Sensational Sharks smash Reds
21 Jul 2012
JON CARDINELLI reports on the Sharks’ 30-17 hammering of the Reds in Saturday’s play-off in Brisbane.
After the Bulls’ dismal effort in Christchurch, the Sharks have turned in a rousing physical performance to not only keep their own title hopes alive, but those of a nation.
The resounding victory in Brisbane has set up a semi-final showdown against the Stormers. What this means is that one South African team will definitely progress to the grand final on 4 August.
The Stormers will be difficult to beat in Cape Town, but the Sharks will fancy their chances given the manner of victory at Suncorp Stadium.
It was a superior forward performance that set the platform for what will go down as one of the great Sharks Super Rugby victories. On the back of that forward dominance, the Sharks piled on the points in the first half, and defended like demons in the second.
Some might say that the Sharks had their fair share of luck in this encounter. Indeed, Reds coach Ewen McKenzie would have felt a strong sense of dejavu as starting flyhalf Ben Lucas was carried off in the 21st minute, an injury that forced star scrmhalf Will Genia to shift to No 10.
Lucas had been ineffective while he was on the park, and it didn’t help that his forwards were copping a hiding at the collisions and breakdowns. The Reds certainly missed Quade Cooper’s decision making in that key position, and after Lucas cried off with injury, the Reds also missed Genia’s impact at No 9.
But while this certainly worked in the Sharks’ favour, the visitors made a great deal of their own luck. Travelling across the world for this fixture was never going to be easy, and doing so without Frans Steyn and Pat Lambie was expected to detract from their performance.
They went into the game as underdogs, but from the first whistle they showed the mongrel, desire and precision to win the key battles and eventually the match.
Apart from the raw power at the collisions (the Sharks pack was superb and the decision to play Willem Alberts at No 4 was vindicated), the decision making by the heavies was a real highlight.
The Sharks forwards would place their counterparts under pressure at the rucks, force the turnover and then produce some dazzling offloads that kept the movement alive.
They converted every early opportunity, racing to a 10-0 lead inside 13 minutes. By the half-hour mark they were 20-3 up, Freddie Michalak nailing a drop goal to keep the scoreboard ticking.
Genia would leave his mark on this match with an important play moments later. Spotting Jannie du Plessis defending on the wing, Genia directed play left and linked up smartly with Scott Higginbotham. The Wallabies loosie delivered the final pass to Genia, and at 20-10 the Reds were still in with a chance.
The period before and after half-time belonged to the Reds, but they were undone by their high-error rate as well as some stunning Sharks defence.
In fact, it was a sharp piece of pressure defence that created the Sharks’ next try, Charl McLeod reading the play beautifully and picking off a Genia pass.
The scrumhalf raced 75m to score, and at 27-10, the whole complexion of the game changed again. Another Sharks score would win the game, and the Reds would resort to some desperate tactics in an attempt to close that massive gap.
They turned down numerous shots at goal in search of a seven-pointer that would bring them closer, but their inability to win the collisions cost them at every turn.
While the Sharks spent almost the entire third quarter defending in their own territory, their ferocity at the point of contact was as rabid as was at the start of the game. They turned the Reds over from five metres out on several occasions, and again it was sharp decision making that cut down the Reds’ attacking space.
The Sharks had a further chance to score when Lwazi Mvovo broke from deep to spark a great period of attacking rugby with the offload in contact again a prominent feature. The ball eventually flew to the hapless Meyer Bosman, who tripped over his own feet and fell agonisingly short of the tryline. Fortunately for the Sharks, it was a gaffe that didn’t cost them on the scoreboard.
The Reds finished strongly in the final five minutes, but by then the result was beyond doubt. Radike Samo crossed the tryline and Genia converted, but all this served to do was lend some respectability to the scoreline.
The Sharks were more dominant that the final scoreline suggested, and that final try will not detract from what was their best defensive performance in 2012.
Scorers:
Reds – Tries: Will Genia, Radike Samo. Conversions: Mike Harris, Genia. Penalty: Harris.
Sharks – Tries: JP Pietersen, Paul Jordaan, Charl McLeod. Conversions: Freddie Michalak (3). Penalties: Michalak (2). Drop goal: Michalak.

21 Jul 2012, 11:57 am
JPP’s rejuvenation continues. Talk about a purple patch
Would honestly LOVE the Sharks to hit Newlands next wekeend.
Side note: Saia Fain’ga is one of the most irritating twats in rugby.

Where’s Jean Deysel , he would be ideal for second half fresh legs.
21 Jul 2012, 12:10 pm
Don’t go to sleep Saaarks,
21 Jul 2012, 12:10 pm
@AiDoc-32: Durban born oke reffing Durbanite playoff. Ridiculous like Sydneyboy Stuey reffing the Waratahs a few times not so long ago.
Do not get me wrong, Sharks are clearly better side today and look set to win comfortably, just Kaplan – of all people – should not be there.
21 Jul 2012, 12:11 pm
@NZINCHINA-56:
Stormers are not the reds- they are all out of sorts at moment.
21 Jul 2012, 12:12 pm

Nice drop.
If only Alberts had some sort of handling skills he’d be unplayable!!!
21 Jul 2012, 12:14 pm
@Nils-63: Too right he shouldn’t – least of all because he is rubbish these days and misses everything
21 Jul 2012, 12:16 pm
Not 5m on the throw, then lost forward and Kaplan misses the LOT
21 Jul 2012, 12:17 pm
We playing so well right now any team playing against us would look cr*p
21 Jul 2012, 12:18 pm
GREAT TURNOVER
21 Jul 2012, 12:18 pm
Dammit is Kankowski ineligible for the Boks as he’s going to Japan?? Cos he is the form 8th man in SA.
21 Jul 2012, 12:19 pm
kankowski is good enough to be a real kiwi, not the mercenaries that represent the wannabes
21 Jul 2012, 12:19 pm
@goyougoodthing2-71: No, because of his residence.
IMHO, he is one of the best SA can offer (Waratahs won’t agree though), so I do not have serious beef against him as a ref, there are hordes of way worse around. He just should not be right here.
And geez, how this site SUCKS today.
21 Jul 2012, 12:19 pm
FORWARD as allfuck
21 Jul 2012, 12:20 pm
papuan over in the corner
21 Jul 2012, 12:21 pm
Sharks better not let any complacency slip in here, as they will be f ecking up a dream semi-final at Newlands next weekend.
21 Jul 2012, 12:21 pm
Oh, do we have a game?
Please, Reds, let the Crusaders have another crack at Stormers. Please.
21 Jul 2012, 12:22 pm
@goyougoodthing2
wearing your heart on your sleeve is no crime but black hearts hardly qualify! The israeli is a saffa ref
21 Jul 2012, 12:23 pm
@AiDoc-82: So forward passes are fine>
21 Jul 2012, 12:24 pm
@goyougoodthing2-78: LOL, last time it was all Crusaders, now Reds exclusively.
Do you have a second eye supplied?
21 Jul 2012, 12:24 pm
Geez Genia is a genius. Kaplan assisting the Sharks with some decisions but overall the Sharks deserve to be ahead. Excellent first half from them.
21 Jul 2012, 12:25 pm
Good game.
21 Jul 2012, 12:25 pm
It’s a flood here in cape town so it’s bloody great we have no rugby this weekend. Go sharks. Next weekend awaits .
21 Jul 2012, 12:26 pm
good start for the sharks,game is not over by any means.
we must keep our structure,discipline and defense
subs are going to be crucial in second half and we also need to play in the right half of the field.
go sharks!
21 Jul 2012, 12:27 pm
@Nils-84: Not at all… I think Jordaan was lucky, the last pass from Keegan looked forward too.
21 Jul 2012, 12:27 pm
The Sharks better be very careful here- Reds seem to be waking up after everything went wrong for them including losing a a flyhalf and a hooker to injuries Genia is a genius-no scrumhalf in world comes close to him.
Go Sharks!!
21 Jul 2012, 12:28 pm
Genia to Higenbotham was about 2m forward in that try. Ref was right there and in line. Very odd.
21 Jul 2012, 12:28 pm
@goyougoodthing2
The reaction not the action. In 2007 and 1985 what were your reactions to refereeing nonsensities. Lomu was being tackled from behind, in 1985, before the ball reached him. Nuf said about 2007
21 Jul 2012, 12:30 pm
@AiDoc-92: 2007 – are you kidding me… what a sad tosser you are… are you not worldchumps now thanks to a little kiwi manipulation of games
21 Jul 2012, 12:30 pm
@Nils-81:
You might have to wait for the final for that. Please be patient.
21 Jul 2012, 12:31 pm
Shaaaaaaaaaaaaks!!
Game not over yet, but the sharks would be extremely disappointed to lose it from here.
Next week the stormers are going to have to play out their skins to beat the sharks, who are by far the best SA team left in the comp when they decide to play.
I am a stormers supporter btw.
21 Jul 2012, 12:31 pm
@ goyougoodthing2
I am a neutral not a Kiwi at all. But thanks for the compliment
21 Jul 2012, 12:32 pm
@>^..^< katman-91:
Yeah looked like it……but then i reslised that the Camera is not even in line with the players or pass.
21 Jul 2012, 12:33 pm
@AiDoc-96:
he has ref issues Hondo II
21 Jul 2012, 12:33 pm
@AiDoc-96: ha ha … Kaplan actually lives in Cape Town now… he’s like the AustroKiwi Drunkard referee the Ozzies have now in that regard… and I think he has been poor this year
21 Jul 2012, 12:34 pm
@goyougoodthing2-93:
Nope, we are World Champs. Need to get that keyboard of yours sorted.
21 Jul 2012, 12:35 pm
@goyougoodthing2-89: Now you are talking. It seemed to me, too. In that case, both cancelled each other.
@IAAS-94: No probs, if that happens. Would be nice, too.
21 Jul 2012, 12:35 pm
Come on Saarks, you need to pull your head out a bit
21 Jul 2012, 12:36 pm
@Nils-101: Fair call.
Gentlemen… yes I have ref issues… sorry

21 Jul 2012, 12:40 pm
Point – as he is suspended Cooper – or any suspended player – should not be allowed to play ay role… even coaching IMHO
21 Jul 2012, 12:40 pm
Keep it up Sharks. Oh to hear the sound of numerous Mormon ^5′s on the lawns…….
21 Jul 2012, 12:40 pm
Higginbotham is such a waynekerr
21 Jul 2012, 12:40 pm
@goyougoodthing2-103: No probs, just keep on not forgetting to mention the other side for a change.
21 Jul 2012, 12:41 pm
@goyougoodthing2-108:
are you for real?
21 Jul 2012, 12:42 pm
Terrible idea Saarks wtf are you doing
21 Jul 2012, 12:43 pm
@NZINCHINA-112: Yep, serious… think that would be fair in a future competition… suspension should mean it.. just thinking about it… no issue with Cooper there today
21 Jul 2012, 12:46 pm
My sharkies defending like warriors !
21 Jul 2012, 12:46 pm
@goyougoodthing2-114: Stop acting like a pair of panties at a Bieber show. You whinge, moan, nitpick and wail as if you are at a funeral. Your team are winning – sit back and enjoy it.
21 Jul 2012, 12:47 pm
I thought only kiwi sides infringed what a farken joke, yellow the cheating pricks.
21 Jul 2012, 12:48 pm
Kaplan missing everything
21 Jul 2012, 12:49 pm
At least the sharks are showing that there is some hope for the boks, Meyer had better get his blue tinted glasses off when he selects his side for the 4N championship.
21 Jul 2012, 12:49 pm
Sharks really lucky to get away without a yellow after so many infringements in a row! Defending well though.
21 Jul 2012, 12:49 pm
You are KIDDING ME wtf was that Charl
21 Jul 2012, 12:50 pm
great defence shorks tbut what a waste after dominating the reds scrum
21 Jul 2012, 12:51 pm
omg who is the tmo?
21 Jul 2012, 12:51 pm
Try… surely
21 Jul 2012, 12:52 pm
@goyougoodthing2-121:
your team is cheating, why no comment?
21 Jul 2012, 12:52 pm
Huge storm in Cape Town southern suburbs. Keeps knocking my DSTV out. Can’t watch the game – so frustrating.
21 Jul 2012, 12:53 pm
WOW what a huge call… let’s see this scrum now
21 Jul 2012, 12:53 pm
camera angle 1 shows Him over the line.
Camera angle 2 shows him place the ball.
What’s so inconclusive?
Can’t put 1 and 1 together?
21 Jul 2012, 12:53 pm
Oh dear. An Aussie tv ref handing the Sharks a lifeline!
21 Jul 2012, 12:54 pm
@NZINCHINA-125: Show me where
21 Jul 2012, 12:54 pm
I wouldn’t call it a lifeline, they’re still comfortably in the lead!
21 Jul 2012, 12:55 pm
Terrible call from Kraplan
21 Jul 2012, 12:55 pm
@goyougoodthing2-130:
exactly you dont have a leg to stand on, Sharks should have been carded for intentional infringements, so give it a rest about other teams
21 Jul 2012, 12:57 pm
Kaplan has farked this up, glad its not Bryce he’d have been shot by now.
21 Jul 2012, 12:57 pm
Pull your lead in Pencil, you talking cr*p
21 Jul 2012, 12:58 pm
@NZINCHINA-133: Not the Sharks… they may have more yellows that any other team but they NEVER CHEAT
21 Jul 2012, 12:59 pm
btw gygt
The kiwis have been found to be the most honest people in the world, by the un, for the past three surveys.
21 Jul 2012, 13:00 pm
Kaplan has his own offside rules- it’s called the “no-offside” for black.
21 Jul 2012, 13:01 pm
@goyougoodthing2-136:
like I said you don’t have a leg to stand on
21 Jul 2012, 13:01 pm
@NZINCHINA-134: You mean like missing the NFL style forward pass that led to the only Reds try, noodle?
21 Jul 2012, 13:01 pm
Sharks looking great. Everything they try is paying off.
21 Jul 2012, 13:01 pm
there was a forward pass by the shorks undetected, Mind you the reds don’t want to scrum
21 Jul 2012, 13:02 pm
@Robzim-138:
yip what a joke
21 Jul 2012, 13:02 pm
@135
What exactly did I say which was ****?
Please clarify.
21 Jul 2012, 13:03 pm
@>^..^< katman-140:
cmon biltong boy the reffing is terrible and the Shorks should have been carded
21 Jul 2012, 13:04 pm
BOSMAN… IS so shytehe ccan’t score with an open line…
21 Jul 2012, 13:05 pm
@Robzim-138: I am looking forward to the semi-final build up. Will the Sharks be bringing Kaplan with them to Newlands? And will Sharks_Lover still try and convince all and sundry that Kaplan hates the Sharks (for a reason that he (SL) apparently knows).
21 Jul 2012, 13:05 pm
The Reds are getting Bryced
21 Jul 2012, 13:05 pm
@AiDoc-137: The UN? ffs I wouldn’t trust those bstards
21 Jul 2012, 13:06 pm
@NZINCHINA-145: Perhaps, but then the try should not have stood either. That would be 27-3, but with the Sharks down to 14 for 10 minutes. Can we agree on this?
21 Jul 2012, 13:06 pm
Stormers fans blaming the ref.
21 Jul 2012, 13:07 pm
if the shorks beat the schtormers, the final is in NZ
21 Jul 2012, 13:07 pm
I’m surprised that Kaplan didn’t blow the Sharks for offside yet….
21 Jul 2012, 13:08 pm
I hope they don’t do a proteaser here. Cmon shorks
21 Jul 2012, 13:09 pm
What did I tell you about Kraplan… he is USELESS
21 Jul 2012, 13:10 pm
151 @ Gunther
We want the Sharks @ Newlands. It doesn’t matter if the ref is having a shocker!
21 Jul 2012, 13:11 pm
Shocker or not the right team is about to win the game.
21 Jul 2012, 13:12 pm
@Pee Wee-156: Careful what you wish for.
21 Jul 2012, 13:12 pm
@the artist formerly known as gunther-151:
Kaplan is playnig into our hands. It will be much better to play a tired Sharks team next week than a fresh saders team who did not even break a sweat today .
21 Jul 2012, 13:13 pm
@the artist formerly known as gunther-151: Nah. It’s beautiful to be honest (although cynical…). It sets up a wonderful little get together at rugby HQ next Saturday……
It really is a treat to host the Sharks and their fans down here – the circus pulls into town and local Sharks fans up their game big time.
Guaranteed we will see an additional 150 Hummers on the streets of CT this week, emblazoned with Sharks stickers, flags and fluffy toys hanging from mirrors.
Very special
21 Jul 2012, 13:14 pm
2 FORWARD PASSES IN ONE MOVE… KRAPLAN… If I were a Red I would be livid
21 Jul 2012, 13:14 pm
JPP lucky. The israeli sucks!
Ludic you hero
21 Jul 2012, 13:14 pm
Ludick was good tonight.
21 Jul 2012, 13:15 pm
Congratulations Sharks, better team on the day.
My MOTD – Keo. 2 playoffs involving SA teams and his site is left full of ****.
21 Jul 2012, 13:15 pm
@Pee Wee-156: Tired travelling Sharks…..vs ‘didn’t have to do much’ Crusaders?
No brainer who the Stormers want.

Plumtree rules
21 Jul 2012, 13:16 pm
Sharks playing well both on attack and defense. the reds might have been a bit complacent coming into this one. Hope the stormers are watching
final stormers v chiefs
21 Jul 2012, 13:17 pm
The sharks have handled Digby very well. They’ve made him look quite impotent with ball in hand.
21 Jul 2012, 13:17 pm
158 @ Tuna
You can’t tell me you’re not looking forward to a Stormers / Sharks semi? I’m relishing the prospect!
21 Jul 2012, 13:18 pm
Well Done Sharks…. BOOM BOOM DYNAMITE…
Welcome to Newlands…
At least we will have a SAFFA team in the final…
Well done Shark Supporters your team was superb. Showed guts and you could see they turned up to win…
Hip Hip Hoorah…
21 Jul 2012, 13:18 pm
Best defence I have ever seen by the Saaaaaarks.
21 Jul 2012, 13:19 pm
Jonny boy- a hellow after 80 min’s.. hahaha .. how ironic
21 Jul 2012, 13:20 pm
What a fantastic performance and I was spot on with my predictions… Sharks win – Bulls loss…
I raise my glass to the Sharks…
30 – 17 a good win…
21 Jul 2012, 13:21 pm
well done Sharks!
I dont think this game took this much out of us,may well keep the momentum going…
maybe the stormers will. be ring rusty
who knows?
bring on saturday!
21 Jul 2012, 13:21 pm
Nice one Sharks.
Now the Aussies can go back and watch their domestic comp… oh wait, DERP.
@Pee Wee-169: Actually I am. I’m just wondering if the Stormers will buckle again in another pressure situation. Should be good match at a good time… these only morning games are a downer.
21 Jul 2012, 13:21 pm
@goyougoodthing2-171:
Ja, that is true.
Going to be a moers battle next week.
21 Jul 2012, 13:22 pm
kiwi coaches beat kiwis as players. QLD crowd is a disgrace!!
21 Jul 2012, 13:23 pm
Well done Sharks , winning a play-off away from home is no easy task.
See you at Newlands.
21 Jul 2012, 13:23 pm
@Robzim-172: Come on, that’s when the cynical infringement happened. What was he supposed to do? Card him after 60 minutes for offenses yet to be committed?
21 Jul 2012, 13:24 pm
@Robzim-176:
Nothing better than a local derby… Gonna be one fantastic game…
I hope you Sharks supporters bought your tickets, as they will be sold out by now…
21 Jul 2012, 13:24 pm
Sharks simply outplayed Reds in every facet of the game.
Gonna be epic at Newlands
STOOOOORMEEEEEERS!!!!
21 Jul 2012, 13:25 pm
Well done Sharks. Great performance and big credit to Plumtree for his gameplan. Definetely caught the Reds out in the first half.
21 Jul 2012, 13:25 pm
Good win Sharks.
Expect a proper welcome next weekend. It’ll be one hellava scrap.
And keo. If you tell me to slow down once more, I’m gonna vomit.
21 Jul 2012, 13:26 pm
Stormers fans are worried – and rightly so
21 Jul 2012, 13:27 pm
Well done Sharks. Good performance. Let’s hope for a good match next week and hopefully a good performance by the referee as well, whoever he might be.
21 Jul 2012, 13:27 pm
Have a feeling that a lot of Stormers fans are not happy theSharks won, even blaming the ref. Sharks have travelled away to play a side with more than 1/2 the Oz side and all you hear on this site is complaints about the ref. Pathetic really. Lynagh evens says a very deserved win
21 Jul 2012, 13:28 pm
well done the sharks, played extremely well. that kiwi influence is showing, and never been a doubt in my mind SA teams can play that way too …Uce seen them play that way
bulls unlucky, thought peyper was worried about bias, and seemed imo to punish the bulls early somewhat.
saffa vs kiwi in the final
as it should be
Kia kaha the final four
21 Jul 2012, 13:28 pm
Genia crying like a baby… poor sport, like the crowd
21 Jul 2012, 13:28 pm
@IAAS-183:
If the Sharks go on and win this thing it will go down as the greatest houdini act in the history of Super Rugby…
Travel to Brisbane
Come to Newlands
…off to NZ…
21 Jul 2012, 13:30 pm
Congratulations, Sharks, for a well-deserved win! It was never in doubt, and you have sounded a warning of note to us.
However, all pretence is now over! We are gonna whip your hineys next week. We intend to shut you up as our biggest critics.
It’s now or never, so may the baiting on this site go out of control. Someone’s gonna cry, either way!
21 Jul 2012, 13:30 pm
The better team won. If they win next week though, they will have to travel to nz for the GF
21 Jul 2012, 13:31 pm
@bananaboy-186:
Take it from me I’m really happy the Sharks have won and who is complaining about the ref?
21 Jul 2012, 13:31 pm
@>^..^< katman-179:
I thought another player should have received a yellow much earlier.Does not matter though, its all over now, imo Kaplan was utterly useless but so be it. I am glad the sharks won. I assume you will be a shark for a day next saturday
21 Jul 2012, 13:34 pm
@Robzim-193: Nope, I actually enjoy the Stormers as much as the Sharks. Might even give the home team the katman nod of approval.
21 Jul 2012, 13:35 pm
@>^..^< katman-150:
fair call, we can also agree that Bryce is not the only ref that misses things in a game.
21 Jul 2012, 13:36 pm
@Gumboots-189:
The fate of the Stormers is in their own hands. It’s for them to lose. But it’s gonna be huge. Can’t wait.
21 Jul 2012, 13:37 pm
SHARKSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSs
And thanks everyone for the support, even though there was the normal baiters
Sharks Stormers???????????? eish gonna be damn tough for my Sharks, the flying and toughness of everything???
Hell its gonna be
21 Jul 2012, 13:37 pm
What a game.
Stormers – we are coming for you.
Ref schmef. What a bunch of whiners.
Neutrals will be behind the Sharks next week I’m sure, they are playing the beautiful game.
21 Jul 2012, 13:38 pm
Well done guppies, much better than the pathetic bulls!
21 Jul 2012, 13:38 pm
The semi final we all wanted.
21 Jul 2012, 13:39 pm
Well played Sharks, looks like a final in NZ.
21 Jul 2012, 13:40 pm
The way the Sharks played today, the Stormers will be kakking.
Better hope against all hope for travel to take its toll! Level the playing field a bit!
21 Jul 2012, 13:40 pm
@>^..^< katman-194:
Does that mean you will be going? Good man. Don’t wait too long before getting your tickets to a Stormers match. They tend to go like hot cakes.
21 Jul 2012, 13:41 pm
@wooden spoon-198:
they are playing the kiwi game nice to watch
21 Jul 2012, 13:42 pm
Sharks defense in second half was brilliant!! Could have had a yellow card but defended well!! Semi in CT is going to be Epic and whatever happens an SA team in the final!
21 Jul 2012, 13:43 pm
So the Sharks supporters are deeming their team to be the favourites already.
I like that.
21 Jul 2012, 13:43 pm
@wooden spoon-202:
they are going to be emotional
@IAAS-203:
local derbies always sell out especially if there is a game with Sharks,stormers and sader. supporters.
21 Jul 2012, 13:44 pm
Stormers at home still favourites but Sharks peaking at right time…
21 Jul 2012, 13:44 pm
Sensaytional Sharks!
Smart plan, smart execution!
On the evidence presented here, they should beat the Stormers (it hurts to say that as a Stormer fan but that’s my attempt to be objective)
Offload in the tackle proving the key ingredient to winning teams!
I am happy with Kaplan’s performance; well done also to the Aussie commentators for less biased views
21 Jul 2012, 13:44 pm
@IAAS-206:
what supporters say have no bearing on onfield results.
i never said they were favourites
i am glad weare facing them there
going to be a great day.
21 Jul 2012, 13:44 pm
@Fern is not a stud,he is merely no19-207: Crusaders games sell out in seconds when the play in CT
21 Jul 2012, 13:45 pm
@wooden spoon-202:
I nearly feel sorry for the Stormersaders. The poor sods will now have to wait another week before they see there heroes in action at newlands.
21 Jul 2012, 13:45 pm
Enjoy the champagne boys and safe travels to the Sharks
Go Proteas, Ernie and boys…
Epic semi final next week – the one we all wanted…
21 Jul 2012, 13:46 pm
184 @ Kaksioek
You can always blame the travel factor next week
21 Jul 2012, 13:46 pm
@IAAS-206: Fern has hit the nail on the head already. What the fans say is of no importance. It is what the teams do on the field. The fans’ talk has no bearing on the game. Relax, the Sharks haven’t stolen your team’s thunder……….yet.
21 Jul 2012, 13:46 pm
IAAS Stormers are favourites… Only 2 losses and top of log… Sharks underdogs and with travel involved…
21 Jul 2012, 13:47 pm
@Fern is not a stud,he is merely no19-207:
Local derbies only sell out well in Pretoria and Cape Town. Sharks supporters pocket money only lasts so long.
21 Jul 2012, 13:47 pm
Sharks!!! JP Pieterson my Man of the Match
Sharks can take the Stormers. Will be a close, good game but they’re on fire. The hard part then will be another trip over the Indian ocean if the Sharks win.
Uphill battle from here
21 Jul 2012, 13:47 pm
@Robzim-212: I reckon they better buy their tickets to Christchurch for the final now. The only chance they will have of seeing “their” team play in the final.
21 Jul 2012, 13:48 pm
Proteas 166-1
21 Jul 2012, 13:49 pm
Gonna be epic next week! Perfect semi! Just what we as bloggers wanted! Stoooooooooormeeeeeeeeeeeeers!!!!
21 Jul 2012, 13:49 pm
JPP has been the form SA wing… To think some wanted him dropped…
21 Jul 2012, 13:50 pm
Thinus Delport backing the Sharks to beat the Stormers next week!
21 Jul 2012, 13:50 pm
@IAAS-217:
are you telling me a knock out game at kings park wont sell out?
i got box tickets to any game so no worries here:-)
21 Jul 2012, 13:52 pm
Stormers won’t fall off tackles as easily as Reds did today. Also play off rugby next week – if the Sharks want to turn it into a free running exhibition that plays right into the Stormers hands!
I CAN’T WAIT!!!!
21 Jul 2012, 13:53 pm
Well played my brave guppies and congratulations to all the Sharkies out there. What a team and what a moering to those filthy-convict-********.
Now go one step further and smash your way into the final.
Brokebacks stop your kak and close your mouths. Those nasty tootless gums shouting for the Reds and blaming Kaplan for the guppy victory makes me sick!
21 Jul 2012, 13:54 pm
The whole Sky Panel has called a Crusaders v Sharks final.
21 Jul 2012, 13:54 pm
@wooden spoon-215:
It is you that said the Stormers will be kakking. Go read your post #202 again. I see a favourites tag in there.
@Fern is not a stud,he is merely no19-224:
I always notice plenty empty seats at Kings Park. Even in test matches. That says it all.
21 Jul 2012, 13:55 pm
My phone has reverted back to the full web display. Anyone know how to set it back to the mobi site?
21 Jul 2012, 13:55 pm
@RL-226:
Always knew you had a bit of black and and bit of white in you.
21 Jul 2012, 13:56 pm
@IAAS-228: many people are saying it. Does that grate you?
21 Jul 2012, 13:56 pm
Just about every non Stormer player – just like their fans – will be backing the Sharks!
Wouldn’t want it any other way!!!!
21 Jul 2012, 13:57 pm
@wooden spoon-219:
Don’t be like that- You know they don’t do international travel.
If the Sharks somehow manage to win this tournament it will probably be the biggetst achievement in superrugby history- they would then have beaten the Bulls, Cheetahs, Reds., Stormers and probably Saders in 5 consequtive weeks also having flown to Aus, back to SA and to NZ in the process.
I guess Plum will then get the Freedom of Durbs, a monument at KP and become shark coach for life
21 Jul 2012, 13:57 pm
@wooden spoon-231:
Not at all.
I welcome it.
21 Jul 2012, 13:58 pm
@RL-226: lol thanks for the support RL
21 Jul 2012, 13:59 pm
Well, today’s results went exactly as expected.
Sharks whipping the Reds and coming to Newlands next week…
21 Jul 2012, 13:59 pm
Congratulations to the Sharks, deserved winners.
Looking forward to next week.
Papa wag vir jou……
21 Jul 2012, 14:00 pm
Woody Woodpecker…………….that’s the spirit!
21 Jul 2012, 14:00 pm
there was a local derby at kingspark that was sold out.
on the day the weather was atrocious and people stayed away.
if you went to kings park to buy a ticket they would tell you it is sold out,so the union made money.
ticket sold,no bum on seat.

you gerbil stuffers can huff and puff and swallow all you like

21 Jul 2012, 14:01 pm
@Pee Wee-232: SO WHAT NOW?? Day before yesterday you were saying Smith is rubbish?? a man that averages 50 in Test Crick in 100 tests???????? again he is on 100 N/0?? so try vindicate your post??
21 Jul 2012, 14:01 pm
And Graeme Smith shuts his critics up in the best possible way. Gotta love it.
21 Jul 2012, 14:02 pm
I hope Jordaan’s injury isn’t too serious. Bosman keeps me on the edge of my seat.
21 Jul 2012, 14:03 pm
@sharks_lover-240: lol, Pee Wee was saying the Reds would win too. Can’t predict for shiyit!
21 Jul 2012, 14:04 pm
@wooden spoon-242:
The Sharks are the top team in SA at the moment, but I don’t rate that carthorse Whitehead.
I reckon Sadie would have been a good purchase for the Sharks. Unless there’s another 13 you’ve got lined up that I can’t think of right now.
21 Jul 2012, 14:04 pm
2nd try!
The Positives of these so called Finals Matches:
At least one SA has been knocked out.
The negatives:
Two of the fukkirs still remains.
21 Jul 2012, 14:05 pm
Superb ton from Biff.
Where is that Peepee ******?
21 Jul 2012, 14:05 pm
@wooden spoon-242: @wooden spoon-243:
Yeah, not sure with that injury if the Sharks will apply for Steyn to beable to play??\
Pee Wee is PeePee boet, Look i aint gonna be big mouth, Stormers will be very tough next week, Specially with our travels,but thats part of the system so we have to mentally prepare for it
21 Jul 2012, 14:05 pm
@IAAS-228:

lots of tickets are snapped up and then are put up for. sale on the black market at grossly inflated prices.
Chunt du Fernly just flies down to Deben,get picked up,a ice cold Black Label Bluff Dumpy stuffed in my hand.
I then watched the game,all food and drinks paid for.
Simple:-)
21 Jul 2012, 14:06 pm
240 @ SL
Smith is k@k – plain and simple. Look at how often he fails compared to how he succeeds lately. That average was built on a solid phase in his career earlier on. For the last two seasons he’s been rubbish! He’s like John Smith. One good innings will keep him in the team for the next 10 games.
21 Jul 2012, 14:08 pm
@Pee Wee-249: Go brush ur teeth, foul breath ya got from talking chit
21 Jul 2012, 14:09 pm
@sharks_lover-247: yes, the Stormers will be clear favourites.
- home
- rested
- most wins in the tournament
- boosted by knowledge that a win gives them a home final
But there is no doubt the Sharks are the form SA team at the moment.
How much will travel count?
21 Jul 2012, 14:10 pm
Congratulations Crusaders and Sharks…!!
Both played like champion teams…!!
Tough luck Bulls and Reds…
21 Jul 2012, 14:10 pm
Sharkies vs Storm Boys.
Should be great occasion.
May the most deserving on the day win.
Too close to call in my book.
Same goes for Chiefies vs Crusaders.
21 Jul 2012, 14:11 pm
spooner
sharks. need to score first
keep discipline,structure and defensive pattern
play in the stormers half
watch them panic and hear the stormerssaders turn on the stormers and side with the sharks.
21 Jul 2012, 14:11 pm
as i said last week… sharks going be be extremely;y hard to stop…
the form team by a country mile…
newlands gonna rock
21 Jul 2012, 14:13 pm
@ufo-255:
Look, to be fair, that’s not really saying much as a Stormers fan. Even the Rebels are ”extremely hard to stop” for you guys.
Do you ever breeze through against any opponent?
21 Jul 2012, 14:13 pm
on youtube there is a vireo of davidcoulthqrd driving a merc convertabile and catching a golfball inside it after a golfer hits a. drive when they are level.
very nice.
21 Jul 2012, 14:14 pm
Lots of Smith supporters here. I hope you guys don’t disappear like Smith did after the WC lol
21 Jul 2012, 14:14 pm
Sharks never ‘smashed’ Reds… Reds were their own worst enemies…
Sharks got 2 lucky tries first half and then second half was all Reds…
Genia made a huge mistake in going for 3 points early in second half at 20-10 down which Harris missed… That turned the momentum away.. he should have pressurized for a line out try.. Instead less than 5 later Mcleod latched onto a gimme intercept to take the game away..
2nd half was all Reds with 1 try dotted turned down and 3 held up over the line.
Sharks can be commended on their defense this game.. and for making tries through good support running and off load in the tackle … but Reds lost it more than Sharks ‘smashed’ Reds as the heading says.
Second half was about 80-20 in Reds favor with at least 3 attempts on the line thwarted by resolute defense or Kaplan’s clever tactics at turning momentum away from the pressure point situation under the guise of ‘fairness’ to the Aussie team…
21 Jul 2012, 14:15 pm
@wooden spoon-251:
Now you’re doing tumbleturns.
21 Jul 2012, 14:15 pm
If the Sharks start like they did against the Reds then the Stormers will have no chance because they battle to score points.
21 Jul 2012, 14:16 pm
@fitz1ella-259:
The Sharks smashed the Reds, bud.
21 Jul 2012, 14:17 pm
@fitz1ella-259: Whatever you were watching, glad i missed it
21 Jul 2012, 14:17 pm
@fitz1ella-259: And they’re going to smash the Stormers, too.
21 Jul 2012, 14:18 pm
Tac @ 256
hehehe…
Look, to be fair, that’s not really saying much as a
StormersBulls fan.21 Jul 2012, 14:18 pm
@cane-245: Reds were lucky that Steyn and Lambster were not playing.
21 Jul 2012, 14:18 pm
@IAAS-260: nah just saying it as it is.
Put it this way: I am still confident. But I am a naturally confident guy
I wonder how confident the Stormers are?
Lol at Skop. It was a “smashing”. No doubt.
21 Jul 2012, 14:19 pm
If Jordaan hadn’t have got injured, I think it would have got ugly (uglier) for the Reds. Michalak, Whitehead and Jordaan are an awesome combination.
21 Jul 2012, 14:19 pm
@kaksioek-261:
Number 1 spot on the log tells me something different. Which team had a weekend off this weekend?
21 Jul 2012, 14:21 pm
The Bullshark contingent in full swing regalia..
Stormers don’t stand a chance as far the Bullshark contingent declare in full presupposed utter conviction.
Stormers may as well not pitch up for the game.. its already done and dusted according to the Bullshark enclave of rugby aficionado’s ..
As for Bulls they gave up vs Crusaders before they hit the deck running.. made a half arsed attempt at playing a semi competitive game.. while rolling over and capitulating to the old enemy just as was expected from them before kick off… So nobody can honestly say they never tried even though back at the laager they know it was a lame attempt at a show of semi competitiveness.
21 Jul 2012, 14:21 pm
@wooden spoon-267: I still say i cant wait for a Lambie, Fransie, Jordaan combo
21 Jul 2012, 14:22 pm

BWAHAHAHAHA!
21 Jul 2012, 14:23 pm
@fitz1ella-270: Please point out where sharks supporters are saying the Stormers dont have a chance??
Ur being pathetic, we are saying its gonna be tough as hell for the Sharks?? stop dreaming up *****
21 Jul 2012, 14:23 pm
Ag Tac shurrup!
Farking funny to see you blow the Sharks trumpet! When the Stormers were beating everybody at the beginning of the S15 (not that they’ve stopped) not once did you compliment them. Now all of a sudden we have to hear how the Sharks are the best SA team.
That grapes must be farking sour dude!
21 Jul 2012, 14:24 pm
@Pee Wee-275:
I’ve been saying that the Sharks are the best SA team since the start of the competition.
21 Jul 2012, 14:25 pm
Why are Stormers fans (some, maybe most) so sensitive about their team? They seem paralysed with paranoia that another team trumps theirs!
Skop personifies this chip on the shoulder!
21 Jul 2012, 14:25 pm
snoeksiet
what a sides supportes say on here has no bearing on the game
do you still pay your illegal immigrant workers partly with food?
21 Jul 2012, 14:25 pm
You Stormers fans are too much, really. A South African team just traveled to Brisbane and smashed the defending champions. You should be praising them, but instead you’re blaming the referee and trying to downplay what was a pretty damn awesome display. Pathetic.
21 Jul 2012, 14:26 pm
ARRRGGGGG gonna ignore this fool Skop, He only here to try fill his ego with attention sought
All other bloggers have been just fine till he walks in
21 Jul 2012, 14:26 pm
2nd half Reds were all over Sharks .. if Mcleod had not got the gimme 7 points Reds would have won that game..
Genia made one huge stuff up giving Harris a shot at goal only 10 points down from 40 mts .. should have applied the pressure and gone for a line out try .. because that was where he coughed up the momentum with Mcleod getting a gift from nowhere.
Kaplan played a very nice game of fool the world he’s non partisan .. slowed every penalty momentum down when Reds were on a roll giving Sharks opportunity to defend the advantage.
21 Jul 2012, 14:27 pm
@kaksioek-279: Boet most stormer okes have been good today, its just old skopsnot
Ignore it it will leave, or of course go the other rout and rant like crazy
21 Jul 2012, 14:28 pm
well we are braaing some ostrichsteaks,eland sosaties and tomatoe and onion sarmies later.
whats on the menu for you guys?
21 Jul 2012, 14:28 pm
@fitz1ella-259: the lucky packet Reds coach got tought a life lesson by Plum. Can you believe that a sub standard IRNZA could do that to your hero. Lucky for Mckenzie that Jakes boys ran out of umph.
21 Jul 2012, 14:28 pm
@IAAS-269: Good news: they will have another weekend off after next weekend
21 Jul 2012, 14:29 pm
LOFL! It seems its the Stormers vs the rest of SA. Bulls and Lions supporters have magically turned into Sharks supporters laugh out farking loud. What a friggin joke!
21 Jul 2012, 14:29 pm
@fitz1ella-281: lol, how many points did the Reds score 2nd half? The Sharks outscored them in the 2nd half.
Bitterbek
The win feels good! It’s naaice.
We are coming for you.
21 Jul 2012, 14:30 pm
@Tacitus-276: Bad luck with your team earlier Tac, they seriously need to change game plan boet and bring in some of the younger players,
@nd half when the Bulls kept a little more ball in hand the tries came

