@viewer-9: He has also delivered their worst defeat ever by the Springboks, 2 defeats to Scotland, first ever defeat by Samoa and the worst winning % of a Wallaby coach in a long long time. That Bronze was a nothing result, you don't often see them lose a pool game at the WC. Absolutely I believe he could have done better with the talent at him disposal. The Aussies always have top end talent, but it seems to have stagnated under Deans given he has had the longest reign of any of their coaches in a long time.

@6 jeest – Deans has delivered 1 3N title & a WC bronze in 4 years. The question is could he have done more with the playing personnel @ his disposal?

@TR – look no further than the f/h & centres. They were sterile. I expect a few changes to the line-up.

Pocock wasn’t too bad, probably tried too hard and as the captain thought it was up to him to make the crucial turn-over plays which saw him gift a couple of penalties out in front.
The biggest problem for the Aussies is their tactical approach or more importantly,what is their tactical approach?

He was a non-factor on the weekend. Was blown away by the All Black forwards at the breakdown and collision areas. He’s a class player but the All Black have worked him out

You get the feeling these guys are deliberately trying to get Deans sacked. If so, it’s the best play they have made in years.
