Pumas pick new pivot
24 Aug 2012
Flyhalf Nicolas Sanchez was named as Juan Martin Hernandez’s replacement for Argentina’s Test against the Springboks in Mendoza on Saturday.
Bordeaux-based Sanchez will feature in the No 10 jersey after Hernandez suffered a hamstring injury during midweek training. Sanchez has only played three Tests, so the Pumas will lose plenty of experience in the backline for their first home game of the Rugby Championship.
Meanwhile, coach Santiago Phelan also announced his bench, which includes dropped fullback Lucas Amorosino.
Argentina - 15 Martin Rodriguez, 14 Gonzalo Camacho, 13 Marcelo Bosch, 12 Santiago Fernandez, 11 Horacio Agulla, 10 Nicolas Sanchez, 9 Nicolas Vergallo, 8 Juan Martin Fernandez Lobbe (c), 7 Alvaro Galindo, 6 Julio Farias Cabello, 5 Patricio Albacete, 4 Manuel Carizza, 3 Juan Figallo, 2 Eusebio Guinazu, 1 Rodrigo Roncero.
Subs: 16 Bruno Postiglioni, 17 Marcos Ayerza, 18 Leonardo Senatore, 19 Tomás Leonardi, 20 Martín Landajo, 21 Lucas Amorosino, 22 Juan Imhoff.

We need to in any case play our own game, make sure the things we do are done correctly, the rest will follow, just hope our kicking game is up to scratch, no doubt Morne will be kicking all day

Need to smash those rucks, omoetitively dominate them clean them out and protect that damn ball in prep of the ANZ games to come & prevent or stop that rolling mall more efficiently. If it were not for their poor kicking things could have been more Competitive around hf time eg 12-20.. Not that it would have likely change ged the outcome in any capacity.

That just shows how behind the times Sharks supporters are…. They still think its Super 15

he always struck me as not being quite open and honest as a person and in relation to these events over the years. about time the americans did someith too, which is probably a scapegoating face saver cover up the rest of their substance abuse filled sporting endevours.

“I will commit myself to the work I began before ever winning a single Tour de France title: serving people and families affected by cancer, especially those in underserved communities.”
Well there’s talk that he never suffered from cancer as he has claimed

For what’s its worth, its about time he faced the consequences of his cheating although the decade plus that its taken is disconcerting

he’s a low scumball who deserves what he gets imo
also, how is the ab’s behaviour any different to this?
24 Aug 2012, 10:46 am
@i_love_u_bakkiesbotha-14: Perhaps in ten years there will be an inquiry into AB cheating and we’ll have our titles stripped from us. Gives you something to hope for

@gonzo-15:
