Derick Minnie will miss the Golden Lions’ Currie Cup clash against the Sharks on Saturday.

The eighthman suffered a knee injury during the Johannesburg union’s 43-20 victory over the Cheetahs last weekend.

Warren Whiteley takes his place in the loose trio, while Jaco Kriel provides cover on the bench.
