. Boishaai only managed to record a 19-10 win over the southern suburb school. Drostdy and Boland Landbou downed Bishops (39-12) and Rondebosch (34-24) respectively.

In the Southern Cape, Oakdale and Outeniqua picked up wins over Daniel Pienaar (32-7) and Punt (40-8) respectively.

Grey PE fell to their second defeat of the year over consecutive weekends as Wynberg edged the fixture 22-21. The Cape Town visitors won in the dying stages in an entertaining game.

Queen’s continued their good run of form against Marlow (23-9), while Cambridge surprised with a 18-10 win over St Andrew’s.

Michaelhouse edged a dramatic 23-20 win over Maritzburg College.

Maritzburg College broke down a 20-8 deficit to level the scores at 20-20 late in the match. However, Michaelhouse slotted a three-pointer at the death to secure the victory.

DHS also beat St Charles 36-6.

KES are enjoying an impressive season so far as they earned another big win – this time a 15-11 away triumph against Monument. It was a closely-contested affair, but in the end, the boys from Johannesburg did enough for the win.

Kempton Park and Pretoria Boys’ also won against EG Jansen (24-18) and Jeppe (40-8) respectively.
