Visser double downs Fiji
16 Jun 2012
Wing Tim Visser scored two tries on debut to help Scotland to a 37-25 win over Fiji on Saturday.
Scotland held a 24-11 half-time lead. Fiji fought back strongly in the second stanza but it was Visser’s second try in the 72nd minute that put the game out of the hosts’ reach.
This good result follows Scotland’s historic win against Australia in Newcastle last week. Flyhalf Greg Laidlaw scored all of the points in that encounter, and managed to bank 22 points in this subsequent Test against Fiji.
