Ulster continue unbeaten charge

Ulster emerged as the only unbeaten team among the top three leagues in Europe. The Northern Irish club picked up their fifth consecutive victory as the eased to a 25-0 win over Connacht.
In other results in the Pro12, Scarlets beat Newport Gwent Dragons 24-13 to return to winning ways, while Treviso downed Edinburgh 27-22. Glasgow impressed at Arms Park with a 18-3 win over the Cardiff Blues.
In the English Premiership, Northampton Saints fell to their first defeat of the season against London Irish, who won 39-17 at the Madjeski Stadium. The hosts scored four tries, while fullback Steve Shingler added 16 points via four penalties and two conversions.
Saracens and Leceister Tigers picked up valuable ground in the standings following their wins over London Welsh (28-23) and the Sale Sharks (20-8).
In the French Top 14, Toulon returned to the top of the log thanks to their 36-9 win over Biarritz.
Toulouse edged Bordeaux 34-32, while Grenoble shocked Perpignan 28-23. Castres also surprised with a 16-13 edging of Clermont.
