Griffons, Kings grab back-to-back wins

The Griffons and EP Kings top the Currie Cup First Division log after triumphs over the Leopards and SWD respectively.
The Griffons hold first place in the standings after their second bonus-point victory. After thrashing the Valke 37-27 last weekend, they eased past the Leopards 41-20 in Welkom.
Wing Reinhardt Erwee was the star for the hosts, scoring a try, three conversions and five penalties for a personal tally of 26 points.
The EP Kings are the other unbeaten team in the competition as they downed SWD 38-15 in Port Elizabeth. The victors also scored four tries for the bonus point.
Flyhalf George Whitehead was key in the win as he scored a try and kicked three conversions and four penalties.
In other results, the Valke picked up a 33-11 away win over the Border Bulldogs in East London, while the Pumas thumped defending champions Boland 33-10.
