Bulls bench Hougaard… again

Blue Bulls coach Pine Pienaar has avoided making changes to his starting side for the semi-final clash against the Sharks.

The Bulls advanced to the play-offs by virtue of a powerful performance in their last league match against the Golden Lions. It is because of this showing that Pienaar has stuck with the same starting combination.

What this means is that Springboks like Francois Hougaard, Chiliboy Ralepelle and Dean Greyling will continue to play from the bench.

    @David-150: Me too also as big a fan as i am of Lambie i thought Goosen made a far bigger impact this year.

    Yes i believe Lambie should be the Bok 10 at present, that does not take away from Goosen and the season he had,

    It must be difficult for the youngsters at 10. It’s a position that needs to manage and control the game whilst the coach and older players are saying just cool it and don’t try too much. At least Lambie’s had game time with the Boks.

    Habana hit form later in the season (I knew Heyneke would know how to get the best out of him)

    Eben and Marcell are the finds of the season

    Up to now we haven’t had a real general at 10, Morne is to jammer-dat-ek-lewe, no wonder FdP wore the pants, Grant’s foot would dominate at Bulletjie rugby level only and the Sharks didn’t trust Lamb at 10 so why should the Boks?

    Goosen is a real 10 brimming with self confidenceand he needs a consistent scrumhalf to supply him with good ball, if only we could wrap him in cotton wool between tests and make him sleep in a hypobaric chamber to keep him injury free

    Hougie’s passing is to slow and he arrives late at the rucks, and can’t kick at all

    @victoriabok-173: go check the ONE and only game Boks pumped on all cylinders this year was second game vs England at Ellis Park.. for 30 minutes Boks were pumping like nobody’s business.. flat out on all 6 cylinders pumping at full throttle … and then they took foot off the gas and stuck the shift back to second gear and Hougaard out on the wing and that was the end of that.. entire momentum gone titties up hell for glory.. and Hougaard’s self assertive confidence shattered to smithereens.. dumb fck idiotic dunces are not rugby coaches arseholes .. the entire pathetic lot of them combined.
