The EP Kings recorded their eighth win of the Currie Cup First Division campaign as they beat SWD 29-7 in George.
The EP Kings are now eight log points clear at the top of the log, with five games left before the semi-final play-offs. Their 22-point win over SWD has put them in a strong position to qualify for the final four.
It was a good performance at Outeniqua Park for the PE-based side. They enjoyed a strong first-half showing to lead 12-0 at the break, thanks to tries from flyhalf Wesley Dunlop and wing Norman Nelson.
Prop Chris Newland and outside centre Wayne Stevens also crossed the chalk to confirm the bouns-point triumph. SWD grabbed a consolation try during the final 40 via replacement lock Lyndon Hartnick.
Meanwhile, the other three league fixtures were all close contests. The Pumas, Griffons and Valke edged Boland (36-33), Leopards (38-32) and Border (38-36) respectively.