21 Jul 2012, 14:31 pm
@sharks_lover-288:
I’m not gutted. I predicted it.
This is a weak Bulls team. 5th position accurately reflects their current capability.
21 Jul 2012, 14:32 pm
Well finally we get recognition! “Sensational Sharks” Yes we were bloody awesome.
Well done my Sharks. We have been sensational for weeks now. Playing sublime rugby. When we in this mood we just donner who ever is in front of us…. lol. Great game by my Sharks.
Now just need to sleep all week. Get over the jet lag and just keeping fingers crossed no injuries. Think Jordaan had some trouble with that hammie again.
Anyhow feeling so damn proud of my team.
21 Jul 2012, 14:33 pm
@Pee Wee-286:
And I wouldn’t want it any other way. Suits me fine.
21 Jul 2012, 14:33 pm
Sharkievarkie brekers and their Bully compatriots reckon its a train smash awaiting Stormers at Newlands next Saturday.. they sittuing here crowing much better
Stormers kakking in their broekies because the ‘best team’ in SA are heading to Cape Town for a whiplashing..
Stormers may as well give up already.. just hand over the final to Sharkshits .. I mean its gonna be the mighty dynamic black white machine endorsed by their Bully compatriots against the poefta brokeback boytjies from snore stad…
So why even bother pitching for a no contest smashing that awaits the poor Stormers who don’t stand half a chance..?
21 Jul 2012, 14:34 pm
@Puma-292:
being back home is gonna do our side a lot of good knowing they caused a upset boet.
21 Jul 2012, 14:35 pm
@Tacitus-291: Sorry about your Bulls Tac.
Remember they still building. They will be back for sure.
And you predicted this huge klap we gave the Reds too too. Spot on mate.
21 Jul 2012, 14:35 pm
Lol, skop confirming just what a ubertwat he is.
Things will be interesting on here this coming week!
The dream semi final! Go Sensatioooooonal Sharks!
21 Jul 2012, 14:36 pm
well done sharks…
wallabie, i told you the reds road was coming to an end.
21 Jul 2012, 14:37 pm
@wooden spoon-287: come schmuck a luck we gonna smash you right back into your overrated dynamic guppie blik… come get your just deserts… its waiting for you at Nuweland…
21 Jul 2012, 14:38 pm
@Pee Wee-286: look no-one really likes the Stormers. There are literally a few million CapeCruasders in Cape Town who do not support the local team. So first figure that out before developing this us against the world attitude.
21 Jul 2012, 14:38 pm
@fitz1ella-299: are the Stormers going to open a can of “whoopass” on the Sharks?
21 Jul 2012, 14:39 pm
Puma @ 292…
Yeah bud… they were sensational indeed…
Sharks looked very powerful and cohesive… played for full 80… their best game of the season so far…
Also lots of individuals hitting peak form… JP, Fred, Coetzee, Kanko, Alberts, Breslar, Bizz, Beast… KD… everyone…
A fantastic effort to travel to and win in Brisbane…
Sharks fans got lots to be proud of…
Enjoy…!!
21 Jul 2012, 14:39 pm
@Fern is not a stud,he is merely no19-295: Think it will Fern.
Jeez still smiling from ear to ear. Man how good are our Sharks playing right now? If we had to face Saders today I really think we could have beaten them too. We playing fire cracker stuff. Awesome.
How was Mallett speach about the Sharks after the game? He must have had egg all over his face after saying we would lose on Boots. He said he just could not see us beating the Reds. So did that Chap next to him on Boots. Oh this win is sweet….hehe. I am feeling awesome. Not only did we win, we totally smashed them. Awesome. It was brilliant to watch.
21 Jul 2012, 14:39 pm
@Transformation-298: well done Transie you did predict it
21 Jul 2012, 14:40 pm

21 Jul 2012, 14:41 pm
@ufo-302: Thanks Bud.
One word. Team effort. That does it all of the time. When the team plays for each other.
Man I am feeling great.
21 Jul 2012, 14:42 pm
@ufo-302:
No, this wasn’t even their top performance so far.
The way they dominated the Bulls physically at Kings Park was an even better performance.
The Sharks coasted through the second half today, what with leading by 17 points, not needing a bonuspoint, being jet lagged and playing away from home to boot.
Look, its not rocket science. There’s a reason why the bulk of Meyer’s Bok team is made up of Sharks. They have the best talent in SA at the moment.
If Alberts, Coetzee and Bismark get going its hammer time at Newlands.
And even Kanko is playing with a new lease of life now that Meyer has shown some confidence in him.
This is simply a very good Sharks team.
21 Jul 2012, 14:42 pm
@Puma-303:
I realy think we are peaking at the right time.
off topic though I would have loved seeing sunni bin williams facing fransie…
21 Jul 2012, 14:42 pm
Let’s see Alberts, Kankowski and Coetzee run through Kolisi next week. Fark I can’t wait!
21 Jul 2012, 14:43 pm
@wooden spoon-287:
21 Jul 2012, 14:44 pm
I thought Genia’s after match speech was disgustingly poor sportmanship.
21 Jul 2012, 14:45 pm
Proud of my fellow Sharks supporters on here today too
they have not allowed themselves to get baited by a few eggheads
21 Jul 2012, 14:45 pm
@wooden spoon-311:
What did he say? Probably moan about the ref?
21 Jul 2012, 14:46 pm
@sharks_lover-312: all will be revealed in a week’s time!
Believe in karma?
21 Jul 2012, 14:46 pm
@RL-284:
Reds were down to their scrummy playing at 10.. and they were STILL ALL OVER Sharkshits for 80% of the second half.. If Genia had gone for a try early in second half instead of a 50/50 attempt at 3 points Sharks would not have gotten the gifted intercept 7 pointer
McKenzie is the best coach on the planet .. just his players let him down at crucial turnover situations… and Genia made a poor decision with most of the second half to play he turned momentum away.. Sharks were assisted by Kaplan a few times when Reds were pressing on Sharks line or in their 22.. beside TMO turning down a legitimate try…
Sharks scored against run of play and kept Reds out for 90% of the play in last 40.. Luck was on Sharkshit side today.. Reds lost both fly halves and Sharks got rub of the bounce first half and Reds didn’t finish all the possession and territory they dominated Sharkshits with 2nd half.
McKenzie is class taking a bunch of rubble to a S15 title with less than a 1/4 of the talent at their disposal that teams like Bok laden Sharks have… Jake is NOWHERE NEAR his class…
21 Jul 2012, 14:47 pm
@Tacitus-313: yep, he moaned about the ref and the TMO, said the TMO ruling was the turning point, and not once congratulated the Sharks.
21 Jul 2012, 14:47 pm
@Pee Wee-309:

@ Tac
I guess the Stormers must be hondk@k compared to the Sharks judging by what you’ve just said. LOL! Funny thing this log is hey. There’s no shame in admitting your hate the Stormers and will never acknowledge their good form recently!
Also the Sharks were better today than at home against the Bulls. Don’t kid yourself. The Bulls were piss poor.
21 Jul 2012, 14:48 pm
@fitz1ella-315: suck it up sunshine. No matter how many paragraphs of excuses you write – the SHARKS WON, AND WON BY SOME MARGIN!
As I said, suck it up. We are coming for you.
21 Jul 2012, 14:49 pm
Tac@307
you seem determined to have a scrap… i’m not interested…
will let the sharks fan enjoy their great win…
but of course you’re entitled to your opinion…
my opinion is that taking the travel into account this was their best game…
use it… don’t…
lol
cheers sharks fans…
enjoy!!
outta here
21 Jul 2012, 14:50 pm
@Tacitus-313: Taccy yeah he moaned about the Ref, pathetic, i just watched the game again, hell Kaplan actually kept the reds in the match
The amount of foul play and off the ball incidents by them was shocking
21 Jul 2012, 14:50 pm
@wooden spoon-319:
gonna be tough
all willbe revealed on saturday
i. cannot wait for this game
the sharks has known that this will be their path
no surprises.
21 Jul 2012, 14:51 pm
@ufo-320:
Enjoy your afternoon.
I’m actually very relaxed. All the pressure is out of the tournament for me now.
But I’m really enjoying watchin the Sharks at the moment – especially as I’ll be watching most of them in the Bok jersey again later this year.
21 Jul 2012, 14:52 pm
Sharks deserved to Win today I think, The game just didn’t go our way. Got to say it but the smart money has to be on the Crusaders,
21 Jul 2012, 14:52 pm

but good luck to the stormers too

21 Jul 2012, 14:54 pm
Wonderful to see an SA team employing the tackle offload so well. Even Coetzee is passing these days. Wonderful to see some nicely crafted tries.
21 Jul 2012, 14:54 pm
@Fern is not a stud,he is merely no19-308: I would have liked to have seen that too Fern.

today is moving day
i hope they wil feed off each other
21 Jul 2012, 14:56 pm
@wooden spoon-327: Coetzee has been off loading in the tackle for quite a few games. He is superb actually.
Read today he just may get man of the tournement. I think he will be player of the year this year. He has been that great.
21 Jul 2012, 14:57 pm
Having just witnessed the Sharks’ demolition job on the Reds, the Stormers fans seem a little on edge, don’t they? Relax chaps, it’s just a game
21 Jul 2012, 14:57 pm
Stormers must sommer just hand over the keys to Newlands castle .. the marauding mogul Sharkshits are chomping at the bit to come and destroy us in our own fortress..
All the momentum and powerhouse potential is behind the Sharkshits.. even the national coach is hoping and praying Sharkshits destroy the wannabe Stormer gaylords because then he will be relieved to know his black/white Bokkies are in good hands…
So Stormers you got your conference title now be a good sport and give Heyneke, and his blou bloed chickenshit contingent of Bullsharks the satisfaction of backing the ‘best team’ in SA peaking at the appropriate time.. why even bother putting your body on the line for a result which is already deemed a one way ticket to the final by the mercenaries from the ‘guppy tank’.

@Puma-331: nah watch the early season games. Coetzee hardly ever passed. He was very predictable, taking the contact. Perhaps he was playing to instructions.
21 Jul 2012, 14:58 pm
@wait for it, wait for it…-326: Dankie.
21 Jul 2012, 14:59 pm
@fitz1ella-333: stop being so sensitive. Lose the persecution complex.
21 Jul 2012, 14:59 pm
@wooden spoon-335: I know. I said he has been doing it in the past few games. Since we played the Stormers around about that time. Reunion has commended him for it. Saying he is like Schalk Burger only he can off load in the tackle. They think he is better.
21 Jul 2012, 15:00 pm
From a bulls supporter well done to the sharks…!…awesome game from the sharks boys…was great to watch….@321…sharks lover, the reds were obstructing past the ruck at every oppurtunity…and the rest of the funny stuff off the ball just showed they were seriously under pressure during much of this match…damn proud of the boys from KZN…
21 Jul 2012, 15:00 pm
332 @ Spooner
You suck at reverse psychology. It aint gonna work here. Boo Hoo the Stormers are so scared…………
21 Jul 2012, 15:01 pm
@wooden spoon-337:
she has a huge victim mentality
21 Jul 2012, 15:01 pm
Okay out of here now.
SHARKS FOREVER.
Brilliant brilliant win.
Now we head off to the most beautiful city in the world for the semi. Cape Town here we come.
Cheers everyone.
21 Jul 2012, 15:02 pm

21 Jul 2012, 15:06 pm
cheers all
21 Jul 2012, 15:07 pm
Some these Sharkshit two faces were crying like stuffed mackerel around 4 or 5 rounds back where there was a concerted effort by them and their nay baby black sheep supporters to have their coach axed BEFORE the business end of the competition..
now these SAME two face Sharkshit guppy pandering pissarses are complimenting each other AND their coach at how they have suddenly turned into the mean lean fighting black / white dynamite machine..
So what exactly has CHANGED since Plumtree was heading for an insurrection of revolutionary Sharkshits seeking to guillotine OFF his head?
21 Jul 2012, 15:09 pm
@fitz1ella-348: give it a rest *****. You’re coming across as a bit of a moaner.
21 Jul 2012, 15:11 pm
Proud of my fellow Sharks supporters on here today too
they have not allowed themselves to get baited by a few eggheads
@wooden spoon-349: Only a bit??
21 Jul 2012, 15:12 pm
@wooden spoon-349: Outa here now to catch up laters Woody
21 Jul 2012, 15:12 pm
Absolutely the best rugby I have ever seen the sharks play in my life. Well done boys, done us proud.
21 Jul 2012, 15:14 pm
fernly is just a little fckface with a big bek…. Peewee invited him to come show his big bek oats and the little fckface chickened out right up his sharkshit broedertjies backside back at the sharkiecattle ranch….
same as this other little fckface WS who is suddenly so PROUD of his Sharkshit team…when just a few weeks back he was moaning and groaning liked a stuffed little porcupine with his quills all pointing in reverse… because Plumtree was stuffing up ‘HIS’ team..
says it all about piffle arsed little fckfaces who are way bigger than the booties they lace up to their breeches each day before they strut like the little varkies they are onto the stage of life.
21 Jul 2012, 15:15 pm
So the Stormers, as is the usual prediction by the so called experts on here, have zero chance of beating the in form and rampant Sharks. I think the Stormers will be happy with the underdog tag.
Very happy indeed.
Sharks – you are the faves. Congrats.
I actually feel for my Stormers…….how are they going to sleep this week, knowing that the undisputed form team and champion whipping Sharks are headed their way…….
Will any of you bruvvas be ^ 5ing your way to the game?
21 Jul 2012, 15:15 pm
Well done Sharks and Saders. A couple of cracking semifinals lie ahead. SA vs NZ final. Bring it on.
21 Jul 2012, 15:18 pm
@wooden spoon-319: What happened to you hoping the Sharks lose so that Plumtree would be shafted?
And your Facebook petition to get rid of Plum?
And the answer my friend, is it blowing in the wind?
21 Jul 2012, 15:19 pm
@fitz1ella-348: In the name of all that is decent – shutthefuckup.
21 Jul 2012, 15:20 pm
@fitz1ella-353: The bottom line is coaches come, coaches go but all fans want their team to win.
Are you going moan all day? Did this Sharks win really put you in such a foul mood?
21 Jul 2012, 15:20 pm
I think HM needs to put Kacko in at 8 – the boy is playing well and will eat Spies alive.. Plus his line out works has been superb in the last few games, he destroyed the Bull’s in the line out. So the excuse of Spies add’s another dimension to the lineout can finally be crossed off. But HM is Blue Bulls man so who knows what he is thinking, hopefully he has watched the last few Bulls games, they have been dominated on all sides of the pitch.
21 Jul 2012, 15:21 pm
Congrats Sharks! Good handling skills at pace and abrasive defence
21 Jul 2012, 15:21 pm
Sharks played out their skins .. deserved the win…
But Reds gave them the gap with which to do so..
I predicted it would go this way..
Sharks had the far easier play off.. Bulls were never in with a chance… Reds would have put Bulls away too.. though Sharks definitely got the easier route to the semi..
Now let see if the same Shark team rock up at Newlands next weekend.
21 Jul 2012, 15:23 pm
@The Sharks rugby pedigree stole my password-356: Get transie to trawl the archive and find ANY post where I suggest EVER wanting my team to lose. I challenge you to prove your false assertion. If you can’t, as is the case, I demand an apology from you.
Secondly, what FB petition? I am no part of it. Again, I demand a personal apology.
Be a man (or a manly woman) and do the right thing porksword.
21 Jul 2012, 15:23 pm
@stormer in a teacup-355:
fark the saders
21 Jul 2012, 15:24 pm
@stormer in a teacup-357: you call yourself ‘decent”’ you a moron with a huge arrogance extrapolated ego the size of Krakatoa on heat…
21 Jul 2012, 15:24 pm
A few Stormer fans trying to spoil the party it seems.
Won’t make any difference, the victory was just to sweet. Like nectar.
21 Jul 2012, 15:25 pm
@stormer in a teacup-355: Thanks Boet, gonna be great semi finals, you guys are gonna be damn tough to beat, if we can achieve it?? hell not so sure with all the travels, and lets say we do?? have to fly back to kiwi?? hell thats way tough
21 Jul 2012, 15:26 pm
I am departing now, but I expect an apology from Shark Production when I return.
Later all.
21 Jul 2012, 15:27 pm
i must say that was one helluva impressive mock punch by bressler on higginbotham. it certainly threw higginbotham for a six.
bismarck is teaching the boys well.
21 Jul 2012, 15:29 pm
@wooden spoon-362: Actually i find that whole Plum must be fired on FB disgusting
Just a few arrogant Sharks supporters being idjuts as far as i am concerned
21 Jul 2012, 15:31 pm
@wait for it, wait for it…-368:
Only thing is Bismarck follows through.
21 Jul 2012, 15:32 pm
@IAAS-370:
ok im outa here too
21 Jul 2012, 15:33 pm
@sharks_lover-369: nah, I want Plumtree gone (and I still believe he has got stale) but this is very different to those fools who call for their own team to lose. I can assure you this is not within me, which is why I have taken this to heart. I have NEVER called for my team to lose.
As I said, I expect to see an apology when I return unless Shark Production can put her money where her mouth is and put up some evidence of her allegation.
21 Jul 2012, 15:34 pm
@wooden spoon-362: You demand an apology?
The only apologies doing the rounds, should be some of you doubters apologies to Plumtree….
Make it an earnest one.
I do believe you have been one of the anti-Plumtree Sharks people, be a good spoon and admit it, then apologise.
21 Jul 2012, 15:35 pm
@IAAS-370:
hehehe
21 Jul 2012, 15:36 pm
Next week, when it will feel as if the world is come crumbling down on them, the Shark fans would at least have had their 15 minutes of fame – as per Andy Warhol.
21 Jul 2012, 15:37 pm
@The Sharks rugby pedigree stole my password-373: I am anti Plumtree and that won’t change if the Sharks win the whole thing. He has been there 4 years and it is time for new blood at the top. I am talking an entire leadership change. I do not, and will not, shy from this.
However, your allegation was: “What happened to you hoping the Sharks lose so that Plumtree would be shafted?”
I demand that you show me the evidence of this. If you cannot, I demand an apology.
Will you be honourable enough?
21 Jul 2012, 15:38 pm
And now I really am out.
I expect to see an apology on my return. I have no doubt you will do the right thing.
21 Jul 2012, 15:39 pm
@wooden spoon-372: Earth to Woody. Earth to Woody.
How on earth else does one get rid of an unwanted coach, apart from shocking and disappointing results (losses…………) Kak results – coach gets shafted. GOOD results – coach stays.
So you want the Sharks to WIN, but want the WINNING coach Plumtree to feck off? It doesn’t work like that
You wanting Plum gone means you want the Sharks performing badly, as you ain’t gonna get rid of him in any other way. #winkingstormersmiley#
Fecking genius.
21 Jul 2012, 15:42 pm
well done to the Sharks…really good effort!
21 Jul 2012, 15:43 pm
@The Sharks rugby pedigree stole my password-378: what a stretch of logic! If that is your “evidence” I can rest easy. Phew, I didn’t sleep walk and type something totally against every grain in my character.
Erm no, wanting a new coach does equate to wanting the team to lose. What bizarre reasoning you have displayed!
Many people wanted Jake White gone and he won the RWC
You have shown yourself to be a fool.
21 Jul 2012, 15:48 pm
@wooden spoon-380: and you have shown yourself to be a fan in the fair weather mold….
Kicking it when you win…but when things aren’t going well, calling for the coaches head.
If Plumtree manages to win this whole thing, the only fool showing himself or herself, will be you.
If you want your coach gone – you can’t be sharing in his successes. In the same way, wanting success for your team (and gleefully sharing in it) but simultaneously wanting all the leadership to feck off is just as whack. ‘Hypocrisy for dummies’.
21 Jul 2012, 15:49 pm
Sharks are coming to Newlands. Immodium and calmatives already sold out in Cape Town. I reckon Jean De Villiers is still on the loo, after the nervous stomach explosion he had from watching the jet lagged Sharks demolish the Reds.
21 Jul 2012, 15:54 pm
@The Sharks rugby pedigree stole my password-381: again, your logic is completely flawed. The team is more than the coach. The team is supported, not the coach. Coaches come and coaches go, but the team will always remain. Do not forget that the Sharks have never finished higher than 6th under Plumtree and I can tell you fair and square for a team like the Sharks this is simply not good enough.
You have tried your best to dampen the great victory today (bitterbek Stormer that you are) but trust me you have not been successful. I am grateful to have proved you a fool and a liar.
SHARKS.
21 Jul 2012, 15:58 pm
HG mentioned a balloon waiting to be popped all season. Could it be that the balloon will be popped next weekend? That would be naaice.
I will be corresponding on this forum with a handful of Stormer fans in that event.
Might even make a trip into the archives for inspiration
21 Jul 2012, 16:12 pm
What is wrong with this fecking blackberry!!!!!
21 Jul 2012, 16:14 pm
@wooden spoon-383: Bitter Stormer supporter? Nah. Just a person who has felt you Sharks fans have been very rough on your coach this season, sometimes unfairly so. Suddenly things are looking up, and you all celebrate?
Fair weather. Fair weather. Fair weather.
Own your hypocrisy Woody
Feel it, and own it.
21 Jul 2012, 16:23 pm
Big ask this week from the Saaarks… but if anyone can they can.
21 Jul 2012, 16:25 pm
Again, there is no end to your foolishness and flawed logic! I’m beginning to doubt your intelligence now!
Never stopped supporting my team, and would never dream of it.
Seems to me you don’t have a proper understanding of what a “fairweather fan” is. So your accusation is like water off a duck’s back frankly.
I’m quite surprised at your logic. I thought you had more about you, but I guess it’s disguised by all your bluster and hot air. After all, that is all you are, a bag of hot air.
PS we may just have a perfect demonstration of what being a “fairweather fan” is all about come next Saturday…. stay tuned….. I expect quite a number of “demonstrations” in fact…..
21 Jul 2012, 16:29 pm
Good job the Sharks and thanks for vindicating my wager, a handsome return

