Baby Boks get skipper back

SA U20 head coach Dawie Theron has made three changes to his starting line-up that will face New Zealand in the Junior World Championship final.
Up front, captain and flank Wiaan Liebenberg returns to the run-on XV after struggling with a wrist injury. As a result, star openside flank Shaun Adendorff, who’s been nominated for the IRB Junior Player of the Year award, falls out.
In the backline, wing Raymond Rhule comes in for Paul Jordaan, who’s out with a hamstring injury. Outside centre Kobus van Wyk will make his first tournament appearance as he replaces William Small-Smith, who’s sidelined with a leg injury.

@pompies2(pompies2)-46: Yeah. Although both hookers have done pretty well in open playa at times, they have failed in their primary responsibilty. Just not good enough
The scrumhalf and hooking positions this year have been a big worry unlike last year where we had Mbonambi & van Vuuren as hookers and Rademan & Jacobs as scrummies.

If the baby Boks want to win tomorrow, they’ll need to find that something else in the 1st half already.

Their forwards aren’t as dynamic and their backline lack the magical players they seemed to have in the last few years. I reckon it will be close.

I am gobsmacked that Adendorff is on the bench. More disturbing is the scrumhalf Vian van der Watt who has been useless in every game. The only standout feature of this guy is his pair of neon pink boots. If he is the best No 9 in this age group in SA, then we are in the dwang!

what with some these coaches that don’t know their best players available
and the scrummy is SLOW
go into your first final already carrying some compromising selections and you want to beat NZ.. you cannot carry ONE player at that level let alone a couple or few.
Baby Boks and Boks up for some tough games this weekend, hope they realize what they up against..
Can’t take second best options into a big test and then still expect best results from 2nd best selections.

Face the facts, pilgrim. The only 3 players of any quality in this Baby Bok side will not be on the pitch against the Blacks. Small-Smith and Jordaan are streets ahead of any other juniors in the country whilst Adendorff, the real hero in this side who got them to the finals through sheer grit, sits on the bench to keep the politicians satisfied they’ve done their bit for transformation.

Well well well! Chatter on keo.co.za has been relatively peaceful since our tumultuous exchanges of a few days ago so for all those who doubted my assertion that the common denominators of all the unpleasantness on this site are indeed Heavens Games, Predawn and Fern, I ask you if it is merely coincidence that these three despicable posters have been largely absent during this period of strife free fun banter all around and largely unanimous support for Heyneke Meyer and the Boks and Baby Boks? It is good to see the Sharks fans and Stormers fans (mostly) all showing restraint and focussing more on the rugby and fun banter. It is also good to see news that would normally attract a lot of hateful remarks being treated with such balance and circumspection. I told you all I was correct about who causes the trouble here. Be as indignant as you like Treehugger but the proof has been served up in the pudding for you and you can ignore the truth but you can not change it. It has nothing to do with me being arrogant but has everything to do with me serving up the truth to you honestly without fear of being ridiculed by anyone on this site or the doubters like you.
There is just one more person who needs to exposed as an originator of trouble and ill feeling on this site and that is Capo now using stormerforlife1. You may come from the opposite extreme of the above mentioned three but you are just as extremely unpleasant and despicable as them. Everyone knows this but like them your stench hangs around like the smell of dog **** on your shoe when you walk inside.
