Schoolboy Derby reviews all the major 1st XV action from across the country.

WESTERN CAPE

The Paarl powers triumphed again as Boishaai downed Paul Roos 22-17 in Stellenbosch and Gimmies eased past Boland Landbou for a 38-13 victory.

In the south, Bishops beat Rondebosch 15-3 and Wynberg surprised with a comfortable 26-16 victory over SACS.

EASTERN CAPE

St Andrew’s won their K-Day derby with a convincing 43-19 thrashing of Kingswood.

Graeme and Despatch also won their fixtures.

KZN

Kearsney surrendered a late lead to lose to Michaelhouse 21-20. St Charles were beaten by Hilton.

UP NORTH

Pretoria Boys’ and Waterkloof represented their city well as they beat St Alban’s (26-22) and Eldoraigne (34-28) respectively. Garsfontein continued their impressive run as they picked up a 45-14 drubbing of Menlopark.