As Ian Botham once said, the best thing about beating the Aussies is to hear them crying,,,, did you listen to Genia? ( who’s actually from New Guinea BTW
Kaplan disallowed the Sharks a 100% legitimate try in the 62nd minute and did his best to keep the Reds in the game, such a bunch of scoundrels, did you hear their jeers?
The Bulls were not to far from it ether, once they assigned their dead woods to the bench they started controlling the game with the classy Pottie leading, trouble with the Bulls they got spoiled winning so many games by the referees, they got confused when they had to close out a game all by themselves.
21 Jul 2012, 16:29 pm
384 @ Woody
The Sharks supporters – especially HG – have disappeared so many times we’ve come to expect it. Please don’t get ahead of yourself boet! A balloon waiting to pop? What you gonna say if the Sharks beat the Stormers? That 3 out of 17 ain’t bad? Hahahahahahahaha!
21 Jul 2012, 16:33 pm
@Robzim-375:
So Jonker has been confirmed?
21 Jul 2012, 16:37 pm
@wooden spoon-376: Wanting Plumtree gone – and I bet management too… would you rather hand it to that politician President of the NRU who has more faces than the Joker
21 Jul 2012, 16:45 pm
@wallabie.-379: hey walla
sharks were all over those queenslanders hey, mate
21 Jul 2012, 16:50 pm
@The Sharks rugby pedigree stole my password-386: Hell you are like a dog with a bone , wont let up. Give it up the guy has said he want Plumtree gone and mayhave his reasons but that doesn’t diminish the fact that he supports the Sharks and delights in their good performances. I get the feeling that Stormers fans arejust looking for a reason to have a go at some Sharks fans, a bit childish. You may still have the last laugh so give the Sharks fans a bit of time to enjoy their win
21 Jul 2012, 17:00 pm
Arrogance of the Australians is as per usual unbelievable. They didn’t deserve to be there based on performance in any event. Sheer self belief is one thing, but these guys are not humble at all. The kiwis and the safa’s have manners at lease. These guys don’t even know how to hold a knife and fork.
21 Jul 2012, 17:02 pm
@bananaboy-394:
Expect some fireworks on this site over the next week or so- it’s going to be the highlite of the keo 2012 blogging season

@bananaboy-394: Cheers BB.
@Robzim-396: it will be beyootiful!
21 Jul 2012, 17:11 pm
Well done Sharks, next up rugby’s equivalent of George Graham’s Arsenal
21 Jul 2012, 17:14 pm
@Robzim-396:
this is true Rob, there gonna be huge fights in here lol
21 Jul 2012, 17:14 pm
Why do I keep hearing Mallett being mentioned ? What does he have to do with the Sharks, or has he been talking in the media about them recently?
21 Jul 2012, 17:14 pm
@Robzim-396: Its a measure of the respect we have for each other
. All i would luv to see is the Sharks smash the Saders at home after last years game at Twickers where i thought we were out reffed after a good start.Steve f’g Walsh
21 Jul 2012, 17:15 pm
@Big Hit-398: Hiyas GH mate, long time no chat, you well?? and thanks our Sharks did us proud today
21 Jul 2012, 17:16 pm
@Big Hit-398: Enjoying the cricket BH?
21 Jul 2012, 17:16 pm
@bananaboy-401: Hiyas Piesangs, eish boet what a match, i am still in smiling mode
21 Jul 2012, 17:17 pm
Proteas are 294-2
21 Jul 2012, 17:18 pm
@bananaboy-394: Childish: Of, like or appropriate to a child.
Children flip flop from left to right depending on their emotions at the time.
Adults are generally more stable.
“Yay we won – but Plumtree is incompetent, we are the best – but Plumtree sux , we are going to smash the Stormers – no thanks to Plumtree, we are dynamite – but Plumtree is a wet fizzle, the Stormers are going down – but Plumtree must still feck off.
Appropriate to a child indeed.
BOOM
21 Jul 2012, 17:19 pm
Yep, it is Ruck.
Pretty convinced about it now.
21 Jul 2012, 17:20 pm
@Big Hit-398:
Well done to your country too with Bradley Wiggins currently destroying the field in the individual TT to ensure a win in the Tour de France for team sky and england.
Seems he does not receive much credit for his phenomenal performance from his own countrymen though?
21 Jul 2012, 17:21 pm
Just to show Stormers fans the measure of respect Sharks players have for their team, this from Keegan.
Sharks captain Keegan Daniel later acknowledged that his side’s defensive effort had proved the difference.
“That’s what wins games and the boys put their bodies on the line,” he said.
“It was very physical and hats off to both sides, there were some big hits in that game.
“I think the boys will be looking forward to the Stormers challenge — we lost heavily there last time but this is finals football and if you win by one point, you win by one point.”
21 Jul 2012, 17:22 pm
@bananaboy-401:
You can smash them next year. We want to smash them first in front of their local “fans” in CT
21 Jul 2012, 17:23 pm
@wooden spoon-407: But I am Grant number 10. Ryan Vrede, Helen, Dawn, UFO, Dirty Harriet, Justarugby and a few others. I can be this rucker as well if you wish. Multinics…..
21 Jul 2012, 17:23 pm
@wooden spoon-400: Dude he is on Supersport
21 Jul 2012, 17:25 pm
@The Sharks rugby pedigree stole my password-406: No childish is when one cannot face their enemies with a measure of respect and front up but rather resort to all sorts of beliitling comments to try and reduce their opponents in their own eyes. Rather be confident in your own abilities. What another does or the way they behave should not be the determinant of your response, you are too wise for that
21 Jul 2012, 17:25 pm
I tell you what is childish.
Being told you cannot validly criticise the coach when your team’s record reads played 9, lost 5 and won 4 after the first 9 games, capped up by a humiliating loss to the LIONS.
The team has since won 6 from the following 7 games. I haven’t heard too many people complaining about the coach in that period. Wins keep people happy. Something has changed. They have pulled finger. It is evident from not only the wins but the manner in which the team is playing. Kudos to the team and the staff.
There is only one person who keeps harping on about Plumtree, and given the team she supports, it suits her to do so. No surprise really.
21 Jul 2012, 17:26 pm
@Robzim-410: Don’ t mind if you do Robzim, will be 100% behind you guys but would luv my team to do it.
21 Jul 2012, 17:27 pm
@bananaboy-409: in other media he is quoted as saying “we lost narrowly there last time” which makes a bit more sense seeing as we lost 15-12.
21 Jul 2012, 17:28 pm
@goyougoodthing2-412: has he had much to say about the Sharks? The references I have seen to him have largely been negative.
21 Jul 2012, 17:29 pm
SA doing great in the cricket and Ernie as well, go boys we are proud of you
21 Jul 2012, 17:31 pm
@bananaboy-413: C’mon, you Sharks can’t start getting tetchy a full 7 days before the game. Allow the build up to continue as it is destined to
Leave the respect and decency out of it………there is just no fun to be had in that…..
21 Jul 2012, 17:32 pm
@bananaboy-401: Though the same about Walsh drunktard referee he is
21 Jul 2012, 17:33 pm
Ernie -5 in 3rd spot, leaders on -9 shared
21 Jul 2012, 17:34 pm
@wooden spoon-417: This morning he said they would probably lose and then at half time said they should win and then siad that they were outstanding. Next week though, he’ll be in his blue ring underwear
21 Jul 2012, 17:35 pm
I see they have dropped the double nic in the reply…. the numbers of nic stealers and multinics are going to swell again…
21 Jul 2012, 17:36 pm
@goyougoodthing2-422:
lets hope he gets to eat more humble pie
21 Jul 2012, 17:37 pm
Stormers have no chance at all next week….
21 Jul 2012, 17:38 pm
See what I’m talking about, nic stealers paradise now…
21 Jul 2012, 17:38 pm
see there the **** starts, typical Nic thieves, and so the Stormer supporter immaturity starts again, ,, $@% is a HO child piece of ****
21 Jul 2012, 17:39 pm
@sharks_lover-427: relax it was me, proving my point!!!
21 Jul 2012, 17:40 pm
@wooden spoon-428:
21 Jul 2012, 17:40 pm
@wooden spoon-423: Did you have to mention nic thieving??
21 Jul 2012, 17:41 pm
I can foresee all sorts of problems now that the double name has been dropped from the reply function. We have been through this before.
21 Jul 2012, 17:42 pm
@wooden spoon-428:
now i have to apologise to the stormer supporters ya F/nut lol
Sorry Stormer supporters, i was getting pissed off at that lol
21 Jul 2012, 17:43 pm
@sharks_lover-432: haha I can’t stop laughing

The saders will win the S15
21 Jul 2012, 18:30 pm
The Cape based ref. got us the easiest semi-final. Watch us smash them at Newlands.
Then it is our final against any of those lame Kiwi teams.
21 Jul 2012, 18:46 pm
@The Sharks rugby pedigree stole my password said-452: Yes, The Sharks will smash the Blue Gums on Saturday, at home. If you want a SA name on the trophy you better hope so otherwise prepare for the Saders to come into town and take WP down at home.
21 Jul 2012, 19:03 pm
Well done Sharks!
Still, anyone would think they ended first judging by the arrogance of some supporters. Enjoy your next and final match
21 Jul 2012, 19:04 pm
@goyougoodthing2-453: No thanks. Relying on the Sharks temperament would be suicidal.
21 Jul 2012, 19:13 pm
@wooden spoon-450:
Nice one.. it shows that those animals are no natural man eaters that attack on sight……. that one was just a curious youngster checking out the intruders into it’s environment.
21 Jul 2012, 19:13 pm
@Michael-455: It’s all good, methinks the WP have an advantage… it’s all fun
21 Jul 2012, 19:16 pm
JC said “and that final try will not detract from what was their best defensive performance in 2012.” Flipping marvelous by the Sharks.
But that’s exactly what the Stormers have been doing all bloody season.
21 Jul 2012, 19:18 pm
@IAAS-458: There is a difference, the Sharks scored tries as well
21 Jul 2012, 19:19 pm
@The Sharks rugby pedigree stole my password said-452: A nic thief
What a compliment you pay me…..
21 Jul 2012, 19:21 pm
Fanatsic win by Richard Murray in the triathlon in Hamburg as well
21 Jul 2012, 19:23 pm
@goyougoodthing2-459:
It’s going to be a good match-up. And the Stormers will sneak in a couple of tries for good measure.
21 Jul 2012, 19:25 pm
@The Sharks rugby pedigree stole my password-460: And i thought the comment was not apt, now I know why.
21 Jul 2012, 19:29 pm
@bananaboy-461:
Was the race over the Olympic distance?
21 Jul 2012, 19:30 pm
@IAAS-458:
You notice how the Sharks rolled today: Sending minimal men to the breakdown, in order to throw more bodies into the D line….I wonder who inspired them to do that.
Suddenly D wins games according to the rest of the land……go figure
21 Jul 2012, 19:34 pm
@The Sharks rugby pedigree stole my password-465:
Toetie is so far ahead of the local coaches in SA it is not even funny.
21 Jul 2012, 19:36 pm
@The Sharks rugby pedigree stole my password-465:
Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. And now, 4 try bonus point wins aren’t important anymore. The Stormers must just approach this match like any other game they have done this season. A win is all that matters.
21 Jul 2012, 19:39 pm
@Robzim-464: He finished in 51 minutes so i dont think it was Robzim, but he beat Gomez in the sprint to the line and was briliant in the run
21 Jul 2012, 19:40 pm
@bananaboy-468: 51 or 58 can’ t remember now, will check it out
21 Jul 2012, 19:44 pm
@bananaboy-468:
All right, then it was probably the half standard tri- Olympic distance is 1.5km swim/40km bike and 10km run and the time you mentioned is far too fast for that.
Seems like it was some good speed training for the Olympics then- he is probably our first real hope for a medal in that sport ever- lets hope he can sustain his form.

@sharks_lover-471:
Great day by the Proteas. Now we must push on for a lead of 200.
21 Jul 2012, 19:51 pm
So how does one do banter with out sounding arrogant…..you can’t say ”Sharks going to roger the Stormers next week”…..that’s apparently and a big nono….does” oh dearie we playing the mighty Stormers next week, my nerves frazzle at the thought” sound more suitable to some of you.
dingdingding not going to happen
What is wrong with enjoying and talking up your team, Sharks were outstanding today, and if we play like today or like when we played the Bulls the Stormers won’t stand a chance………only problem is…..which team is going to rock up, This Shark has a split personality lol.
21 Jul 2012, 19:51 pm
@bananaboy-469: Was in 51 minutes 9 min swim 27 min cycle and 14 min run.
21 Jul 2012, 19:52 pm
Sharks defeating Reds in a playoff game brings back memories of the 1996 sides efforts against the Reds at Ballymore with the same outcome. Andre Joubert, was, is, always be a star, he rocked in that game. Well done sharks.
21 Jul 2012, 19:52 pm
@sharks_lover-472:
A Shark and a Stormer at the crease. ^5 brudda.
21 Jul 2012, 19:53 pm
@Robzim-470: Didnt realise he was the world champion duathlon

