Schoolboy Derby reviews all the major 1st XV played over the weekend.
WESTERN CAPE
The Paarl powers won their fixtures of the weekend, with Boishaai downing Boland Landbou 20-10 and Gimmes recording a 28-13 triumph over a tough SACS outfit.
Paul Roos thrashed De Kuilen 55-0, while there were also wins for Wynberg and Tygerberg.

EASTERN CAPE
Queen’s dominated Stirling in a one-side contest, which they won 78-6. Kingswood also beat Muir convincingly (34-15), while St Andrew’s got the better of Selborne (16-8).
Dale returned to winning ways after their unbeaten streak was ended by Grey PE last weekend. They downed Cambridge 31-18 for their 13th win from 14 games.

The spoils were shared in Durban between Glenwood and Martizburg College. The Green Machine held the lead in the second half, but the visitors finished off strongly to force the 16-16 stalemate. Watch out for the return leg at Martizburg College on 4 August.
Kearsney continued their winning streak with an easy 20-3 win over Westville, while Michaelhouse continued their successful year with a 24-14 victory over DHS.

UP NORTH
Waterkloof downed Menlopark 47-34, while Garsfontein thrashed John Vorster 80-10.
There were also tight wins for St Alban’s, St Stithians and Centurion.

Westville’s promising season is falling apart!
Beat Glenwood the slowely going downhill, would love to know what’s happening there! Anyone can offer any thoughts?

Dark days at Bishops. Worst side ever. The hockey team, on the other, hand could become the best sports side in SA schools history! Ironic.

Yeah – BishopsOD did you see the Boishaai result last week vs Bishops? 85-5 , biggest loss in the 155 years of Bishops, the future doesn’t look much better as Paarl Boys’ won every single game from 14E to 1st team
