Weepu back for Blues

Piri Weepu will start for the Blues in their match against the Force in Auckland on Saturday.

Coach Pat Lam has made four changes to his starting side from the one from that played a month ago. Weepu, who had fallen out of favour, returns at scrumhalf, while captain Keven Mealamu plays his first Blues game in nearly three months.

With locks Anthony Boric, Ali Williams and Filo Paulo all injured, Andrew Van der Heijden has been brought in to start. Charles Piutau will make his Super Rugby debut at fullback.

    cant wait for this season to end, the blue dragons are almost as useless as SA’s bokkes at last years world cup… but hey, SA did finish in eigth spot, a few higher than the Blues will..

    a moral victory for the neanderthals of world rugby I guess..

    I will just be chuffed to see the Blues win, they owe me something on Spuerbru, as I have been loyal to them as per usual, ALL season, backing them for a win every week (even though I knew the cause was lost……)