BOOM!
21 Jul 2012, 19:56 pm
Black and White Dynamite explodes the farken Super Rugby Bubble…
21 Jul 2012, 19:57 pm
Wouldn’t mind watching an All SA final, though I prefer an all NZ final, whatever the final, I’d have to say the Sharkies are peaking at the best time ever. Impressed with their defensive structure of late, especially v Reds.
21 Jul 2012, 19:57 pm
@Heavens Game-480:
And the Sharks are going to see their gat. Without a mirror.
21 Jul 2012, 19:58 pm
Could we be watching and about to see the greatest Super Rugby Trophy victory ever…
On the road…
Everywhere…
Fuckthe Stormers… Sharks want the Crusaders… at their place.
Revenge!
21 Jul 2012, 20:00 pm
@IAAS-484: Where…? Against the “Top” side… lol… against the conference “Title holders”…? FarkLol… You giving me a hernia bru… Hehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehe
Bring it on Mofos and brokebacks…
HOO HA
21 Jul 2012, 20:02 pm
So the “No. 1″ side against the lowly Sharks… after a full circumference of the world in two weeks… Should be a fair handicap…
For the Dynamite… LOL
WHOOA!
21 Jul 2012, 20:03 pm
@IAAS-478:
this is true mate lmao
21 Jul 2012, 20:04 pm
@Heavens Game-486:
You’re getting ahead of yourself. Calmthefuck down.
21 Jul 2012, 20:04 pm
@bananaboy-476:
Thanks… its sprint distances then… the 14 min run over 5km’s after the swinm and bike is blistering.
@bananaboy-479:
I did not know either- he is however in the top 10 of the world in the Standard tri so he is in with a shot at london.
21 Jul 2012, 20:04 pm
@Heavens Game-485:
hg hiyas bro , we all been awaiting ur entrance
21 Jul 2012, 20:06 pm
@IAAS-489: boet some advice??
you have no chance of calming HG down right now
21 Jul 2012, 20:07 pm
@Heavens Game-486:
The shark fans behaviour on this site after their victory today was impeccable. Don’t fark it up for them now
21 Jul 2012, 20:08 pm
@Transformation-473: Boys playing brilliantly Transie, and to think on Thursday PEEPEE WEE PEE was telling us Smith is rubbish etc etc etc
21 Jul 2012, 20:09 pm
Sheezus… If beer is the nectar of a winning team, then I reckon I phuza’d the Sharks to victory today… From half 9 to now… Over 12 hours… Same time frame phuza as their flight back…
Maybe I also get jetlag tomorrow…
Helluvathing… But still a warm fuzzy feeling for one of the best Sharks performances I have seen in years…
Want D…? Sharks got farken D
Want attack…? Sharks show you farken sleight of hand, power running blitzkrieg bananaboy rugger at its very best…
And fucktherest!!!!
21 Jul 2012, 20:11 pm
@sharks_lover-491: Go them good things… Fark me… What a performance…
Despite Kaplan being the the best Capecant he could possibly be
And in the defending champs backyard… Let us not forget
21 Jul 2012, 20:12 pm
@Robzim-493: Ag, dry your legs… You also smell that in Cape Town???
I do… allaway from Pretoria…
You know what that is?
FEAR…
Thats what!!
21 Jul 2012, 20:13 pm
@Heavens Game-482:
Black and White Dynamite explodes the farken Super Rugby Bubble… ”
Right back up your “dutpipe”
21 Jul 2012, 20:15 pm
@The Sharks rugby pedigree stole my password-498: The only big dutpipe exploding is the one where a big mutant banana enters….
Now… you want some, fuckface???
21 Jul 2012, 20:16 pm
@Heavens Game-497:
The Stormers fear nothing. Definitely not the Sharks. Bring it on.
21 Jul 2012, 20:16 pm
@Heavens Game-496:
yup HG, I also thought Kaplan was trying his best to keep the Reds in the game?? i actually watched the match again and my eyes nearly popped at what i saw
NO doubt boet with all the travelling saturday for us will not be easy, Stormer have everything going for them, accept??????????
Like i said for a few weeks now, If the Sharks can again play exactly the same as against the Bulls?? and 2nd half againsy the Cheetahs and today the 80 min against the Reds? just might be possible
Again the answer is simple and take the travel factor aside, Mental prep, hunger, commitment, desire, etc etc, Both teams have great players etc, but if the factors i mentioned are there from the Sharks?? then yes we may just pull it off
21 Jul 2012, 20:17 pm
@IAAS-489: I’ll show you calmdown… Come here and I show you one farken big banana skin… On its way to Cape Town, all the way from Queensland… Once you’ve slipped and done the full 360 twice… then I show you calm…
21 Jul 2012, 20:19 pm
@Heavens Game-502:
hahaha you make me laugh a lot.
21 Jul 2012, 20:20 pm
Gdam HG going to go off like a bantamcock on crack cocaine – sharks played outstanding but no ways reds shoulda lost that game winning all those colissions and momentum – I never saw tge first 30 but sharks were tossing it around with *** abandon throughout
I think mckenzie going to be skopping gat up and down that xhangeroom whole night long – nevertheless it makes for a moerse enticing semi – only tram capable if beating saders is stormers at newlands but they need vermielen at least on the bench to do that I reckon.
Saders were in ominous form today – that is moerse well drilled epitome of cutting edge professional rugby outfit
21 Jul 2012, 20:20 pm
@Heavens Game-499:
Calm down. Kaplan helped you to get us the easier semi-final. So chew on that “mutant banana” you know I do not need it.
21 Jul 2012, 20:20 pm
@sharks_lover-501: Sharks play next week, like they did today, then the Conference Title “Holders” gonna also be also rans with the actual real deal… The Trophy…
Fark, the Reds are twice the team of the Stormers
And fark me George, the Sharks proved today that they are twice the Reds…
So next week is lining up to be sccccchhhhhhhhhhwwwwwwweeeeeeeeeeet!
21 Jul 2012, 20:21 pm
@Heavens Game-497:
Fear is a man’s best friend — John Cale.
Its going to be a moerse match on Saturday. Highly unlikely that you are going to get such a “friendly” ref twice in a row though
I am hoping for Walsh.
21 Jul 2012, 20:23 pm
@cab-504: Farkoff Cabbie… This be my banana tripping pursuit of happyness now… Dont take it away, cuzzie
21 Jul 2012, 20:23 pm
@Heavens Game-506:
21 Jul 2012, 20:23 pm
@The Sharks rugby pedigree stole my password-505: Bietjie los, ne? Thats why
21 Jul 2012, 20:24 pm
@cab-504: CAbby thats where you are wrong mate, also trust me the first 30?? the Sharks practically already won it right there, they were simply brilliant
21 Jul 2012, 20:25 pm
Sorry HG didn’t mean to put a damper on proceedings – I picture you currently strutting around with your sharks jersey and kouse on and a piesang protruding from your gat as we speak..
21 Jul 2012, 20:26 pm
@cab-512:
damn bad visual
21 Jul 2012, 20:26 pm
@Robzim-507: Friendly ref??? Jou ma se friendly ref, man…
Will take Walsh any day of the week over any SA ref with the farken brokeback cowboys…
You bring Walsh, and I bring you a Saaarks 15pt victory, cuzzie, if they play like today against your “Top” team with a hooker at no 8
21 Jul 2012, 20:27 pm
@cab-512:
lol hahahaha farkin funny..
21 Jul 2012, 20:27 pm
@cab-512: Hehehehe… TWAT
21 Jul 2012, 20:28 pm
Well done sharks Excellent win
21 Jul 2012, 20:29 pm
The ref was not the reason the sharks won
The sharks were just better Just like Crusaders were
21 Jul 2012, 20:30 pm
MOM again Keegan
21 Jul 2012, 20:31 pm
SL – yeah turned it on and saw 20-3 couldn’t believe my eyes – JP is brilliant but I thought if refs were more patient they could have won the game fairly easy after the try that took them back to 20-10 but mcleods intercept pretty much sealed it – but take nothing away from going off to suncorp and doing that – I think stormers might mow them a bit tho on sat..
21 Jul 2012, 20:31 pm
Hey if Kaplan had blown for the knock on genia would never have scored
Kaplan lets the game flow
TMO decision was correct You could not see if ball was over the line
21 Jul 2012, 20:32 pm
@Heavens Game-506:
So the Sharks are the favourites for Saturday. Because their supporters say so.
Oh, that’s the way, uh-huh uh-huh,
I like it, uh-huh, uh-huh.
Oh, that’s the way, uh-huh uh-huh,
I like it, uh-huh, uh-huh.
21 Jul 2012, 20:32 pm
@cab-520:
Maybe because of them been tired yes but sharks are playing well and Stormers need to have their A game
21 Jul 2012, 20:33 pm
@Heavens Game-514:
The top team had a quiet relaxing weekend in hermanus.
They wish the sharks a nice flight back to SA with lotsa turbelence.
Bekker and Eben in particular are licking their lips to meet that heavy legged injury proned no8/7 wannabe lock and the other lock (i forgot his name but it is the oke with the kak hairstyle)
That hooker at number 8 was just a decoy…. watch this space.
21 Jul 2012, 20:33 pm
@CoachPete-519: My MOM… Kanko… 100%
21 Jul 2012, 20:34 pm
@IAAS-522:
Stormers still must be favourties
They are playing at home
They have rested
They have best defense
Sharks have traveled to oz and now must travel back, and had to play a hard fast physical game to
21 Jul 2012, 20:35 pm
@CoachPete-519: Coetzee was boet, but Keegs was brilliant, agree with you, Kanko also, they just gelling brilliantly right now
21 Jul 2012, 20:35 pm
@Heavens Game-525:
Nope Daniels allover the park and involved in most tries stopped one try etc etc
21 Jul 2012, 20:36 pm
Pete – yeah true helluva result
21 Jul 2012, 20:36 pm
Let’s be honest, the referee was all kinds of awful, he missed more knocks, forward passes and accidental offsides, proper offsides, hands in etc than a blind man reading braille with no arms.
But the right team won.
21 Jul 2012, 20:36 pm
@sharks_lover-527:
Daniels work rate was amazing and his support play excellent and his defense on the line (stopped one try )
Not sure why some on here, and HM cant see this????
21 Jul 2012, 20:37 pm
@sharks_lover-527:
I think they peaked just too soon
21 Jul 2012, 20:38 pm
@IAAS-522: Dont be stupid man… After travelling the full circumference of the planet… after playing and beating the defending champs on home turf in a physical game… after showing a half of the best attacking rugby by a Saffa team… followed by a half of the best defensive game yet by a Saffa team…
and then have to take on the No 1 side, the Conference “title” holders in their own backyard – “Fortress” Newland with thousands of Crusaders supporters in attendance….
Farkright… Why the fark not
21 Jul 2012, 20:38 pm
@goyougoodthing2-530:
For both sides kaplan lets the play flow
if he had called the scrum for knock on by sharks Genia would not have scored.
Plays the advantage rule the best
21 Jul 2012, 20:38 pm
And I agree with HG, the SA refs will be gently reminded that a home final would be marvelous, don’t expect any Sharks favours come Saturday, unless it’s McBooze Walsh the AustroKiwinator
21 Jul 2012, 20:39 pm
@Heavens Game-525:
I thought Kanko gave Spies an exhibition in eighthman play. He is playing good rugby at the moment.
I hope Spies was watching.
21 Jul 2012, 20:40 pm
@Heavens Game-533:
You just explained why the Sharks wont win
21 Jul 2012, 20:41 pm
@CoachPete-528: What didnt Kanko do…? No 1 lineout jumper… brutal defence… groundbreaking runs… supporting back 3 with kicks… ruck steals… A classic, complete No 8 game today… Put Spies to shame.
Daniel did the play of the match though – backflip offload to Jordaan… Beyoootiful!
21 Jul 2012, 20:41 pm
512@Cab….lololololololololololol omg that is funny and am now going to picture HG like that always….to think I had pictured him as quite a large well groomed naughty Shark with an amazing talent for causing mayhem.
21 Jul 2012, 20:41 pm
@IAAS-536:

Agreed about Showing up Spies And i have said if he is playing well he should be 8
Just not MY MOM
21 Jul 2012, 20:43 pm
@IAAS-536: 100%… Who the fark is that oke Duane Vermeulen again
21 Jul 2012, 20:43 pm
@Treehugger-539:
Congrats on your teams win
But i told you this last week
21 Jul 2012, 20:44 pm
@Heavens Game-538:
21 Jul 2012, 20:44 pm
@Heavens Game-533:
It’s going to be a ding-dong battle. Take no prisoners kind of game. Not for the faint hearted. A PG guidance sticker might be necessary.
And by the way, didn’t take much to wind you up.
21 Jul 2012, 20:45 pm
@CoachPete-537: Of course… The Sharks go into the match as favourite underdogs…
21 Jul 2012, 20:45 pm
@Heavens Game-538:
And saved a try with the Reds tap kick near goal post
21 Jul 2012, 20:46 pm
@Treehugger-539: Lol, agganee Tree… This Cab has really dunnit now… The prat
21 Jul 2012, 20:47 pm
Sharks are fck’d sing all your glory hallelujahs tonight because next week its tickets.. Stormers gonna take these big over fed guppy yuppies down..
Genia threw the game.. Reds were all over Sharks from half time whistle.. Reds were dominant and striking into the red zone at will.. then he goes for a 50/50 penalty and Harris misses.. that was the wrong turn he took.. Genia should have simply ploughed straight on into Sharkie territory like they did for 80% of second half and Sharks would have cracked… the intercept was the point were Reds were stuffed.. otherwise Reds were all over Sharks second half like a bad rash.
Kaplan slowed all the Reds breakdown momentum down.. every time he blew a penalty he enforced Reds to take foot off the gas which gave Sharks time to re organize. Kaplan very clever at making it look like he’s blowing straight meanwhile he’s blowing skew…
21 Jul 2012, 20:47 pm
@CoachPete-540:
Lol, you forgot to put the (C) for Captain behind Keegan’s name.
Lambie can be Vice captain.
21 Jul 2012, 20:48 pm
@IAAS-546: No wind up possible… Not with this warm fuzzy feeling from the best Saaarks performance… no… best performance from a Saffa S rugby side in years.
21 Jul 2012, 20:48 pm
if the sharks had stayed at home and beaten the reds then anyone’s game.
The travel to oz and back with a hard game in middle maybe just too much to ask
21 Jul 2012, 20:49 pm
@Robzim-551:
Ag sorrie
21 Jul 2012, 20:50 pm
@CoachPete-540:
1 Stormer amongst that lot. That’s the way it seems to be going.
But I reckon Bekker and Vermeulen will think differently come Saturday.
21 Jul 2012, 20:50 pm
@CoachPete-534: Huh? So if he had called the knock on, then Genia, who threw a massive forward pass which was not picked up either, would not have scored… this is true… an why do you then think he is a great referee? He is useless
21 Jul 2012, 20:51 pm
@fitz1ella-550: Glory glory hallelujah…
Sharks shall shunt the Stormers like a schooner…
The truth is marching on
21 Jul 2012, 20:51 pm
@fitz1ella-550:
Skoppie I just feel sharks were the better team
i said last week they should play Albert at 4
I think the deserved to win and regardless of ref the result was correct
21 Jul 2012, 20:52 pm
@goyougoodthing2-556:
He is not always great but he is a decent ref
Any ref and the result would have a sharks win
21 Jul 2012, 20:53 pm
@IAAS-555:
I was messing around (sort of )
21 Jul 2012, 20:54 pm
@Heavens Game-557:
You and Skoppie agreeing? wow
21 Jul 2012, 20:54 pm
@fitz1ella-550: Hilarious. The Reds tried to score for 30 mins and could not penetrate the Sharks’ defence. If the airbags from WP did that you would be singing their praises for mighty defence…
The wind will blow Saturday and the emperor will be exposed as having no clothes on the throne…
21 Jul 2012, 20:55 pm
@Heavens Game-557:
Glory glory hallelujah…
Sharks shall shag the Stormers like that doggy Boomer…
Their truth is marching on
21 Jul 2012, 20:55 pm
@Heavens Game-557:
21 Jul 2012, 20:56 pm
@CoachPete-560:
And none of the Sharks supporters currently present disageed with you. I noticed that too.
21 Jul 2012, 20:56 pm
@CoachPete-559: He was once a great referee and Sebastian Coe once ran sub 4 for the mile.
He can’t run like that today…
Kraplan has been poor all season, perhaps he should get glasses and a Segway for Xmas.
21 Jul 2012, 20:56 pm
@IAAS-565: too true
21 Jul 2012, 20:57 pm
@CoachPete-558:
The Sharks were the better team for sure. To win a play-off away from home takes some doing and they must get credit for that.
It is also true that things went very badly wrong for the reds on the day- they also lost their flyhalf and hooker within the first 25 minutes and ended with Genia at no 10.
We gonna take them on Saturday, you will see
21 Jul 2012, 20:57 pm
sing all your hallelujah’s tonight cos next week its beer bottle breaking time with mighty black white tears rolling down those fuzzy fuggy cheeks
21 Jul 2012, 20:57 pm
@goyougoodthing2-566:
Or color the silver spot on his head too
21 Jul 2012, 20:58 pm
@goyougoodthing2-562: And the key to what you say is “IF the airbags from WP did that”…. and not a fark can WP threaten the line like the Reds did today….
Mind you, how embarrassing was Bossie’s speedwobble in front of the line… 7 points gooied
21 Jul 2012, 20:59 pm
Hi Coach ! Ja you did, wasn’t nervous for this game. Buttttttttt now the nerves start, semis is a big deal, Butttttt……….the pressure is all on you guys, being conference winners and hardly losing any games this season. Am hoping Stormers are now chewing their finger nails worrying which Sharks team is going to pitch.
Very exciting weekend ahead of us, just have to make no one or anything interferes with me watching the game.
21 Jul 2012, 20:59 pm
@Robzim-568:
Yes Should have put Harris at 10 kept Genia at 9@fitz1ella-569:
Well yes we will be 100% our Stormers
21 Jul 2012, 21:00 pm
@Heavens Game-571: Bosman is so useless he really can’t score with an open line… wtf he is doing in that team – he is the Pierre Spies of the Sharks
21 Jul 2012, 21:01 pm
@fitz1ella-569: Tears of happiness I tell ya…
21 Jul 2012, 21:01 pm
@goyougoodthing2-574:
21 Jul 2012, 21:01 pm
@goyougoodthing2-574: @Heavens Game-571: Watch again HG he didnt knowck the ball, Bresler scored a try that should have been
21 Jul 2012, 21:02 pm
@Treehugger-572:
I hate to say it not because i am a Stormer fan but it is going to be hard for Sharks with that travel and hard game
I see a close game but Sharks to run out of gas 2nd half
21 Jul 2012, 21:03 pm
Ok cheers got to go
21 Jul 2012, 21:04 pm
@CoachPete-579:
cheers mate.
21 Jul 2012, 21:04 pm
@CoachPete-578: Might just not work out that way Pete, although of course travel might well just derail the Sharks, but remember we as Saffas have always maintained that traveling from Kiwi to here is much easier then us travelling there, also a little help for the Sharks after the travel is playing at seas level. I think had the Sharks for example have had to play at Loftus?? would have been totally impossible
21 Jul 2012, 21:05 pm
@CoachPete-558: Sharks got out the blocks quicker and Reds coughed 2 very easy tries in first 30
After half time Reds were all over Sharks and only desperate defense and some dodgy TMO decision kept them scoreless. Also Genia made a poor call going for a 3 pointer.. that was precisely where he took the foot off the pedal because till that point was only a matter of time before reds went over… instead Sharks cleared from the 22 drop and next movement McLeod got the intercept..
2nd half was all Reds but Sharks kept them out.. big tackling right on the try line for about 30 minutes solid…
Reds were down to their reserve hooker, reserve scrum half and without a fly half yet they would have pulled it through if Genia had gone for a line out instead of the iffy penalty in the first 10 of 2nd half.
Sharks deserved the win by virtue of their defensive efforts.. but 2nd half was 80% Reds and 20% Sharks with at least 3 tries held up or disallowed.
21 Jul 2012, 21:07 pm
@sharks_lover-577: I know he didnt knock the ball – Kaplan factor – but fark me all he had to do was run over… yet he fell down, without even tripping…
Now, I got a soft spot for Bosman and have been one of his biggest defenders here, but hellsteeth bru, that was comical
21 Jul 2012, 21:07 pm
@goyougoodthing2-574:
I am still trying to figure out who is the worst player in the blue Bulls pack- toss up between Spies and the dark haired potgieter.
Mind you, Potgieter is the worst- fark only knows what heynecke sees in him.
21 Jul 2012, 21:08 pm
@Robzim-524:
bressler…
pulled a helluva mock punch on higginbotham
threw him right off his game
21 Jul 2012, 21:08 pm
Well done Sharks, I actually had you to lose by 5 on superBru……!!
My superBru is seriously screwed up anyway this season…..Just could not get in the swing!
How are you all this fine Saturday evening?
21 Jul 2012, 21:09 pm
@Heavens Game-575:
Come this time next weekend, you are going to sobbing into your Windhoek and regret having left your dark glasses at home.
21 Jul 2012, 21:09 pm
@Heavens Game-583: this is true
Boet our match vs Stormers gonna be a tough one, travel must surely take a lot out of us??
And just hoping we dont have serious injury problems
21 Jul 2012, 21:09 pm
Ja yessus spies en plesier was uiters jak today I saw freuen bounce him off a tackle like the usn spiere weren’t even there – WTF they keep picking him for boks is beyond belief – this bok side could klap ABs this year if they pick right
Daniel and Coetzee are ok selections, potgieter apes and Kanko poor (tho the latter in good form but not test loosie) – and they missing kolisi elstadt and vermeulen
21 Jul 2012, 21:10 pm
@wait for it, wait for it…-585:
21 Jul 2012, 21:10 pm
@carol-586: “had you to lose by 5 on superBru”…. You hurt me so bad…
That’ll teach you
21 Jul 2012, 21:11 pm
@Robzim-584:
Besides Spies being ‘hefty’ I am not sure I have ever heard many positive thoughts about him on the blogs!!
Hope the poor lamb does not visit here!
21 Jul 2012, 21:12 pm
@Heavens Game-591:
That’ll ‘learn’ me!
21 Jul 2012, 21:12 pm
@Heavens Game-591:
21 Jul 2012, 21:13 pm
@IAAS-587: Windhoek….???? You mad, man. Only Amstel for this humble Dynamite supporter. And the sobs gonna be happy, contented ones… with Sharks off to their revenge match against the Saders on home turf… Farken Title “holders” sevoet, bru
21 Jul 2012, 21:14 pm
@wait for it, wait for it…-585:
Mock punch? I think that was his best shot… it just looked like a mock punch ….flippin sissy boy, lol.
21 Jul 2012, 21:14 pm
@CoachPete-570: That spot is silvo, his mother uses it on Fridays to polish their Menorah
21 Jul 2012, 21:14 pm
@Coach…..I agree it will be really tough for us but not impossible, if we could do a ”beam me up Scottie” back to Durban it would be a 100% sure thing
21 Jul 2012, 21:15 pm
@carol-593: may that be a lesson to you young lady
21 Jul 2012, 21:16 pm
Sharks deserved the win .. overall they were the better team and Reds blew their chances with too many turnovers in the Red zone or on the try line…Reds were also not composed enough on attack.. and Sharks pulled out huge guts to stave off wave after wave of Reds attack.. something they’ve learned well from Stormers
The Alberts / Bressler 2nd row combo is actually a very good 2nd row option and I reckon might be the way to go for Boks with Alberts going to 4 and allowing for other options at 7 and 8.. but that Tarzan Potgieter clown at Bulls is definitely not Bok material.. not by a long shot.
21 Jul 2012, 21:16 pm
@sharks_lover-588: Of course its going to be tought and of course travel is a huge factor… But boet these Sharkies are peaking right now… Running hot hot hot.
Momentum team… They should have enough for this game… But the final they may be like a damp squib unfortunately.
But as a wise man once said “have Faith, my son”
21 Jul 2012, 21:17 pm
@sharks_lover-599:
Hi SL are you Sharky on Superbru siting at 16 ?
21 Jul 2012, 21:18 pm
@fitz1ella-600: What now… changing tune… You scared?
21 Jul 2012, 21:19 pm
@carol-592:
Nice biceps and shoulders are good for pulling chicks but not essential for success on a rugby field.
Congratulations on Bradley winning the greatest endurance race in the world.
I am dying to find a pom to congratulate on his achievement – Big Hit ignored me when i tried him. You Brits are a funny lot.
21 Jul 2012, 21:20 pm
@Heavens Game-601: Oh i got faith brother, just a tad more quietly so
Our boys are really playing like we know that can at the Mo
@carol-602: Hi carolientjie as GBS calls you
and no hun that aint me, have not played SB this year
21 Jul 2012, 21:21 pm
Bulls should have made Dewalt potgieter captain that was the trick they missed.. by making Spies captain they basically stuffed their entire building year and are now further in arrears than they were before the S15 kicked off this year.
2009 is a LONG time ago.. Bulls got a long way to go to get back into the zone.. they not even intimidating up front and through the backs only one or two are pulling their weight.. too many mediocre middle of the road players without the real character of aggression required to make it at the top.
21 Jul 2012, 21:21 pm
@sharks_lover-605: Quiet… WTF for?
21 Jul 2012, 21:22 pm
The attack from the Sharks in the first half was some of the best seen this season – they cut the Reds to ribbons. If Jordaan hadn’t have got injured it would probably have continued in the same vein. The Stormers would give their eye teeth for some of that – whether their fans admit it or not. But you guys are blinded by the green monster – and I’m not talking about Windhoek or Amstel
21 Jul 2012, 21:24 pm
@Heavens Game-607: sanity??
21 Jul 2012, 21:25 pm
@Heavens Game-607:

