ARU gives Cooper time to think

The Australian Rugby Union will wait until the end of the Rugby Championship to address the Quade Cooper issue.
ARU chief executive John O’Neill told The Sydney Morning Herald that it was necessary to have ‘a cooling off period’ until the end of the competition. This statement by O’Neill comes days after Cooper slammed the ‘toxic environment’ of the Wallabies, and after he took aim at officials.
O’Neil plans to talk to Cooper after the Wallabies’ final match next Saturday. Several senior players will also come forward and address O’Neill once the campaign is completed.
‘Hopefully this will give everyone time to properly think through the situation,’ O’Neill said, adding that he did not want to disrupt the Wallabies’ campaign any further.
Cooper is contracted to the Reds for the next three seasons, but is yet to finalise the Wallabies component to that contract. He recently said that he didn’t want to play for the Wallabies again.

or a better all round balanced tactically aware scrum half to Hougaard.
How many of you have wanted Hougaard out of 9 and onto wing because he cannot control the game tempo from scrum base..
But that is where I say let him play his natural game.. NOT a FdP / Pienaar / Duvenhage style game ….Hougaard must play HIS style game which is NOT a tactically astute kicking game.. it is a flat out hell for leather at times ball carry and offload running game ala Joost Vd Westhuizen..

The defendant will answer the question. Did you or did you not claim, in this year’s Super Rugby tournament, that Duvenhage was the best scrumhalf in SA and that he should have been picked for the Boks ahead of, amongst others, Francois Hougaard? And did you or did you not claim, earlier in this thread, that you haven’t backed Duvenhage since last year some time and that you’ve been a Hougaard man all along?
I know this is petty, and I apologise to our viewers, but this scaly little fcken rat-tailed maggot needs to be tarred and feathered at every possible opportunity.

No, this has nothing to do with his personality. I think Baele is a far better player. Cooper has brilliant moments on attack, but it comes at a price.
he’s flimsy on defense, has a poor kicking game and frequently takes the wrong options. Add to this that as often as he gets it right, his attacking game goes horribly wrong and costs the team.
Behind a pack being mauled baele impressed me more on the weekend than Cooper ever has for Australia.

For those of you who may not know there’s a lovely little walkway on the sea-side of the raliway line between Fish Hoek Beach & Simons Town called “The Catwalk” (doubt whether this local goes there often though).
He needs to do us all a favour by walking the few hundred metres it stretches for, stop walking, turn left & then carry on walking…
