Does anyone have any idea what the Springbok side would look like if selected purely on who leads each position in stats? I know this is a completely impractical form of selection but would be interesting to see nonetheless.

Jamaica first country to go 1-2(100m) and 1-2-3(200m)in the same Olympics. They have .won 9/15 sprint medals with relays remaining. And all of this from a very poor, tiny Caribbean nation.

I got it little wrong above, Amos’ silver medal 800 time wasn’t 1.41,33 which is what I thought I heard commentators say, it was 1.41,73 for new world junior record but not the 3rd fastest 800 ever but definitely not far off it..