@fitz1ella-606:
Yip, Dewald should have been the captain . He has more brains then the rest of the bulls pack combined. He scored 6 straight A’s in matric- marginally better than Koster and “Lem” Bosman who scored 5 each.
I heard Schalk also scored 5 but that is unconfirmed
21 Jul 2012, 21:30 pm
@Heavens Game-612: @Heavens Game-510

@The Sharks rugby pedigree stole my password-615: Klein bek…. GROOT piesang… You finished yet with your big yellow dahhhling…
21 Jul 2012, 21:32 pm
@Heavens Game-603: No tune to change I called Sharks to win already early last week.. Sharks got lucky that Bulls pulled the short straw to go to Chch and Sharks got the easy semi vs a dwindled Reds team.. in spite of Sharks being the far stronger physical outfit to Reds they were on the back foot the entire 2nd half and Reds should have scored early in the 2nd period.. Sharks were saved by some big tackling and some clever manipulations by Kaplan who disguises his bias very cutely by giving Reds penalties but actually diminishing their scoring chances on momentum…
Nothing whatsoever to be scared about.. Stormers will klap these boys when they venture into Newlands… Vermeulen must sit out first half and come on off bench and Stormers will end Sharks campaign next week.
Sharks got 4 – 5 trump cards.. Beast, Bismark, Alberts, Coetsee and Pietersen
Take care of them and they an easy target.
21 Jul 2012, 21:32 pm
@Heavens Game-612: I will tell you who is really CR@pping himself for our next match?? G10
21 Jul 2012, 21:34 pm
@carol-617:
That is no achievement taking into consideration te quality of the opposition.
These blokes just talk a lot of cr@p, they know farkall
21 Jul 2012, 21:35 pm
@kaksioek-608:
Tries count for nothing in the playoffs. No matter how pretty your rugby was in the lead up. It’s all about having more points at the end of the game than your opponent. And i’m gonna drink to that next Saturdsy.
21 Jul 2012, 21:36 pm
@fitz1ella-620: Eish big talk hey… But nice… Those lowly Sharks beating the defending champs in their own backyard are definite underdog in all of Cape Towns eyes…. Nothing better…
21 Jul 2012, 21:36 pm
@sharks_lover-621: fannywobble
21 Jul 2012, 21:37 pm

Ask Hor-moanal to help you.
21 Jul 2012, 21:41 pm
@Heavens Game-611:
You picked 2 Storrmers in your barometer. One of them being donkey. I can’t believe. He is the Bok captain afer all.
Respect! i knew you’d see it my way.
21 Jul 2012, 21:42 pm
@The Sharks rugby pedigree stole my password-626: I have no qualms about my size, and neither does banshee or the lucky ladies of Pretoria… but come now, not even John Holmes is the size of a plantain… Sheezus, what are you…. the channel tunnel?
21 Jul 2012, 21:44 pm
@IAAS-631: I must… Hes done nothing wrong at 13 and Cappie… But am watching him like a hawk
21 Jul 2012, 21:44 pm
@Heavens Game-611:
2 Stormers and 2 Bulls the rest Sharkshits
why not include Bressler for Kruger and Sykes for Etsebeth and Mcleod for Vermaak with Jordaan for captain JdV.. and you good to go.. a complete black / white dynamite Bok team.. who needs green and gold when all you want is black and white to smoke up your eyeglasses entirely?
21 Jul 2012, 21:46 pm
Sadly vermeulen won’t play on Saturday.
He did not really train with the team on friday as the press reported unless catching and passing two balls count as training.
Oh yes, he also did some juggling with a rugby ball- quite nifty for such a big bloke.
@wait for it, wait for it…-629:
Lol, yip.. hopefully some dancing from de Jongh or Aplon on Saturday
Breyton actually started this trend in SA with his somersaults.
Funny how some players have less inhibitions then others.
Always the backs… the small blokes… fark, i nearly said someting wrong….
21 Jul 2012, 21:47 pm
@fitz1ella-634: Sykes above Etsebeth maybe, when at his very best… But I give a gimme to the others for social cohesion, national unity and all that…
21 Jul 2012, 21:47 pm
@Heavens Game-632:
feck! channel tunnel? lol
21 Jul 2012, 21:49 pm
@Heavens Game-611: I remember reading Tacitus a month ago or so saying that a Springbok team composed entirely of Blue Bulls could beat England. Now you’re having similar delusions about the Sharks.
I thought they played very well, but they’re a bit like the tennis player that beats the top seed. Great one day, flat the next. Look what happened to the guy that beat Nadal. The same thing happened after the Sharks beat the Stormers-lost to the Lions.
Make no mistake I did admire the rugby played by the Sharks today,but you’d better hope they keep it up or you’ll look foolish.
21 Jul 2012, 21:51 pm
@The Sharks rugby pedigree stole my password-637: That’ll teach you too
21 Jul 2012, 21:53 pm
@papashanga-638: You soppy twat… It was a great Sharks victory against the defending champs… away… What do you want? Farken black and white nun habits and a vow of silence…. farkoff man
21 Jul 2012, 21:58 pm
Ever since Sharks ditched that fatfunk show boater that weighed them down their last 2 seasons they have turned the corner..
The Sharks of today compared to the Sharks under that fat funk hump of lardacious self serving gunk is like chalk and cheese.. and to think Boks were saddled with that hump of f’ng lard who kept Bismark out the start team.. and Spies kept keeping Alberts out is no wonder Boks lost 11 from 13 starts the last 2 years under that fat funk clown’s over fed lardarse..
21 Jul 2012, 22:00 pm
It is really a pity that the legendary bloggers called grant10 and just rugby won’t be here next week to join in the build-up towards the sharks/stormers game. Their contributions are sadly missed.
21 Jul 2012, 22:02 pm
@fitz1ella-641: Eish, you trying…
It aint working… Sharks chappies too happy…
And PS… Barney is Legend.
Hasta la Vista… Outtahere tonight
Hasta la muerte Sharks

@Robzim-642:
What is their story, Rob? They continue to behave like girls’ blouses. Someone sure p1ssed them off big time. In unison. But that’s the way they seem to roll. Would be good to see them back around here. The more the merrier.
21 Jul 2012, 22:05 pm

Nag ou grote. And the Stormers are going to kick arse next Saturday. I stand by that.
21 Jul 2012, 22:08 pm
@IAAS-644:
I think they just got tired of it all and moved on. I met both of them in real life – absolute great blokes- both played first league club rugby in WP and Just rugby also played age group rugby for Natal (of all places).- pity as u said.
21 Jul 2012, 22:10 pm
@fitz1ella-641:
‘Lardarse’ though that was a ‘Pommie’ saying!!
Sounds a bit undignified coming from a Captonian!!

@carol-645:
Lol, ja, “sadly” was not an appropriate word.
Let me go before i lose a fridge like grant has done on more then one occasion
21 Jul 2012, 22:12 pm
@Robzim-647:
Hear, hear….Grant10 and justRugby are great company and fabulous hosts!
Both of them loved to wind up the bloggers too….. Grant especially!! lol
21 Jul 2012, 22:14 pm
@Robzim-649:
Grant losing fridges takes me back to 2008/2009….!!
21 Jul 2012, 22:15 pm
@carol-650: Carol the reason i will never agree is this, Windin g up in banter is one thing, but when you a for a few years trash someone you dont know, specially online, and insult etc etc etc, that is not banter but plain rubbish and in very poor taste…Actually kinda sick
21 Jul 2012, 22:16 pm
@Robzim-647:
Ok. Wish them well if you see them again. It’s fun around here but if you take keo too seriously, then you’re down the plug hole. Tell them to come back with different nic’s. that’ll make it interesting – for a while. Because you cannot disguise anyone’s style of writing.
Anyway, I’m out for the evening. Nice chatting. Cheerio, cheers.
21 Jul 2012, 22:19 pm
@IAAS-653: Cheers boet have a good one
21 Jul 2012, 22:58 pm
CONGRATULATIONS to the SHARKS and their supporters.
A great game by them.
See you next week at Newlands.
Make sure that the person responsible, buy the flight socks for the players for their travel back to Cape Town. Don’t want any excuses when we moer you next week. OK???
PS: All the South Africans who had, or still have, a problem with the Smith/Kallis/Boucher troika in the Protea team!!! Swallow!!! (Boucher is not there anymore but you know what I mean.)
21 Jul 2012, 23:09 pm
Sharks have entered the Away Winners Hall of Fame once again.
1996 SF Sharks @ Reds
1998 Final Crusaders @ Blues
1999 SF Crusaders @ Reds, SF Highlanders @ Stormers, Final Crusaders @ Highlanders
2000 Final Crusaders @ Brumbies
2002 SF Brumbies @ Waratahs
2007 Final Bulls @ Sharks
2011 SF Crusaders @ Stormers
2012 SF Sharks @ Reds
Well done!
21 Jul 2012, 23:13 pm
Is the petition to get rid of Plumtree as Shark coach still circulating in KZN?
21 Jul 2012, 23:20 pm
@Nils-656:
“Once again”, you say.
It’s their 2nd time, isn’t it?
1996 and now this year.
Would be more appropriate if you said, “for the 2nd time in their history”
21 Jul 2012, 23:45 pm
The Sharks vindicated my trust, and it paid handsome dividends
Thought the Reds were rudderless without Cooper AND with Genia at 10
The score flatter the Reds, they were let go with a try at the end by the tired Sharks and a disallowed legitimate try by Kaplan at the 60s minute, not sure why, probably to prevent riots in Brisbane
21 Jul 2012, 23:47 pm
@nama1-658: Ahem … you are right, of course. Even that 2nd time is a good achievement – they now are the only other team apart from serial winners Crusaders who have won away more than once.
21 Jul 2012, 23:57 pm
Awesome performance from the Sharks
22 Jul 2012, 00:05 am
@Hondo-659:
“…a disallowed legitimate try by Kaplan at the 60s minute, not sure why, probably to prevent riots in Brisbane”
And then… your whole conspiracy theories re referees were proven as just that… a conspiracy theory.
I mean really…most people regarded the Sharks as favorites to win this game today. On superbru 61.21% of the members selected the Sharks as winners.
So, you were not the only one who were paid handsome dividends, believe it or not.
Oh yes, Kaplan did not “disallow” the try. The TMP did.
I agree, it was a legitimate try.
22 Jul 2012, 00:16 am
@nama1-662:
TMO
@spartan-661:
Fortunately for me as a Stormer supporter, I’ve learned to know that these Sharkies can’t put up a performance like that twice in a row.
Next week at Newlands, they’ll be flat.
Today was THEIR final.
22 Jul 2012, 00:44 am
Sharks played well today
Bulls on other hand were poor, and Crusaders eased up in 2nd half
What worries me is the core of the springbok team are Bulls, who play this brand of rugby that’s turning out to be ****
Add to it the mistakes, inability to protect the ball, and aimless kicks, there was only going to be one result against the Crusaders
22 Jul 2012, 00:50 am
Nama – your team appears on Nils’ list twice too! But … ahem… for the wrong reason! Only team in the history of the competition to lose a home semi twice.
Next weekend it will be number 3.
22 Jul 2012, 00:57 am
@wooden spoon-665:
Congrats Wooden Spoon, I knew you guys could do it. Looking forward to the Sharks v Stormers War brewing to a apocalyptic last stand this coming weekend…..BOOM.
22 Jul 2012, 00:58 am
@Te Rangatira-666:
Cool……first time devil spawn.
22 Jul 2012, 00:59 am
@Te Rangatira-666: Cheers! Better brace yourself for all out war this week!
22 Jul 2012, 01:01 am
@wooden spoon-668:
.I will be on the sideline with the water bottles and first aid…..expecting plenty of casualties and nervous breakdowns.
22 Jul 2012, 01:08 am
@wooden spoon-665:
Yeah. not a great record that.
One that can only be improved on, don’t you think?
Are you now 100% behind the Sharks again? How many Shark supporters signed the petition that YOU walked around with?
DO YOU STILL WANT PLUMTREE OUT?
22 Jul 2012, 01:10 am
@sharks_lover-402: gd sl, semi will be interesting, you’d have to say Stormers favorites, it feels like only the Crusaders are really adept at unlocking their defense, we’ll see though.
@Robzim-604: was ‘in-out’ earlier robz, yeah I see Wiggins rightly getting some shine on the news but there’s a lot of other sport going on. I think the important thing for ‘le tour’ is that with a cyclist like him winning it you can be sure there are no performance enhancing drugs involved.
22 Jul 2012, 01:11 am
@Te Rangatira-666:
Remember when we had the conversation where I told you that the Chiefs will fade towards the end of the season?
Who do you reckon will be NZ representative in the final?
22 Jul 2012, 01:11 am
@nama1-670: this has been discussed above. Funnily enough, another Stormer fan said the same thing… Read back.
Would you want Toetie out on his ear if the Stormers had won 4 from 9? You betcha.
22 Jul 2012, 01:12 am
And for the avoidance of doubt, you must have me confused with someone else. I am not part of whatever petition there is doing the rounds – your comment is palpably false.
But please do answer my question on Toetie and 4 from 9…..
22 Jul 2012, 01:17 am
@papashanga-638: tac likes to fantasise about the Bulls beating England, they wouldn’t even be competitive in their current guise, they’re not what they used to be.
The Sharks have so many Boks now that I think a full-strength Sharks team could probably turn over a couple of 6N sides at home but then arguably so could Leinster and Toulouse.
anyhow g’nytol
22 Jul 2012, 01:18 am
@nama1-672:
Howzit Nama
I’m going for the CHIEFS, gonna be tough against a can do no wrong team in the eyes of the referees and establishment, but have to go for the Waikato Boys, can not stand the other side in Nz Derbies.
22 Jul 2012, 01:18 am
What will they say if Toetie loses 3 play off games in 3 years as coach?… Will they be content (a play off is, after all, over-achieving for the Stormers)? Or will they call for his head in aid of finding a coach to take them to the next level?….
All will be revealed………..
22 Jul 2012, 01:34 am
@wooden spoon-673:
OK, I have not read much through the thread. All I know is that you have been a proponent of Plum being fired as Sharks coach for a while now. …so when the story about the petition surfaced, I presumed that you would endorsed it.
Did you?
Toetie winning 4 from 9?
Man, Toetie playing this Jake White (playing without the ball) game plan of his, is enough reason for me to sent him packing. I’ve been saying this since last year.
You ought to know that.
Oh yes, btw did you see that most of them Coloureds were wearing ManU shirts on when they played against Ajax Cape Town today?
@Te Rangatira-676:
I’m fine. How are you sir?
Chiefs at Newlands will be mighty fine, thank you.
You reckon they can beat the Saders next week?
What’s your gripe with the Saders, if I may ask?
22 Jul 2012, 01:42 am
@nama1-678:
If Chiefs can beat Crusaders, then I believe they are capable of taking out Stormers, even at Newlands, but I would prefer the Sharks coming all the way back down these ways.
As for the “Crusader Gripe’ just the way Ive been brought up. Cantabrians are the enemy when it comes to Rugby or marbles, just the way it is.
22 Jul 2012, 01:46 am
@Te Rangatira-679:
Oh sorry Nama, kind Sir ….I’m feeling good thankyou
22 Jul 2012, 02:02 am
@Te Rangatira-679:
Ahhh………….like I’ve been brought upt wrt the the Noord Transvaal (Bulls) vs WP (Stormers).
The recent squabbles between Stormers and Sharks supporters is but small. Sharks only came to the fore as a rugby force in the last few years (20 years or so).
The Sharks are the Chelsea/Man City of SA rugby, really. If they win anything, any province can claim that they “did it with OUR players.” So, we really don’t take much heed of them. We just tolerate them.
The real competition has always been between the WP and Northern Transvaal in the past.
Light vs Dark
Good vs Evil
Enlightened vs Backwards
@Te Rangatira-680:
Glad to hear that.
22 Jul 2012, 02:09 am
@nama1-681:
I think your provincial parochialism is far more venomous than what we have over here. With the introduction of Super 10 the provincial thing isnt as strong as what it was and I think this is mirrored in our domestic competition.
I got to run now Nama and pick my wife up……good chatting to you mate and will catch up later on.
22 Jul 2012, 04:38 am
Now seriously. Just everyone forget provinsalism for a bit. The Sharks were so F::cken bedonerd today. I love them. They were like Bokke on a feeding frenzy. Kind of the way it will be when the scum kill too many farmers and the boere bite back. F%k I loved the way they played. Bless you, HaaiNaaiers, you were so SEXY, and you slapped those red bieches into their Mindinight Oils.
Stormers vs. Sharks, May the Bieterde tea win, cos why? South Africa scores! Go julle Bokke!
22 Jul 2012, 07:05 am
@KeurboomPark-683: Lol…Classic… gives me such a warm, fuzzy feeling to see such a post….
Saaaaarks Forever!
22 Jul 2012, 07:53 am
@Heavens Game-684: So much for your ‘genius’ at being able to identify and expose multinics
You spent a fair bit of time last night chatting to a ‘fake’ me…..and you were none the wiser it seems. Exaggerate your talents much?
Watch and learn.
22 Jul 2012, 08:02 am

