Youngs to miss final Test
18 Jun 2012
England scrumhalf Ben Youngs has sustained a shoulder injury and will not be available for the third Test against South Africa.
Youngs scored two tries in England’s defeat at Ellis Park, but picked up a shoulder injury. Coach Stuart Lancaster has responded by calling Harlequins No 9 Karl Dickson into the greater squad. He may be rushed into the match 22 for the game against the Northern Barbarians, which takes place on Tuesday.
Youngs’ injury should see Danny Care or Lee Dickson starting against the Springboks in this Saturday’s Test in Port Elizabeth.
