Aaahh! Getting elegantly wasted, I seem to be doing that on average once a week, a lot of fun…..late afternoon, a couple of friends, munkeys playing around you, the sound of the jakkals yipping as they prepare to come prowling in the evening, watching the game on the hill of neighboring gamefarm. This is not done cos the pink chit or pink champs tastes good but for about 2 hrs of fun and unwinding, friends toodle of home, bath, bed, dinner and tv…………good times…….life is good.

The Public Investment Corp (PIC) is the pension fund for government workers.

I’m told that they are the largest holders of JSE listed stock in SA. I was given a number of between 10 and 15% of the total JSE capitalization is held by the PIC.

So civil service workers collectively hold over 10% of the JSE?

And no wealth is being transferred?