22 Jul 2012, 08:04 am
@The Sharks rugby pedigree stole my password-685: You say that like I am supposed to care…. Am I?
Farkthat, is the truly honest answer, Ms. Plantain loving chunnel…
22 Jul 2012, 08:07 am
@Heavens Game-686:
The Sharks are peaking at the right time.
We knew from the start what the path is going to be.
It is tough but I am optimistic.
The result will be found on the field,not what we say here.
Feck the gerbil stuffers who claim we say the game is won already
It is going to be tighter than a nun
Go the Sharks!
22 Jul 2012, 08:09 am
@Heavens Game-687: You don’t have to care….but after being less than humble about your abilities to root out fakes and multinics, your performance didn’t quite live up to the expectations you had set.
I hope the same doesn’t happen to your Boksharks – dats all.
22 Jul 2012, 08:56 am
Woooooo!!! SHARKSSS!!! What a win. They were awesome yesterday!!! Funny how Stormers fans think its going to be a walk in the park for them. The Sharks went over to Brissy and DOMINATED the champions at home! Even the commentators had to admit that the Sharks were just better than the Reds in all aspects.
My biggest concern is Jordaan. Is he out now? Bosman needs to go. He’s just not up to standard. Its a real pity Frans cannot play. I would’ve been really rating our chances next week. I still do but with the travel factor its going to be tough. No training is required for the team now. Just lots and lots of rest and tactical sessions. Finish en klaar.
22 Jul 2012, 09:02 am
it looks like a bull shark drag queen festival here at the moment, tail feathers fluffed, chest beating all round hehe he. must say i had the Sharks to win, but how they managed it so emphatically was great to watch. pity we couldn’t see as much humility from the supporters as we do from the players. Stormer should be up for the semi and no soft intercept tries on offer!
Bulls…aaah well, they had already exceeded their expectations for the season and the ‘foreign’ environment was probably a comfort zone to far!
22 Jul 2012, 09:06 am
@fitz1ella-582: Wow the hatred this one bears for the Sharks has no bounds! Credit where its due jeez. If it was the Stormers you’d be singing the praises of AC to the high heavens!! The Sharks did brilliantly and you know that. They cut the Reds defence to shreds. The backline sparked and stretched the Reds while Coetzee, Bismarck and Alberts punched holes allowing the back line to get an overlap.
After Jordaan went off injured we lost a bit of shape and the jet lag was starting to kick in a bit but jassus the Sharks defended like trojans and kept their cool. It would’ve been 4 tries had Doosman not fell over his two left feet. That one has to go. He offers us nothing!
22 Jul 2012, 09:06 am
@Sydney Shark-690: What you smoking’ Willis? What Stormer fans outside of your fantasy world say its going to be a walk in the park? Sharks are playing well at the moment and the Stormers are going to need to bring their A game this weekend.
22 Jul 2012, 09:08 am
@Sydney Shark-692:
what will all these gerbil stuffing bent backspitting stormers supporters say if they lose next weekend?
22 Jul 2012, 09:09 am
@BuckT-691: Sorry are we not allowed to celebrate a fantastic win? Sick of this absolute bull kak about singing the praises of your team is actually the same as being arrogant. Get a life. No-one is saying the Sharks will win next week but compared to how things looked 10 weeks ago this is a massive turnaround and a big achievement to be coming 4th in the comp.
22 Jul 2012, 09:10 am
@stormer in a teacup-693: Skop.
22 Jul 2012, 09:14 am
@Sydney Shark-695:
being positive and optimistic about your side is seen as arrogant.
tells me more about their state of mind.
methinks next weekend heaps of b uttplugs are foing to be sh at out in union all over the cape followed by crocodile death rolls the next morning with a duvet stuck between their legs.
22 Jul 2012, 09:17 am
@Sydney Shark-696: Don’t use the phrase Stormers fans when referring to the toxic midget. He has as much In common with most stormers fans as Terreblanche had with Mandela. Most stormers fans place him in the same league as HG – credibility zero.
22 Jul 2012, 09:17 am
@Te Rangatira-666: Look at these gracious Kiwi supporters giving credit where its due, much in the same most of us acknowledge that the Chiefs and Crusaders are fantastic teams and either will be a scary prospect to play a final against. A huge contrast with the feral Stormers fans who seek to throw mud at every other team except their own.
Stormers fans should be thanking the Sharks because its now guaranteed an SA team will be contesting the final. But neither the Sharks nor the Stormers have what it takes to de-throne the Saders.
The Stormers have no attacking synergy and the Sharks aren’t adaptable enough. But here’s hoping the Sharks make it to the final so I can go see them in Hamilton or Christchurch!
22 Jul 2012, 09:25 am
@Sydney Shark-699: Cyclops. Get another eye and see all the congratulations and positive comments from the majority of Stormers fans before getting on your little high horse. Your self righteousness is weighing you down.
22 Jul 2012, 09:26 am
The Sharks win was far from perfect and I wasn’t happy about us going to sleep in the last quarter and also having the chance to finish the game off with an open try line beckoning only for Bosman to screw everything up! Eish. Still we were just sublime in the first-half and it highlights how important a good midfield combo is. Michalak is playing with great confidence and Whitehead is proving to be a great distributor.
It’s a real shame about Jordaan. Any news on whether he is out now? I now see him as a key player for the Sharks. Bosman needs to move on. Jordaan is the Sharks no.13 going forward. Exciting times next year with Frans back at 12. Bosman and Ndungane need to move on. Sithole must be elevated to the bench. With a back line of Jordaan, Mvovo/Sithole and JPP that is a lot of speed and power. Makes for a mouthwatering prospect. Biggest loss is going to be Kanko who is in fantastic form. I’m satisfied with Daniel as captain. The next challenge will be finding a back up to McLeod.
22 Jul 2012, 09:30 am
willievz won’t like all this anti-meyer bosman sentiment around here, when i told him last week meyer is kak, he didn’t take very kindly to it.
22 Jul 2012, 09:31 am
@Sydney Shark-695: just remember, you don’t choose who you are going to support, normally it’s a geographical thing, so stop highlighting your emotional immaturity, you are giving the ‘shark’ supporters a bad name!
22 Jul 2012, 09:32 am
@Transformation-702: I was willing to give Bosman the benefit of the doubt but unfortunately he hasn’t got what it takes. I don’t like seeing people fail but you cannot continue defending a liability. The score could’ve been 37 -17 had Bosman’s legs not caved in!
22 Jul 2012, 09:32 am
@Transformation-702: and transie, you owe me some credit,
, did i not tell you this Jordaan is the real deal?? and of course he still has a long way to go, he still a kid, but eish the boy has wheels
22 Jul 2012, 09:37 am
@sharks_lover-705: He impressed in his first game out.
22 Jul 2012, 09:39 am
@sharks_lover-705: no credit for you as i saw him for myself when they played england here in PE
22 Jul 2012, 09:40 am
@sharks_lover-705: i must say, i was impressed with the backline and Jordaan, initially i thought this might be where the reds try and create openings, but the forwards, especiall Keegan were phenomenal! thought Alberts was quite quiet but i guess playing at lock he doesn’t get as much front foot ball
22 Jul 2012, 09:40 am
@BuckT-703: You don’t choose who you support? Oh so I guess all of those Man United fans in India or Africa should just support their local teams instead?! Eish what a narrow-minded point of view. Your statement just highlights the mentality of WP supporters.
They all seem to have their knickers in a twist right now. Hahaha I’m giving Sharks supporters a bad name by praising my team?! Hahaha you’re very funny. Jeez man wake up and smell the coffee. Your resident Keo Stormer head honcho Skop gives you all a bad name and makes WP fans look like a bunch of bitter, negative, kak spewing bigots who cannot give credit where its due. If I look bad in your eyes because I’m praising my team and refuting what I see as unfair criticism directed at them then so be it boetie! If you don’t like reading Sharks supporters celebrating their win then go troll somewhere else. The level of pathetic mindsets on this blog is unreal.
22 Jul 2012, 09:46 am
stroker in a teacup is just bitter the sharks won
i cannot wait for saturday
the day of reckoning.
22 Jul 2012, 09:47 am
@Sydney Shark-709: jaydafive0 don’t be like that now, when buck-t says something u find ridiculous, address him personally & not all wp supporters…sharks_lover jusr yesterday was pranked by fuzzybunny & next thinh he was blaming stormers supporters only for the bunny to out himself…
address the person, don’t generalise.
22 Jul 2012, 09:52 am
@Sydney Shark-709: thats the difference, we don’t agree with what skop says, you seem to conviniently ignore the tripe that spews from HG etc’s mouths. you have obviously been upset by what certain bloggers have said and felt justified coming here to get yor revenge, which is sad in itself. time to let that victim mentality go bud, nobody is out to get you. rather focus on the positive comments made and try and respond accordingly, otherwise you just drop to their level
22 Jul 2012, 10:03 am
awesome sharks, thumped the reds. forwards unstoppable.
22 Jul 2012, 10:04 am
@Fern is not a stud,he is merely no19-710: Hey Sperm lips, show me where my posts are bitter. On second thoughts don’t bother. You are a slave to your trolling habits. Saturday is a day of reckoning but there is one thing we s know. If the Sharks go down this weekend it will be denial as usual for you and the other hysterical prima donnas in the Black and White Dynamite dance troup. Boom.
22 Jul 2012, 10:05 am
@Transformation-711: what can you do, i get tired of these ‘supporters’ from all walks of life, that’s what i was getting at, you are actually a human being first, before you become a ‘supporter’ so what you say is first and foremost a reflection of the type of person you are and has f-all to do with a particular team and whoever chooses to support them. for example, to label HG as a typical shark supporter is doing the rest an injustice, but when he is your Julius Malema, then sometimes it’s ok to ignore what he says, because it’s an indirect retaliation for what some other supporter said about your team. if you can’t differentiate between a genuine supporter and a low life trying to get a reaction, then you are in for a hiding to nothing on this site!
22 Jul 2012, 10:05 am
Ryan’s tweet: “@Ryan_Vrede: Dear Lord, thank you for sparing me the idiocy of those Cape Crusaders for at least a week.”
22 Jul 2012, 10:07 am
Sharks played very well and the Reds played like a team that didn’t deserve to be in the play offs. About what you would expect given their respective forms in the comp. Sharks vs Stormers should be a really tough match, but so will Chiefs vs Crusaders. Lets hope for no key player injuries to the winning teams. Getting to the serious stuff now and I think that it is fair to say that the right teams are there. Only thing I couldn’t work out in the Sharks game was this new move of theirs where the fly-half stands at the edge of every ruck throwing his arms up and down like a traffic conductor. Very strange!!!

22 Jul 2012, 10:26 am
So far every single neutral who has commented on here or elsewhere in the media has thrown their support behind the Sharks.
It really is beautiful to behold. Kinda like the rugby the Sharks are playing.
But I know of one Kings supporting micro-analytical tokoloshe who is going to be so far up the Stormers arshlocks this coming week….
22 Jul 2012, 10:32 am
@Sydney Shark-709: Mate, you are as pathetic as the bloggers you claim to despise. You are a 1% empty rather than a 99% full kind of guy.
22 Jul 2012, 10:33 am
@wooden spoon-722: Now if only you could convince all those neutrals (who are now Sharks) to visit Kings Park at some stage in the next year, you fellows could finally hang up those SOLD OUT signs you had custom made back in 1993….

All will be revealed….. it will be magnificent to behold…….
POP.
22 Jul 2012, 10:45 am
Does it matter is Kings Park isn’t always full… we have a full bank account, unlike the WP…
I know which figures are more important to me.
22 Jul 2012, 10:49 am
The more pressing problem for the Stormers is that Tobie has already spent the gate takings from the home final.
So if they fail against the Sharks this week, that’s another R20m more that the WP rugby union will be in the red…
22 Jul 2012, 10:50 am

Cooper still fuming over ban
Date
July 22, 2012 – 5:59PM
Water boy duties have not helped Queensland Reds playmaker Quade Cooper cool down over his Super Rugby suspension judging by a tweet that may land him in more trouble.
Reduced to the support role for the Reds’ knockout final against the Sharks in Brisbane on Saturday night, Cooper tweeted following the match: “SANZAR = lottery”.
But Reds coach Ewen McKenzie refused to cry foul after a Cooper-less Queensland’s title defence ended with a 30-17 loss to the Sharks, snapping their six-game winning run.
McKenzie had plenty to lament after his final game before handing the reins to Richard Graham and becoming Reds director of coaching.

Not only had the Reds lost Cooper to a controversial dangerous tackle ban, his replacement Ben Lucas (ankle) was carried off and hooker Saia Faingaa suffered a corked bicep by the 22nd minute against the Sharks.
One minute later the Reds trailed 17-0 as the Sharks went on to book a semi-final clash with the Stormers, prompting a scathing post-match analysis from Queensland captain Will Genia.
But McKenzie believed the Reds were in good shape as they headed into the club’s bold new era.
“There’s a lot of things to be positive about,” he said after the Reds lost only their third game in 24 Suncorp Stadium clashes.
“There’s been a lot of talk about the Brumbies having a great season but in the end our team’s average age is younger than theirs so we’ve got a lot of football ahead of this group.
“I’ve been involved for three years and a lot of the guys have come into the program and they’ve developed as players into Wallabies.
“It wasn’t a great one (on Saturday night) but we will dust ourselves off and keep going.”
The Reds have the potential to groom more into Wallabies after Cooper and teammates Liam Gill, James Slipper, Rob Simmons, Jake Schatz, Radike Samo, Ben Tapuai and James Hanson were all called up for a national training camp in Sydney from August 1-3.
That will result in a 30-man Wallabies squad for the inaugural Rugby Championship.
Regular halfback Genia was rested from the camp along with Digby Ioane.
Genia may need the time off to calm down after his heroics as fill-in five-eighth No.2 were not enough to stop the Sharks.
“If we lost and played well to a better side you’d could cop it a bit easier – but we were poor,” he said.
Just like their round-four clash against the Sharks, Genia moved in at No.10 after Lucas went down injured.
But Sharks coach John Plumtree didn’t see it coming.
“I was a little surprised that they didn’t put (inside centre Mike) Harris at 10,” Plumtree said.
“Will allowed us into the game because he was throwing a lot of skip passes and we read that.”
Durban referee Jonathan Kaplan was booed off the ground but most Queensland fans saw red over the TV match official denying Gill a 57th minute try, citing inconclusive grounding.
“(TV commentator) Rod Kafer is independent and he said it was a try – that’s all I have to go with right now,” McKenzie said.
22 Jul 2012, 11:41 am
Nice to see the Sharks through to join us, even if it was via a mid-table playoff.
22 Jul 2012, 11:41 am
This is the funniest bit from that article:
“(TV commentator) Rod Kafer is independent and he said it was a try – that’s all I have to go with right now,” McKenzie said.
22 Jul 2012, 11:43 am
@Michael-742: we are so humbled to be in your “top” team’s presence…. how is it possible that we can be mentioned in the same breath as the “conference title winners”?
Sharks are the form SA team. We are coming for you.
22 Jul 2012, 12:03 pm
Well done Sharks…..enjoyed that one, even as a Kiwi.
22 Jul 2012, 12:05 pm
@wooden spoon-741: Then housebreaking water boy also said SANZAR = Lottery today on Twitter, wait for him to get another fine…
22 Jul 2012, 12:06 pm

coetzee is a machine,alberts will throw the stormers around like ragdolls
22 Jul 2012, 12:09 pm
@NZRugby-745: they played “kiwi rugby”! The off loading skill and flair was a sight to behold.
22 Jul 2012, 12:09 pm
The Reds got away with murder last night
their dummy runners spent the whole night practically cheating
their clean-outs and the taking of space on the Sharks side of the tackle area was a joke
Still, the Reds are not from NZ
so I guess no Bokke noticed
22 Jul 2012, 12:11 pm
@spartan-750:
bissy did biatchslap the one oke for that and then they stopped doing that.
22 Jul 2012, 12:12 pm
@spartan-750: oh it was noticed and brought to Kaplan’s attention. If you watched the game sober you will have noticed that Kaplan spoke to the Reds about taking out defenders at the ruck, on several occasions.
22 Jul 2012, 12:13 pm
@Fern is not a stud,he is merely no19-751: The crack of his flattie on that cheating Reds’ back was heard like a gun shot on the TV. It was naaice.

nothingas sweet as the sight and sound of a bissy attitude ajuster.
that was only a practice swing,he is going to bring it from way back on saturday.
22 Jul 2012, 12:18 pm
Bissy is going to tear a new one this Saturday. The tjop (Liebenberg) is going to go red in the face and do a lot of eye balling, finger pointing and mouthing like the good Free State mercenary tjop he is but he will know who his baas is after 80 minutes.
22 Jul 2012, 12:20 pm
Where is that papashanga okey who said the Sharks wouldn’t beat the Reds because they are “not good travellers.”
22 Jul 2012, 12:23 pm
bissy’s flatty is so powerfull it can even cure snoekskiet’s dementia,alzheimers,tourette’s and syphiliss
22 Jul 2012, 12:24 pm

22 Jul 2012, 12:37 pm
Meathead Bulls/Bokke rugby doesnt work anymore, change or collect another wooden spoon in a few months time.
22 Jul 2012, 12:41 pm
@NZINCHINA-767: you didn’t see the Sharks play yesterday, skill and “meathead” combined. Be afraid.

22 Jul 2012, 12:43 pm

The HG Definitive Sharks Ratings:
1. Beast… 8… Played like a loosie… Scrummed like an animal.
2. Bismarck… 8… The Enforcer. Fckwith him at your Reds Peril.
3. Doc/Herbst… 6… Doc looked good when on, but too little time. Herbst did enough.
4. Alberts…7… The Tank was good, but not as good as some other.
5. Bresler… 7… Most improved Shark this season. Getting better.
6. Daniel… 8… The Lionheart. Produced the play of the match with a backflip offload to Jordaan.
7. Coetzee…8… The Wrecking Ball. Nuff said.
8. Kanko… 10… Faultless performance. Playing as a classic, complete 8. From lineout jumping, to lineout steals… to ball pilfering in rucks… to brutal hits on D… To roving at the back helping back 3 cover kicks… to midfield splitting runs… He has added cold steel to his flair… A great contrast to GI Joe Spies as the best 8 in the country bar none.
9. McLeod… 7… Up and down. Saved from a 6 by his intercept try… Sharks weak link at the moment. Needs consistency and just a bit more composure.
10. Fred… 9… Nearly faultless… A French Magician yesterday on attack and a terrier on defence.
11. Mvovo…8… Positioning slightly suspect but had Kanko to help. Clutch player extraordinaire however… When needed, produced the goods and his pin ball breakout that sparked a length of the field charge to the line deserved to end in a try by Bossie.
12. Whitehead… 7… Did his job well enough to fill Frankies boots admirably. A couple missed tackles blighting the copybook.
13. Jordaan…8… When on field excellent. Makes you wonder why he didnt play for baby Boks at 13. Bosman…5… Excellent on D when he came on… but hellsteeth an embarrassing fall with tryline in reach takes him down from 7
14. JPP…10… Is there a better 14 in World Rugby at the moment. He is Complete.
15. Ludik…9… Has Rapidly become Sharks Mr Dependable. Did nothing wrong on D, positioning great and ran some very good lines. Open field tackle of the night, facing down dangerous Digby on a linebreak, where more illustrious names at 15 have been reduced to mere Traffic wardens. Will be hard for SuperPat to displace him.

