Schoolboy Derby looks at Saturday’s top 1st XV games from around the country.
WESTERN CAPE
While the schoolboy action in the other provinces is starting to die down ahead of Craven Week, the scene in the Western Cape is still in full swing until next weekend (16 June).
The major clashes will see Paarl Boys’ host Boland Landbou, while SACS tackle a strong Paarl Gym side, who are doing fine without star flyhalf Handre Pollard.
Wynberg also take on Bishops, while Paul Roos have an easy match against De Kuilen.

Dale face Cambridge while Queen’s duel against Stirling. The Kingswood-Muir clash should also be an exciting encounter.

While Glenwood and Maritzburg steal the spotlight, Kearsney will look to continue their fine form against Westville this weekend.
Michaelhouse and DHS also face each other in an historic KZN clash, that has been running for the past 105 years. DHS have won 70 of the 116 matches, while Michaelhouse have only won 40. However, the latter will be favourites this season.
