Blues wing Rudi Wulf has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a shoulder injury.

Wulf has been struggling with the injury for several weeks, and a scan has revealed that he will be unable to play without risking further damage. Wulf will undergo surgery this week.

He will not be available for the Blues’ last two matches. The Auckland franchise are thin on back three options at present with David Raikuna, George Moala and Isaia Toeava all out with serious injuries.