@spartan-775: are you from NZ? North or South island? How do you see the Chiefs/Crusaders game going?
22 Jul 2012, 12:56 pm
That bit when the clumsy Shark ‘athlete’ tripped over himself with the open line at his mercy falling flat on his bewildered piehole
was my favourite.
22 Jul 2012, 12:57 pm
The Sharks need to stick with the Team that started against the Reds next week at “Fortress” Newlands against the Conference “Title Holders”… Super Pat can play from the bench and cover 15, 12 and 10 as a tactical option against the “Top” team…
22 Jul 2012, 12:58 pm
@The Donkeys Egg-778: it was pretty funny, wasn’t it?
I didn’t see a knock on though and it looked as though Bresler scored a legitimate try. Did I miss something obvious?
22 Jul 2012, 12:59 pm

So Kankowski gets a 10 ? It must be the Olympics, Nadia Comaneci is in town.
At one defensive scrum, he picked up at the base and immediately went wide and got isolated. He went wide because he has no power or ballast, meaning he shirks the hard yards. The result was he got bent like a choirboy and broke, coughing up an easy turnover to the Reds. Directly under the posts. Against better teams than the Reds, thats game over.
He’s not a no8s arse. He makes Pierre Spies look like Keiran Read.
22 Jul 2012, 13:11 pm
Have any of these rabid Stompies who keep repeating the same thing (run out of ideas?) stopped to think that perhaps Plumtree was so stung by the (correct) criticisms of 5 losses from the first 9 that he was motivated to get his act in order, hence we have since seen a run of 7 wins from 8?
22 Jul 2012, 13:12 pm

Not that simple
It all depends on the governing bodies of the specific sports and their preferences, and if no such an intervention, then it’s a time to make some money on the side for most of the referees
22 Jul 2012, 14:08 pm
will be f’cked to say it but i actually have the utmost begrudging respect for the sharkshits and their team. i reckon the stormers will be in for one almighty f’ckn tussle and good chance that the sharks will just be too strong on the day. if this happens i will support the sharkshits in the final. they deserve to win the whole f’ckn thing then.

Guess who showed up on another blog!
Congratulations to the Sharks ….that was truly 1 of the best displays by any SA Team in many a year down under! I hope that the performance was a wake up call to Heyneke Meyer and that we have now seen the back of Spies and M Steyn ….the Sharks blueprint is the way to go forward . Marcelle Coetsee is an absolute machine, and the form of Keegan Daniels and Kankowski has created an awesome loose trio….I have my tickets booked for Saturday, going to be a classic….The Sharks made all Saffas very proud yesterday, as for the Buls, well….woeful comes to mind.

But we all know that Styen is ineligible?
I also believe Lambie is missed at 10, Michalak vs Grant will be another story, the Stormers are a well structured team unlike the mayhem called the Reds, the Sharks also will have to deal with the likes of Joubert or Peiper at Newlands where we all know who SARU’s favourite is?

22 Jul 2012, 14:32 pm
Here is a FAR better balanced outlook on how Sharks got gifted a win by Ref and TMO yesterday.. and contrary to the wankathon being displayed around here..
and this from a genuine Sharks supporter IN Brisbane.. not a brow beaten one eyed moegoe who are prevalent by the handful around here..
This also from ‘another blog’
‘I have never been a fan of keegan daniel… what he produced yesterday was freaking amazing. That pass that put jordaan away was insane! I apologise to Keegan for the past, I am a very big fan now!
With regards to the aussies not being classy in defeat, yes Genia wasnt very congratulating but then again he doesnt have to be since he is right. They made so many stupid mistakes at crucial times which he admitted to and Kaplan had a shocking game. Im a delighted Shark but if the shoe was on the other foot then I wouldnt be too please. The reds flanker score the try and that was around the 55min mark. That is stil a lot of rugby to be played. So he was correct in saying they would have been in with a shout. We werent dominating the second half and I felt the entire time that the reds could still snatch the win. The ausie commentators were saying that the sharks were the best team on the day and I dont think anyone is denying that. I think it was a matter of Genia expressing his frustrations. Anyway thats just my 5 cents.’
I hope we klap those stormers!!!!!!!!!
Comment 38, posted at 22.07.12 08:31:50 by Ozbok
@CapeShark (Comment 36) : Goddard’s decision was based on the question asked by Kaplan. He asked about the first grounding (Digby) not the second grounding (flank). As far as im concerned that was a try. and with 25min left in the game things could have been different.

@fitz1ella-850: I dont see you crying however Skoppie when the Stormers won matches when they were aided by the Ref making mistakes??
get over it, move on, rather spend the time thinking of how to beat this Sharks unit come Saturday
I for one think the Sharks are in for a very hard match, sore bodies, tired after having to have traveled half way around the world etc against a team fresh and well rested and at home.
Focus old chap focus, or maybe you feel this is an easy win for your team???

yer I know mate just plenty around here call it islander basketball but what they really mean is they don’t have the players with the required skills to play that type of game, the Sharks were very good last night and a pleasure to watch, the Chiefs, Crusaders, Canes, Blues etc all play like that ,so much better then watching the caveman stuff we saw earlier in the night from the Bulls
22 Jul 2012, 15:05 pm
Skoppie see for me it is simple,
I will be proud of my team no matter what come Saturday, after the injuries they have had this season? specially the first 10 matches of the tournament, to achieve what they have so far? excellent i would say.
With everything going against them they still in there with a shot, I mean i have seen so many posts from Stormer supporters saying they would never make the play offs etc, yet this self same team might well end your hopes come Saturday???????????????????????
I for one knows that if we lose, i can with content say we tried out best with all going sgsinst us we went further than expected, not so??
If the Stormers lose will you guys be saying the same?? Or will there be an outcry of being let down again?? Another year, another empty cabernet? Ask yourself those questions

I, on the other hand, have seen so many posts from Shark supporters saying they would never make the play offs. They’ve even drawn up a petition to get rid of Plumtree when they were “convinced” that the Sharks won’t make the play offs.
Congrats on your team going through.
It will be one hell of a game next week at Newlands, I believe.

Ja, can remember a girly with Sharks in her moniker, trying to impress her multinic friends with her desire to see the Sharks lose in order for Plumtree to be fired… like that was actually going to happen anyway…
That facebook petition was constructed by a few farken weazels from that mockcharging “fan” site, Sharksworld, where the Sharks actually dont need enemies with “supporters” like them….

@Transformation-896: I know ,a dn never said it was you. dont be so sensitive Mpondo eish man
22 Jul 2012, 16:40 pm
Lol. And what if the Sharks lose the semi? Can’t escape that they have finished 6th, 9th, 6th and 6th under Plumtree. I would say the time is right for some fresh ideas and perhaps a coach that may be able to take this collectively very talented team to that next level (winning the trophy) which they arguably should have achieved some years ago.
But the Stompies are seeking only to create division amongst the Sharks ranks if they say this means that there is a wilful desire to see the Sharks lose. Of course not.
And let me be very clear. I HAVE NEVER CALLED FOR THE SHARKS TO LOSE ANY GAME AT ANY TIME. If you feel you can show different search the archives and PROVE IT!
Some have openly called for it and that is to be despised.
However if the criticism Plumtree felt has managed to release the finger from his arshlock then perhaps the criticism was justified? It certainly seems as if something has changed, and the improvement is very, very welcome. Of course the fans approve.
I would like to see what happens if Toetie gets a bad run of results? Just how long will the Stompie fans’ patience last? Seeing they magically equate questioning the coach’s tenure to actively wishing losses on the team……… I guess they won’t speak out at all…………..
Farken hypocrites and truth-benders.
22 Jul 2012, 16:47 pm
@wooden spoon-898:
Boet he will tell you he forcast it long ago hehehe
And hey i also critisized Plum, never called for him to be fired, but i did say the coaching staff were not doing their jobs,
this is normal when things keep going wrong
22 Jul 2012, 16:48 pm
Were the Bulls fans were not allowed to celebrate the 2007 Super 14 trophy Meyer coached them to, because many were questioning his job in the years before?
22 Jul 2012, 16:49 pm
@sharks_lover-899: the Stompies are doing their best to deflect and cause division. It is too transparent.
22 Jul 2012, 16:59 pm
@sharks_lover-890:
SA declared and Kallis just 18 short of his second century of the innings.
22 Jul 2012, 17:02 pm
@wooden spoon-898: What about the fellow, who said it’s better if the Sharks fall out before the playoffs, because he didn’t think they had much chance with all the travel, and having to take part in said playoffs might inflict injury on the Bok players within the Sharks ranks, and that the Boks were more important? (Or something to that effect).
I wonder if he has changed his mind? I wish I could remember his name
Whatever way you scientologists slice and dice the sudden surge of warm and fuzzy thoughts about your team, there have been some precious moments since the Lions game……”Sharks lost because of all their Bok players were focused on the tests….”Sharks won because all their Bok players switched focus back to the Sharks”..”Plum sucks”..”Plum is a god”….”Injuries killed us early in the season (remembering of course no other team had injuries…”….”Fransie saved us”….”Bosman cost us” – oh it has been a special brand of slapstick.
Two little foot soldiers have stood firm in their Sharks belief – one because he is too arrogant to know otherwise…and one because he is too simple minded to know otherwise. (Not sure if they deserve a medal or a klap…)
Woody on the other hand is now stroking it up as though ‘fyndraai’ is going to disappear in a land claim…..flip, flop, flip, flop.
BOOM?

Go and watch the cricket, this performance should inspire all those ‘glass half empty’ fellows like yourself. #winkingstrokingsmiley#
Stop defending your wickets if you KNOW you didn’t wish losses on the Sharks, it kind of makes you look guilty, no?
22 Jul 2012, 17:26 pm
@wooden spoon-911:
its not the venue thats the issue its the travel to Oz and back and a very hard game in between

You have time to think of a suitable comeback, and a credible way in which to explain your sudden, yet vocal presence on the Plumtree party wagon. I am going for a run.

Bok team? Based on form?
22 Jul 2012, 17:55 pm

England have won their last 8 games at home so this Protea team is the real deal. Best team since readmission.
But still a long way to go…..

Great innings by Hash. He was in total control at all times. He’ll go down as one of the greats in time to come.
And the Proteas are really getting on top.
One record to the saffas – this is the first time the poms have conceded 2 double century partnerships in the same innings. Ever.

@Heavens Game-952:
Do all your re-watching before next Sat. as you will not want to watch anything that happens at Newlands thereafter.

@The Sharks rugby pedigree stole my password-940:
Why the aggro, reference to cheap wine and name calling?
So, I made a mistake.
Did not watch the telly when he was dropped because I was watching the news. Only saw the replay in the same over when he was bowled and thought it happened in that over as well..
22 Jul 2012, 19:03 pm
@Jeraldjay-953:
We cannot stand ineptitude here in C.T.
22 Jul 2012, 19:05 pm

22 Jul 2012, 19:05 pm

Once a Shark, always a Shark…
22 Jul 2012, 19:06 pm
@nama1-955: Apologies. I am a nic stealer and one hit wonder. It makes me feel good about myself.
@The Sharks rugby pedigree stole my password-956: 2 Can play this game, even 3 and 4 if you like
22 Jul 2012, 19:06 pm
@nama1-955:
Then watch the farken game then or be silent. No one is interested in lies especially when we are stressed by a semi-final next Saturday.
22 Jul 2012, 19:08 pm

I get the feeling this coming week in KeoWorld is going to be EPIC.
Just hope race, wives, girlfriends and family are kept out of the banter.
22 Jul 2012, 19:11 pm
@The Sharks rugby pedigree stole my password-954: Nope. of course I dont want to watch all the snot en trane, ashes and sack clothe burning of the home fans… you know, the ones with first love for Saders then WePee close second…
But am tempted to get down to Zilles refugeeless City to watch the game…. So will be able watch all the tears, live and in person… after 3 tries minimum from the Black and White and a Freddy Le Droppie
22 Jul 2012, 19:12 pm
Scott in trouble off the tee on the last
deep bunker near the lip, maybe only out sideways
22 Jul 2012, 19:12 pm
@Heavens Game-967: HG??
22 Jul 2012, 19:13 pm
Cricket has a team of 11 not 2, 3 or 4.
What game are you playing?
22 Jul 2012, 19:14 pm
@Jeraldjay-966: Agreed, this weekend its been great to be a South African, lets keep it that way. Respect my Stormer friends but we want to whip your asses
22 Jul 2012, 19:14 pm
@Heavens Game-962: This is certifiably not HG…. Yes, Pedigreed Plantain Channel Tunnel, it is you…. Now farkoff, scum.
22 Jul 2012, 19:15 pm
Scott drops another shot and level with Ernie with 1 hole to play and Ernie back in the clubhouse.
22 Jul 2012, 19:16 pm
@The Sharks rugby pedigree stole my password-960: Nic stealing? Rather pathetic. You performed far better last night in the role of ‘moi’. Tonight you aren’t doing very well.
1) I would never insult anyone who supports the Stormers
2) If I insulted anyone, I wouldn’t use the word ‘dumbo’.
Up your game if you want to be me….
22 Jul 2012, 19:17 pm
@Heavens Game-972: yep, I could tell it wasn’t you. My nic has been been appropriated too. The Stormers will stoop to any depths….
22 Jul 2012, 19:17 pm
@sharks_lover-969: 967 and the rest mine… 962 that blaady agent otherwise know as Dog Ped… Farken nic stealing, multinic scum
22 Jul 2012, 19:18 pm
@Heavens Game-976: lol ok
22 Jul 2012, 19:19 pm
@wooden spoon-975:
how do you know it is a Stormer? How do I know whether I am now even talking to a Shark. This place has gone all insane and there is still a week to go before the big match.
22 Jul 2012, 19:20 pm
@sharks_lover-938: you make it too easy
22 Jul 2012, 19:21 pm
@Robzim-978: call it an educated guess given that HG and my nics (both Sharks) have been hijacked, but it may not be. Could be anyone.
22 Jul 2012, 19:21 pm
poor little sharkievarkies making sure everyone is QUITE AWARE of the strenuousness of the travel schedule they have to undergo to take on Stormers at Newlands.. which suggests if they win they will be hailed as superstars from some other galaxy.. and if they happen to lose.. well then the travel thing did them in.. no big deal.. the ‘better team’ was overcome by the huge disadvantage travel infliction, it was always going to be too much of a daunting task to flip over to Brisbane and back within 2 weeks and beat both Reds and Stormers at home… so Plum will be given at least one more french kiss and another turned cheek for one more last hurrah.. before the CC.. before all those sheathed daggers coming out gleaming thick and fast again…
22 Jul 2012, 19:22 pm
@wooden spoon-975: The farken fakes and frauds about now… Posters “leave” and, voila, a new one gets made… Now, its nic stealing because the poor farkers just aint farken sharp enough in their multinic alphabet soup, no matter how hard they try.
22 Jul 2012, 19:22 pm
@wooden spoon-975: @Heavens Game-976: So I stole your nics, by your own logic. Great. Then by my logic it was one of you who stole mine. All square then.
22 Jul 2012, 19:23 pm
Ernie Els has won!
22 Jul 2012, 19:23 pm
Ernie wins Open!
22 Jul 2012, 19:24 pm

22 Jul 2012, 19:24 pm
@Robzim-978: Definitely a Stormer supporter… definitely too damn unoriginal on their own merits…. gotta appropriate a Shark supporting nic to try get some blog street cred…. Farken mofgat multinic basterdos
22 Jul 2012, 19:25 pm

22 Jul 2012, 19:27 pm
@The Sharks rugby pedigree stole my password-983: I dont steal nics, fckface… I also don’t use another nic, fckface, unlike you multinic schizo frauds running around chasing your own unoriginal tails… Why dont these Keo halfwits switch on both names, like before, and then we see who the nic stealingcunts are…
22 Jul 2012, 19:28 pm
@The Sharks rugby pedigree stole my password-974:
Am I trying to eradicate my stress and embarrassment by sowing extreme confusion here as I play the double , triple(possibly more) agent as WS, HG and myself X 2?
Has it not all gone wrong since I changed my nic to ” …. pedigree stole my password ” to implicate the Sharks?
I am sorry. Forgive me.
22 Jul 2012, 19:28 pm
Ernie Els… Legend.
22 Jul 2012, 19:29 pm
@Heavens Game-987: that little WS fucknut been stealing nics let right and center since yesterday.. he (or one your sharkshits put a post up with my name on the other page about 2 back) you better watch you back or it’ll be E Tu Brute to one of your own before you know.. now you know how your coach Plum must feel when his own Sharkshit brethren wanna knife him in the back… they were hoping against hope that he’d been accepted for the Blues job in Auckland just the other day.
22 Jul 2012, 19:29 pm
Ernie ever the gentleman first giving words of comfort for Adam Scott, Adam So Sorry mate, hopefully your time will come soon
22 Jul 2012, 19:30 pm

22 Jul 2012, 19:30 pm

22 Jul 2012, 19:31 pm

@The Sharks rugby pedigree stole my password-997: don’t be a twat.
22 Jul 2012, 19:34 pm
EEeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrnnnnniiiiiieeeeeeeeeeeee!
Hashim, Ernie. and next weekend Siya.
Legends all.
22 Jul 2012, 19:35 pm
@fitz1ella-994: Yeah, well whoever dares steal my nic needs a farken PK straight up their wellused, welloiled arseholle, whoever it is…
And Plum is in the process of giving those runts who started that FB petition and all the other “Dumbtree” fuckwits one figurative PK with the way HIS side has been playing for the last 3 games… Especially those carnts from that Sharksworld “supporter” site…
Let us not forget that Plum is a Shark thru and thru too…
22 Jul 2012, 19:35 pm
@wooden spoon-998: you the twat.. who put the fitz1ella post up on the other page if not you.. was a Sharkshit without a doubt.. and the only Sharkshit stupid enough to do so would be a failed barrister at law who wanna bend the rules for his own failed credulity sake…
22 Jul 2012, 19:36 pm
@fitz1ella-994: don’t be a twat. twat. twat. twat.
I am a twat twat twat.
22 Jul 2012, 19:37 pm
@wooden spoon-1003: lol even I had to laugh at #1003.
22 Jul 2012, 19:39 pm
@wooden spoon-1003: Chrissakes, this is not Woody… Now farkoff with your farken pedigreed fraudulent multinic….
22 Jul 2012, 19:39 pm
How is it possible for people to just take the usernames of others? The system should not allow it – surely.
22 Jul 2012, 19:41 pm
@Heavens Game-1001: now the same fuckwits are parading around here as if they been behind him all along… basking in all the glory when was them alone who been front of the lynch mob out for a Plum hanging.. and they be the nic thieves I reckon.. just to exacerbate the confusion and fraudulence around the town…goody two shoes nic thieves pretending they been Plum backers all along.. if Sharkshits to go on and win this thing they still gonna want his head.. how’s that for loyalty and allegiance for you.
22 Jul 2012, 19:41 pm
@sharks_lover-989:
You lying Hor-moanal Sharkshit you also said this @951:

22 Jul 2012, 19:44 pm
@fitz1ella-1007: lol skop you are in your element, talking about Plumtree, trying to cause as much division in the Sharks ranks as you can.
But how can YOU talk in the first place? You were hoping for Jake White to FAIL every game he was Bok coach! That’s far worse….
What a farken hypocrite you are.
22 Jul 2012, 19:44 pm
Outa here till they clean up the nic a ring a rosies pocket full of posers so one knows who you talking to..
22 Jul 2012, 19:48 pm
