Big wins for Pumas, Griffons

The Pumas and Griffons thrashed SWD and Border respectively in the Currie Cup First Division.
The Pumas dominated SWD as they ran in 10 tries for a 70-27 victory in Nelspruit. Flank Jaco Bouwer grabbed a hat-trick, while wing Wilhelm Loock dotted down twice or a double. Flyhalf JC Roos also impressed with the boot, adding nine conversions.
The Griffons eased to a 53-33 triumph over Border in East London. Flank Martin Sithole scored a hat-trick and wing Shane Hancke scored twice.
Meanwhile, the EP Kings continued their unbeaten run in the competition as they thumped the Valke 45-24. Flank Luke Watson crossed the chalk on three occasions as the hosts scored seven tries in total.
The Leopards edged Boland 39-34, having trailed 24-15 at the break.
